As a pool tech here in Australia, I wouldn’t recommend Aiper. A lot of our customers have them and aren’t happy with them, apparently the Aiper surface skimmer is better though. Dolphin are probably the best on the market but you are also paying for that. We sell BWT products corded and cordless. The corded BWT robots are fantastic such as the RX1 and would be great in your pool, the cordless ones however are also pretty crappy. Pool looks great btw

AS FAR AS I'M CONCERN, I WILL NEVER EVER PURCHASE ANOTHER WIRELESS VACUUM CLEANER!!!  BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THEM.   IMPOSSIBLE TO GET AN REPLACEMENT BATTERY!!!!!!!!!!.   MY VACUUM ONLY LASTED 8 MONTHS. MY MIELE IS MY BEST FRIEND

And they have a really shitty ai. I won't buy them anymore although I get them at the internal workforce price.

r/FrugalIs it worth paying more for a robot vacuum if it makes cleaning easier?

It depends on your home! I have several little kiddos leaving mess and toys. And other stuff cluttering some areas. I think a robot vacuum would suck up a lot of small toys/objects and food, so I often actually sweep rather than vacuum, or before vacuuming. Rather than a roomba, we got a Miele, which works well and is quiet, but costs more than some other kinds. If you don’t have objects all over your floor, it’s a great idea! I know people with shedding dogs that had spotless, dog hair-free homes, thanks to the robo-vac.

We've had roomba, ecovacs, and Miele in the past. The Ecovacs pro Omni is my favorite. I run Miele scout about once a week for large particles dragged in from the yard. Long hair is no match for this model and it doesn't get stuck everywhere and suck up cords. It has great mapping and AI integration. I highly recommend it and the winbot.
