I just ordered my mom the Eufy Omni E28. Sheās has cats and a lot of flooring. I gave her my Roomba i3 evo as an upgrade from hers. I wanted to get her the newer models but found out Roomba may go out of business until I saw Eufy E28. It looks promising
And that sux! They are too expensive ..ordered the flow hoping it gets better in the corners and vacuums better..and guess I'm spoiled old roombas that are like tanks and last a long rime..has 3 yr warranty and comes with some stuff..I would think of it came to Costco it would be about the same.. but surprised doesn't have soap dispensary.. but does have a bigger battery so hoping š¤š¤.. weirdly I cried giving up the 3i but it kept getting stuck in places I don't have problems with the others..šŖ
It works well, my dog is afraid of it so itās hard to find a time when I can run it unless Iām at the dog park but on a schedule never works out. Donāt forget to pick up your cell phone charger cables as they can damage the rollers. Not as convenient as you would think, it works better if you move ottomanās and small tables out of the way first, so you kind of have to prepare to run it. It does clean well overall though! Roomba I3 plus
I have a Roomba i3+, and what you described with it leaving the base and returning means the charging contacts are dirty. Either on the base station or Roomba, or both. Also, if it's escaping and falling down stairs, the sensors are dirty.
I have a Roomba i3+, but a change in layout has confused it beyond belief. Any vac only with self empty with decent mapping/ navigation (such as not banging itself into the wall for 40 minutes)?
Our irobot i3+ lasted 25 months. Wasn't great when it worked either tbh
iRobot i3+. Literally a tank. Ran it three times a week for over three years. Over 1000 hours and 300,000 sqft of cleaned area. Replaced the battery for $50 and was still running fine⦠until it ate poop. Twice. Finally decided it was time to upgrade to a S1 Pro. Might clean up the i3 and retire it to garage duty.
Adhd here with two cats. When I first got my roomba i3 plus I was amazed at just how much weight off ones shoulders robot vacuums can relieve, the braava mop was also nice.... but eventually I started seeing flaws and in my new place they struggled with thresholds and then I heard of roomba going bankrupt So I decided to bite the bullet and got the curv s5x and it is also an amazing upgrade! Just the lidar alone is such an upgrade (besides not being able to go under my couches skirt)Ā People can complain/make fun of how everything is smart/automated now a days but for a lot of people it can make all the difference
I have an older Roomba i3+ and just got an e25 and it's soooooooo much better! I had been planning to keep the Roomba for upstairs cleaning, but it's such a night and day difference that IDK if I can keep it lol I brought the Eufy upstairs today and it's running and cleaning while I'm sitting up there and it's not bothering me at all. It's so quiet. I don't even want to be home when my roomba is running. I've had the Roomba for longer though. More like 5 years? IDK
I have an old Roomba i3+ and a new eufy e25. Build quality was never an issue for Roomba but the eufy feels great and the app is better and it cleans much more efficiently. Iām still using the i3+ upstairs and its lack of lidar or any type of cameras makes it wedge itself under my furniture almost every time it runs. It gets stuck almost every day. Iām actually considering a new one for upstairs because itās so bad by comparison. Maybe the e20 with the stick vacuum. That would be handy to have anyway. Iāll wait for Black Friday or something
My old Roomba (i3+) is like ancient tech compared to my new robot lol I'm also blown away by how nasty the water is that gets pulled up from the floors
I have the Roomba i3 with tower, I think thatās around $500. It is the second unit through warranty and the new unit has had two chassis replacements. Cleans well but damn the maintenance on it has been crazy.
I agree, itās a shitty vacuum. Iāve spent $500+ on a Roomba i3 and I would do it again just for the dog hair. Itās a dog hair sweeper and it does a damn good job at that.
