I agree that the information is just hype. I did extensive research and settled on the Lefant M3, I have 2 dogs and my apartment has never been this clean. If I had more carpet I would have got the Lefant M3 Max but mine is all LVP. Watch some you tube videos about this unit. It has many higher end features but not at a higher end price.
got a Lefant M3 for my all vinyl flooring apartment. It's awesome. Whatever you get for carpet especially if it's very shaggy, I would say get something that is at least 15000PA. Mine is 12000PA and it's great for what I have. Mine is mostly excellent mopping. Don't be fooled by the hype in the advertising. The big brand have huge advertising budgets and guess who pays for that. Lefant has been doing this since early 90's. The big names since 2017 and later. The R&D behind Lefant is impressive.
I did extensive research because I'm on a budget and had to get the most bang for my buck. Lefant has been making these 2 decades longer than anyone else so I figured that's worth something. I got the M3 because I have mostly hard flooring. It has the 12000PA vacuum. The M3 Max has a stronger vacuum which I might have purchased if I had lots of shaggy carpet. It's almost double the price of the model I got. Price was right at $399
I've researched extensively and found that the biggest-Dreame, Mova, Ecovac and a few others have a huge advertising budget. There are others less well known at a fraction of the price but have all the high end features. It depends on your home. I have mostly hard flooring with a couple area rugs. I got a black friday deal on the Lefant M3 for $399 with all the bells and whistles. I need mostly great mopping.
I researched extensively have all vinyl plank. I got the Lefant M3 and it's AMAZING at 1/3 the price of the top models. I got a $50 3 year extended warranty for $50. I love that it links to Google Home because I can just say 'hey google, clean the bathroom.' LOL Love it and kicking myself I didn't buy one sooner but with Boxing day deal-$399. Couldn't be happier. Watch a couple you tube videos. P.S. lots of issues with the roller mops but I think I will move to that once the tech is impproved in a few years. Mine has spinners and no way i'd want that pad that drags dirty water all over the place. It's supposed to SAVE me from doing work not ADD to it!
My budget decided on the Lefant M3. Very happy with it. I have all vinyl floors. It has the bags but I really like that canister feature too. Holiday deal here in Canada was $399 but in the States it's $299.
I was impressed by the performance. I hit a couple snags with understanding the manual which has a couple of unclear instructions. I wrote the company and told them what I didn't think was clear. Possibly it was because this is my first RVM and just didn't understand. At any rate, they wrote back apologizing and asked for a copy of my invoice for specific information-probably proof that I actually bought the unit-and they said they are gifting me an accessory pack.
I have 2 dogs and all vynil floors with a few rugs. I'm very happy with my Lefant M3.
hair hasn't been an issue with the Lefant M3 I bought. It's 15000PA but I would buy the MAX model for a stronger vacuum if there were carpet here. I also noticed it's hard to find one without the mop. However mine has a choice so I could use vacuum only if I wanted to. Good luck on your search.
I got the Lefant M3 because I'm not impressed by the hype of the big brands. They have 2 decades of experience ahead of the big brands and it shows. Mine was half the price of the big boys and has all the high end features. Suggest you watch a few you tube videos on theis model.
Extremely happy with the Lefant M3. Black Friday deal $399
At least with MOVA you get a 3 year warranty. The others only 1. However I got the Lefant M3 which has all the high end features and just paid $50 for a 3 year extended warranty. Watch a couple comparison videos on you tube. You will not be disappointed. I got mine during the black friday event-$399. It's a great mopping machine which is mostly what I need but a 12000PA vacuum which is more than enough for my few carpets which are short pile. If you have real shaggy ones you probably need 15000PA or higher. The big names have only been around since 2017 or sooner. Lefant has 2 decades of production and research ahead of all the big boys and are have the price or less. I looked at every aspect before I bought and am incredibly happy with this thing.
I'm hard flooring and got a Lefant M3. It's awesome. If you want to do carpet, you'd need a strong vacuum and it depends on the thickness of the pile. Mine is 12000PA but for a lot of carpet I would get a 15000PA or higher.
I drove myself nutz with this too. After estensive research, I got the Lefant M3 which is on a boxing day bargain of $399. This thing blows the big boys out of the water at 1/3 the price and they have a couple of decades of R&D more than the others as well. That's gotta be worth something. I added a $50 extended warranty. I have all vinyl plank flooring and am a senior. Mine has a 12000PA vacuum. If I had kids and carpet, I'd get the M3 Max.
So yeah I've been watching the sales and decided to pull the trigger on the Lefant M3. $395 for boxing day sale. Wish me luck.
I'm looking at the Lefant M3 or M3 max. After researching these companies I found Dreame (Xiomi) has been around since 2017 and Mova 2023. However, Lefant has been in the game since 1996. Those extra years were spent in product development. The bigger companies spend way more on advertising proclaiming they are the 'cadillac' of robot vacuums. (guess who pays for that?) In my opinion, many years of r&d just trump big advertising budget. Watch some of the you tube videos about these so you can compare performance. This Lefant delivers premium features at less than half the price. Also, the after market products (bags, filters, cleaner( are way cheaper than the big names. The advantage with MOVA is their 3 years warranty over all the others at one year. With the Lefant purchase, I will just pay the $40 for the extended warranty. Still saving over half from what I'd spend on the big name brand. Something funny happened. I have been banned for life from r/roomba which I joined to hear various opinions. By way of comparison I asked a question 'How does this roomba compare with the Dreame?' They kicked me out because on that group it is a sinful thing to dare mention any other brand. GEEZ!
