No there was no air problem. I just could not give water. I also checked for chalk but there was none. I had it for 2 month or so and it was already defect. I asked what I can do and they said that I should send it back. Thats what I did. Then I bought the L10s ultra gen 2 and had it for about 2 month. Every time I started the robot it left big stains of water. It also was not mopping correct. There was always a dry line between the two mops. It is kind of unbelievable what garbage they are selling. My Roomba 620 is still working after 15 years. Of course it is a completely different thing but everything from dreame does work for two or three month or so. It is a joke. Also Ecovacs is imho total garbage. I had a Roborock which was better but I received it with a broken part in the station. Therefore I am looking for a new robot.

I’ve never understood this. I have an old Roomba 630 that “blindly bounces around” and it’s fine. Bought almost a decade ago and I still use it every day. Easy to get spare parts on eBay. I dread the day that it dies and I need to buy a cloud-connected model. How much better are these newer mapping / cloud-connected ones? Do they really add that much value?

Someone will buy it. The product line won't go away. Regardless the vacuum will work fine for a long time even if app access is lost. I have a 2014 version I still use on the regular

I have one basic Roomba that moves around randomly and another that supposedly maps the space. The cheaper, random movement robot is vastly superior in all ways.

Older roombas are simple, reliable, durable, effective, and cheap. But they don't have smart navigation or mapping where you can ask them to clean specific areas. If you want navigation they become less cheap and less durable. I have a 10yo 600 series roomba and a new Roborock Q5. Q5 is great but I'm skeptical that it's going to last as long.

Four cats, two with LOTS of hair. Our old Roomba 600-series works just fine, both on persian carpets and wooden flooring.

I have two of the irobot 600 series, the older versions. Life changing if you ask me. I send them around daily, empty, clean the hair out of the brush every other day because we have multiple long haired people and a cat. Sweep out corners every week or so with a broom. Break out the Dyson monthly for deeper vacuum on the rugs. They kept all the crumbs and debris off the floor when my granddaughter lived with me while crawling. Filters and replacement brushes are readily available. If I could afford it I would get the new version that self empties and mops(!).

I beta tested a shark and an update randomly disconnected it from the app and it would not connect again and their beta test support was useless in getting it reconnected. Tried blaming it on my mesh system. I went as far as to get a stand alone router/wifi from my internet provider and hook that up and try to connect it that way and still the same thing. The app would freeze once it found the robot, even after updates. I really liked how the vacuum worked up until then but I’d never buy one after that. My 600 series Roomba and i3 Roomba have never had Wi-Fi issues on any of our network iterations over the years. I ended up buying a Eufy over Black Friday.
