Reliable, great mopping (lifts pads), but poor cable avoidance.

the mops are not as wet as you think. they dry in like 20 seconds max after passing the area. If you are really worried about it I would recommend the mobius or matrix (as both support a dedicated wood floor cleaner and mop pads that are theoretically better for wooden floors). I have the Matrix (it doesn't path that well under low obstacles and is more expensive than the mobius, so I am going to return it and try the mobius. Otherwise it cleans pretty well.
You will not find any that have a fabulous customer service. I am very happy with the Mobius 60 so far. I also have tried the dreame matrix 10, mova z60, narwal flow, and the dream aqua 10 roller. The rollers mop a little better (but all had failures within a month, except the narwal which couldn't map my house well and got stuck under my furniture).
So far I haven't had much luck with Robot Vacuums. Since Black Friday I have had the Mova Z60 (liked it but had a software failure that prevented it from operating), the Narwal Flow (liked it but frequently got stuck under my furniture (one time wedged so badly I had to use a lot of force to remove it); matrix 10 (pretty good but expensive) and finally the Mobius 60 (not holding a charge for some reason). I need something that is smaller then 3.5 inches for the cabinets considering: the X50, maybe X60 (reviews seem well but price is kind of crazy), not sure if there is another I should consider. The saros 20r doesn't appear to be coming out till the end of March, so sadly it doesn't appear to fit into my time frame unless this robot I get fails, however I need a robot now.
Saros 20 is coming out in like a week so don't get the 10R. I would get the Saros 20 if you can save a little more. Mobius 60 was good but is very slow at cleaning, also occasionally got stuck with cat hair (4 cats). The Mova z60 was very good as well but got stuck under my furniture a few two many times. If you don't have low furniture the z60 is superior to both the 10R and the Mobius 60 at vacuuming and moping. I would have gladly kept it but for my height limitation. If you can wait till April and the flow 2 is available I would consider that as well, it will probably be the best mop out there.
I own the Saros 20. Prior to that I owned a Mobius 60, Narwal Flow, Z60, and matrix 10 as of recently. The saros 20 is the first vacuum I have owned that has not needed to be recovered due to getting stuck somewhere either due to going under something it couldn't fit, or putting itself surrounded by obstacles (little kids/pet toys) and not being able to figure out the same path it used to get in to get back out. I have 4 cats and the saros 20 has vacuumed the best of the previous mile. Similarly my house is 90% tile/hardwood, with an occasional runner and 2 small low pile carpets in the kids bedrooms (winter gets cold up hereand wood floors are not great for radiant heat). The saros is not as good at mopping as the narwal flow 2. However, the flow 1 got stuck under my furniture cabinet so badly that it actually broke having me remove it. Otherwise, the flow was the best robot of the ones I previously owned within the past 2 years. The saros 20 will pull hair out of the rugs better. Of note it appears the narwal flow is quieter if that matters, can run longer, and operates faster (as long as not in freo mind)
I got mova mobius 60 since I liked the automatic mop pad replacement system. I was trying to avoid the whole cross-contamination issue. My previous budget robot vacuum would sometimes just spread kitchen grease around instead of actually cleaning it properly. I know some newer robots can clean the mop and do room-by-room cleaning now, but I still hardly trusted using the same mop pad across different areas. For me, physically swapping mop pad would be a better solution.
MOVA’s P50s, V50, V60 Mobius, Z60 have fur compression
Perhaps the MOVA Mobius 60? I saw it at 999 and the pressure retention baffle for carpets seems to do better based on justadad’s videos and a German review on low pile carpet, especially if it’s high pile. You can also set it to lift up by 1cm or so so it can cross and clean 3cm carpets.
Since you have a 50/50 split of carpet and hard floors and prioritize hands-off maintenance, the MOVA Mobius 60 would ideally be my top recommendation. It features a pressure retention baffle that creates a better vacuum seal on carpets, which is great for the carpeted half of your house. However, the price unfortunately jumped back up to $1,599 after Black Friday, which puts it outside your $1,300 limit. Given that constraint, I’d recommend looking at the MOVA V50 Ultra (currently ~$779). It is extremely hands-off (very quiet, self-cleaning maintenance) and fits comfortably within your budget. You miss out on the pressure retention baffle and the automatic mop-swapping capability of the Mobius 60, but it is otherwise a very similar machine for significantly less money. You can read my detailed review of the V50 here to see if it fits your needs: https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1mmdaw4/still_not_perfect_but_my_dog_and_i_think_the_mova/ Full disclosure: MOVA sent me these units to test and keep as part of their Reddit collaboration program. They had no editorial control over my review. If you do decide the V50 is the right fit, code MOTMOV50 gets you an extra $20 off at their official store bringing the price down to $779. Hope this helps!~
Shouldn’t the Mobius get over an inch? You need to set the lip as a crossable threshold
Oh no that sucks, the MOVA Mobius 60, a spinning mop robot, has the same climbing capabilities and can climb a single threshold up to 5cm! However, it’s 100 dollars more expensive at 1099, and some features like mop swapping may not be needed in your home. FWIW, I never had the MOVA Z60 ultra roller leak or smell awful after every run after 43,000sqft, even after I made it clean dried on mustard (only the dirty water tank in the base station made me gag once I opened it to clean afterwards). I do not have quarter round molding so I can’t tell how it’ll do with that.
3.6 inches/9.1cm is quite a generous clearance. If you worry about it being good at avoiding things, brands like DJI, dreame, eufy, matic, mova, Narwal, will fare better than ecovacs and roborock at obstacle avoidance. Out of the brands I listed, dreame/mova models with a spinning mop and a retracting lidar will fit. If you’re okay with tidying up, ecovacs (t50) and roborock (Saros lineup, Curv X) also have options that are also short enough to fit under there. As for long hair, dreame/MOVA and roborock do better mainly because they rely on the airflow directing any tangled hair into the dustbin instead of combing it like ecovacs.
I have the Mobius 60. We make it vacuum every day and mop every second day. For some context: we have two dogs, one of which sheds and live in Canada (—> snow/salt comes into the house when dogs go for a walk)
It's a perk for mixed flooring homes (eg tile in bathroom and hardwood elsewhere). That said it's negligible. The big perk of the Mobius 60 is the carpet baffle in my opinion.
I mean any of the 3 you listed are excellent. Personally recommended the L50 (does nearly everything the WAY more expensive x60 does) to my mom and she's been super happy (similar floor stuff to yours). At the end of the day you won't be unhappy with any of the three. The perk of the Mobius 60 is it has a carpet baffle that comes down health gets stronger carpet cleaning performance over the others- you also have the added benefit of different mobs for different floorings/rooms. Again though you won't go wrong with any of the three. If wanting to hook up to plumbing is something in the future to make it extra hands off, both Dreame models allow for that where the Mobius does not Any questions feel free to ask
MOVA Z60 URC has a short battery life, and its other biggest issue is navigation in my testing. It’s slow and I saw a fair amount of circling around, stopping, thinking, etc. However, it has seemed a little better lately possibly from new firmware. The Mobius 60 I am testing seems to navigate much better ! The roller mop material doesn’t hold up very well imo and the fluffer doesn’t really fluff it. It uses a lot of water, so I turned that down to 1. Otherwise, its vacuum performance was good on my carpet rice test.
