I dunno man I got me a new to me but prolly pretty old roomba i1+ and I'd be lying if I didnt run that through my place every Mondays Wednesdays Fridays and Saturdays even tho I have 2 sebos and a miele the floor just doesn't have that just back from the dentist smoothness that I now fully expect every inch of floor to feel like at all times.
r/VacuumCleaners • My grandma's vacuum just died after 50 years. What's the closest I can get to THAT kind of reliability today? ->I bought a Roomba that can mop and vacuum (pricey models are great). I bought a bunch of replacement rags/mops on Temu for a few euros, and exchange them every now and then. All you have to do besides that is fill its water tank with clean water and floor soap. I also went on my Roomba's App, drew out a map of my house, and set a cleaning schedule for every single day on setting 'deep clean'. And he keeps the floors like 98% spotless, while we have 2 long-haired dogs and 1 short hair cat. We still vacuum and mop ourselves like once a week or so. But if need be we could easily skip that. The difference has been amazing. Googly eyes are optional. ;) Why do it yourself if a robot can do it for you?
r/Pets • Pet owners, how do you deal with muddy paws and constant fur on the floors? ->Roomba i2 was good at keeping things in control, but it could not get cat hair out of the carpet as well as our Shark Rotator. On the hardwood it was great.
r/stupidquestions • For those who use Roomba or the like for cleaning floors, does it do a good job of replacing the cleaning method(s) used prior to it? ->I love my Roomba (no mop), and have owned it since Covid. Use my Upright e/o week, then Roomba 3-4 days each week. Am Amazed at the amount of lint/dust/hair/crud I find in Roomba on day-1 after 4 days of not using either. The upright bag needs replacing only once a year.
r/RobotVacuums • Change my mind: Roomba 105 ->I had a Roomba, and it did a good job. It died after 2 years though, and they don't sell repair parts. I kept it limping along for another few months until I gave up on it. I don't think I'd ever get another Roomba, but I would like to try another brand.
r/homeowners • Are robot vacuums worth it? I’ve got 4 small kids and I’m always sweeping up the kitchen. Now I have a crawling baby so I’m thinking about getting a robot vacuum, preferably the mop/vacuum kind but they are so expensive! Curious if they are worth it and an investment. ->Not technically a roomba, but that didn’t stop us from naming it Goomba the Roomba! It’s been great, forces us to pick things up off the floor.
r/adhdwomen • Messy moms who got a roomba, how did it go? ->I got this too. My i1 has been having issues charging and I was actually looking for batteries. This couldn’t have been better timing for me! Congrats!
r/AmazonVine • My wife cried when I showed her I just got this ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