On 2 models I saw but don't remember which ones. The roler technology is new and has lots of parts so I decided against it for this purchase. Maybe a future purchase. I just ordered the Lefant M3 which was a rock bottom black Friday price of $399. It's lesser known but offers all the higher end options like hot water mop. It gets excellent reviews. Plus they gave me a zero interest payment plan. Just want to mention, I got a 3 year extended warranty because all the robo vacuum companies give you only 1 year except MOVO who is 3 years.
I contacted the company because I couldn't understand something in the manual, probably since this is my first ever RVM. They sent me apologies and an accessory kit. I'm impressed with the cleaning ability but still haven't figured out where to keep the unit. It truly does have all the high end features. First run I purposely left my floors dirty, spills and lots of debris. The unit goes to the base frequently(maybe because the floors were so dirty)and cleans it's mops and empties the dust bin. I have 2 no shedding little dogs but my own hair is waist length. The unit stopped and lifted the mops. I didn't know what that meant so I paused cleaning and looked underneath. My long hair was wrapped around the brush which I had to clean twice. I'm sure that is because I hadn't vacuumed in a few weeks. The debris box was filled with my hair too. I'll run it every day for a week and then every other day to see what I will actually require. I can set it to do bedroom bathroom hall right after I get up. When I'm in my room at night, it will be set to do a cycle out there. How often remains to be seen but I'm thinking in the summer with windows open there will be a lot more dust. So far, I am very impressed.
For a full size house they are saying it will have to be filled/emptied every 6-8 weeks. I'm in a 1 bedroom apartment, all vinyl plank flooring. I just ran the first mapping run and purposely left my floors unvacuumed with lots of debris and spills. It did an incredible job but the charge did not last as long as I thought it would. I wonder if it's because it was so heavily soiled?
I love my Lefant M3. Great price and performance. Best kept secret.
I just started using my new LefantM3. Lots of things to figure out! In your circumstances, make sure to get a vacuum 15000PA or higher since that is what carpets need. I have vynil plank flooring. so far is doing an incredible job. Also, I am surprised how good the mopping is.
I bought a Lefant M3 Max on last week's Amazon deals so less than half MSRP. It's 32cm wide and the base station is 37cm wide. It's smaller than most vacuums and as you know furniture is generally tighter and closer to each other. This was important to me as I need the vacuum to get to the otherside of my bed and there's a small 35cm wide space where it can get through. My old bumper vacuum Ecovas Deebot 920 could only sometimes do this area, it either ignored the space or got in but killed its batteries attempting to get out. My apartment is mostly carpet, I only have tiles in the bathroom and kitchen so carpet cleaning ability is more important than it's mopping ability but it's still nice to be able to mop I only received it this weekend so I'm still playing with it but so far it has managed to map/vacuum my space which comes to about 32m² with 40% battery used at standard and pretty much all of the battery from 81% when run at full power. It's app is alright, when looked at from the price I paid for it, it's impressive. From the perspective of its MSRP I think the app is thin on some features and needs a UI person to go through it and make it better.
I just bough a Lefant M3 Max. It's awesome. The software, the app.. the product quality. $499 AUD, Don't waste money on a robot vac. Max $500 dollars
Lefant M3 está saliendo bastante bien, buena potencia, fregado ( especial alfombras y mascotas ) y base autovaciado. Lo mejor es que te sobra dinero [Mirala en la review](https://aspiradora-robotpro.com/lefant/)
Jus got a Lefant M3, quite impressed with it. Has spinning mops and I've set the interval to 10mins. Which seems to work well. It mops, returns, cleans mops and sets off again to continue where it left off. It must be doing a reasonable job as the dirty water tank is quite dirty. I used to have a Proscenic X1 with a flat vibrating mop which was OK. I just got fed up with cleaning the pads and refilling the tank all the time.
I don’t see this brand often suggested but my Lafant (with LiDAR) has been a great investment for our household. I was able to integrate using the Tuya integration. And the mapping function works real nice. https://preview.redd.it/zxg65tu0ea2g1.jpeg?width=1320&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1c1ac20230081c476e947de1a6221e6a9ee1fd21
Lefant has been decent. Has never got lost. Seems to not miss anything.
I love mine, use it at least once a day due to the amount of shedding my dogs do. not a deep cleaner but works great keeping things under control. bought one for my son and he loves it too.
Reading this I wonder if robot vacuums are ready for prime time -- all of them. I have two Lefants. One worked great for years, the second one required a call to Amazon's tech help within the month. They told me how to do a factory reset. That worked for about a month. Then it started beeping continuously and wouldn't run. What it had must be contagious (snark) because the one that worked great started doing something similar -- runs about one minute then stops and starts beeping. Tech help was no help. My guess is it might be something to do with my wireless so I'm not sure I can blame the robot. Maybe if they went back to the drawing board and just made a robot you didn't have to use your phone to work. That would take one unknown out of the problem of fixing them when they go wrong. Just an observation after reading the posts here.
lol what the fuck got up OPs ass about robot vacs? I have a LeFant I got for $90. Thing runs 4 hours or so on one charge. I run it every day. I only empty it once a week. The maintenance I put in takes literally 3 minutes. It saves me at least an hour worth of sweeping a week.
I have a cheapo LeFant that I got for free. Just swapped the battery. It's only a vacuum. I swear by it. We only have 1 kid but the crap that, that thing sucks up is incredible. Sometimes it even gets little toys. It's a heck of a machine. I'd recommend it.
