MOVA - Z5 Pro Crawler

Yes I hope they improve it in time for global release though this seems unlikely as they’ve already shipped out preorders in the HK/MO market. I have my eyes on the MOVA Z5 as its mopping is so much better. Wondering how NarWal’s upcoming roller mop robot will do

One second 😂 I know the MOVA Z5 (mainland only model) advertises that their crawling mop uses 36°C water when mopping which sounds plausible to me since they don’t use a spinning mop but I don’t know how much the water will cool down to when the mop touches the floor. Hopefully it gets freed to the international markets because reviews have shown promising results. UWANT claims the water used during mopping on their roller mop robot (U300) is 60°C which sounds very implausible.

Vacuuming: dreame (bristle brush) and Roborock Great obstacle avoidance: Eufy s1 pro (you can consider this one too even though it uses a roller mop as it also mops well), dreame models from X30 Ultra (MOVA P10 Pro Ultra as it is a subbrand), and Narwal Freo Z Ultra These are the only ones I know that are very cord free with obstacle avoidance. Roborock is behind in obstacle avoidance. Remop and clean mop pads again if needed: same dreame/mova models as before and the Narwal Freo Z ultra For uneven tiles, I recommend you wait for the upcoming dreame X50 Ultra as their mop holders can tilt by 5° for uneven flooring. You can further enhance the mopping by using plusher mop pads like Narwal or Roborock’s. I also recommend waiting for CES 2025 to finish as new models by these brands will be announced there! Dreame will also have a new robot with a roller mop that will be even better than their subbrand MOVA’s Z5 which is currently the best mopping robot on the market which uses a crawling mop.
