No robot vacuum is going to do well with stones and if there’s snow, it’s going to get wet when it melts. You’d probably want to get something industrial quality, like Makita or Pudu, but those are HUGE and probably will be too big for 600 sqft. If you meant pebbles when you said stones, you might have a better chance with one of the older iRobot Roombas (500-600/Professional series) with the high capacity sweeper bin. They are cheaper on eBay now and don’t have as many problems as the Dirt Dogs. I don’t think any household robot is going to clean up stones at all. And even if they somehow do, it’s going to get clogged in the auto emptying dock.

In 2014 I bought a certified refurbished Roomba 560 for cheap and it still works today even though it'll be 20 years old next year. I always recommend the refurbished route when people say they want a cheap robo. Whatever you do, do not buy an offbrand or lesser known brand robot, maintenance and repair parts will be an issue. I have an offbrand I can't buy a battery for rotting in my closet. 😫

By removing anything blocking its way. The rest can seem tedious but you also have to do it when you vacuum I bought my 1st one, the 564 pet, in 2011 and it's still rolling. We have a second one upstairs, a scooby for my son's bedroom and now a Dreame that vacuums and cleans.

I have had many robo vacs over the years starting back with the first generation Roomba with the light towers that meandered in random fashion. I will say that while not yet perfect the aqua10 is so far the best cleaner I have had. I bought this to replace the Narwal Flow I had that was very good but I need a vac that will go back and empty when the dust bin is full and the flow would not do that regardless how packed it was in the bin. The Aqua does a good job at vacuum and mopping imo needs to be a roller or track anymore to get it clean. All my others just seemed to smear it out whether a spinning pad or the flat smear pads (what ever you call them??) The 3i S10Ultra, although a roller, was a downright disaster (reviews posted elsewhere). I had a couple Neatos, 2018 vintage Roborock and numerous Roomba vacs over the years. Still for now this one wins. Let’s see how it is doing in 6 months.

We have three dogs and one being a Golden Retriever. Our 15 year old 500 series Roomba has zero issues cleaning that.

Neato XV series for being awesome and being the first robot vacuum to feature a lidar sensor roomba 500 series, for a while they were the most popular robot vacuums ever made and still the most reliable, other than battery replacements they can last more than 15 years without issues Roomba 980, the thing is still a beast at cleaning and the navigation is good enough. No keep out zones or anything but it does its job well
