MutedCow77I bought one a few years ago and it does a decent job considering I have wires and some clutter on the floor that it gets stuck on at times. I've never tried it on carpet, only wooden floors and tiles. The original one I bought stopped working after about 8 months but I contacted the seller and they sent me a new one. kitkat8969I have a cheap Lefant robot vac that I run every night that is well worth it, only paid $100 and it keeps my floors very clean with 2 dogs. Like it better than the shark I paid 5x as much for.

pickupHatsome search result remnants seem to suggest they're Xiaomi, I'd try Tuya with each type of vacuum selection (i.e. if you believe it's wifi, its also worth trying the Bluetooth options when adding a device) Also paying $300 for a vacuum that "retails for $1200" and barely comes up on google seems a bit backwards if your intention was to integrate into ha. I got my Lefant (m280 or something) for $180 new AUD, and it fuckin rules. Integrates easily as well.

Capable_Ad_5414Reading this I wonder if robot vacuums are ready for prime time -- all of them. I have two Lefants. One worked great for years, the second one required a call to Amazon's tech help within the month. They told me how to do a factory reset. That worked for about a month. Then it started beeping continuously and wouldn't run. What it had must be contagious (snark) because the one that worked great started doing something similar -- runs about one minute then stops and starts beeping. Tech help was no help. My guess is it might be something to do with my wireless so I'm not sure I can blame the robot. Maybe if they went back to the drawing board and just made a robot you didn't have to use your phone to work. That would take one unknown out of the problem of fixing them when they go wrong. Just an observation after reading the posts here.
