I just grabbed the mova z60. I'm in Canada, but Amazon US has it for 1099$, marked down from 1499$. It gets great reviews, has a roller mop that gets washed as it's cleaning the floor so you're not just spreading dirt around. Mova is dreame's budget line. This is similar to the aqua 10, but gets better reviews!
r/RobotVacuums • Roborock Saros 10R is now under $1200, should I go for it? ->By the time we unboxed it yesterday, there wasn't time to get a full charge before my kids went to bed. So we charged it overnight and ran it this morning. Because I did the initial setup a bit wrong the first map was a bit wonky. So o deleted the map and this time sent it on a fast mapping mission which worked well. Then did a vacuum followed by mopping - I have pets so don't want to do both at the same time and want to ensure the floor is fully clean first. I will say we were very impressed. But we were coming from an i7 Roomba which was super loud. Both the vacuuming and the auto empty. The z60 to me is pretty dang quiet. It's a mild background hum rather than a huge vacuum noise. It does power up on the area rugs a bit but even then it wasn't particularly noisy. It also did a great job getting onto our ruggable rugs, which our previous roombas often struggled with. Not only that, it broke out the extended spinning sweeper to get all along the edge of the thicker ruggable rug! And although it did get caught up on the rugs a bit, it was smart enough to figure out how to maneuver to get onto the rug. Vacuuming experience was very good. Super happy. Same with mopping. The amount of grunge in the waste water was surprising, esp since we mopped not too long ago! The floors look great, and the small stains around the dishwasher from loading it (I left them purposefully to see how it would manage), are all totally gone. Our upstairs has our bedrooms with all carpet. For some reason the carpets in the bedrooms are slightly different than the hallway, and they are super hard to get hair off of. My very old non intelligent Roomba could do a decent job because it had one brush with bristles, but the tangled mess had to be cleaned almost every time. The i7 couldn't pick up anything on the hallway rug much less the bedroom ones. The z60 did a great job on both hallways and bedrooms. There were a couple bits left in one room, but generally I was very pleased! One of the double rollers has both the soft plastic and some small bristles, so I think that made a big difference. I checked for tangles and couldn't see anything, so that was very positive. We are a busy household with sometimes up to seven kids around (I do daycare), two dogs, and I have very long hair. This machine will be run on the main floor to vacuum at least once a day, sometimes twice, with mopping done likely every other day, except when it's wetter outside, then it'll be every day. So far so good. I might write a post on a month to share my thoughts a bit more, but right now? We are happy clams.
r/RobotVacuums • Roborock Saros 10R is now under $1200, should I go for it? ->The eufy S1 Pro, Narwal flow, and the MOVA Z60 Ultra/Z50 Ultra are much better at wet messes. Ecovacs has been known to suffer from a lot of issues (check Jamie Andrews’ videos about it).
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuum ->Dreame’s track type roller mop robot is a huge improvement over the Z50 ultra. QoL: binocular RGB cameras mean it can navigate as smoothly as the Narwal Freo Z and won’t need to go backwards to gauge the distance and size of an obstacle; retracting lidar brings it down to 9.75cm which is shorter than the MOVA Z50 ultra; dustbin and dustbag drying at 50° means no gross stuff like dust mites will grow if you live in a humid environment; ProLeap system on the x50 ultra is here; UV light disinfection for inside the dustbag and mops Vacuuming: it has the new dual brushes and the live fur compression feature, increase in pascal but I don’t think that’s really meaningful but reviews are showing it vacuums well Mopping: much better edge cleaning with the extendable mop even if the pressure decreases when it is extended it is more than enough for a bit of dust on the edges for most homes; there is an onboard water heater that brings the water up to 45°C (the Narwal flow is actually filled with 45°C water so reviewers found the actual temperature when mopping is about 30°C); refillable duo solution tank means it’ll be able to neutralize pet odors (MOVA z50 ultra only has one disposable detergent cartridge) and the frequency of its use can be customized by the user; mop self cleaning is greatly improved with 100°c mop washing (validated by reviews) with a PTC heating strip at the bottom of the mop washing tray. Tradeoffs from X50 Ultra: no more filter self cleaning so it is easier to clog than the dreame and MOVA robots with this feature; spinning mops will reach edges better and can go under toe kicks easier; louder at mopping; can’t remove mop when vacuuming carpets.
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuum ->I'd mainly look at the MOVA V50 Ultra for the dustbin/dustbag drying function to prevent odor and mildew. MOVA sent me their MOVA V50 Ultra in exchange for a [review](https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1mmdaw4/still_not_perfect_but_my_dog_and_i_think_the_mova/) and creating content on Reddit. I do have a heavily shedding long-haired corgi, and it helps a lot. Turning on hair compression and setting it to autoempty at high frequency (about once every 12sqm/130sqft) will help you a lot. I do find autoemptying loud enough to make my corgi perk his ears up, but it autoempties well. However, I'd also consider the MOVA Z60 Ultra, coming to the US and currently for sale in Western Europe, mainly because its roller mop's self cleaning and much higher mopping downward force at 17N (the V50 is at 8N) is going to make it best suited for muddy paw prints. However, the dustbin is 210mL, much smaller than the V50's so I expect it to heavily rely on autoemptying on the high frequency setting. Once I receive my Z60 Ultra, I'll put it through its paces and post a review :) > You must vacuum the whole house before mopping. Otherwise it'll just glue wet pet hair to the floor as it mops It's best to run a combo robot vacuum and mop, vacuuming first, then mopping, to avoid this issue. Trust me, I've experimented with so many settings, and vacuuming first before mopping greatly helps. The amount of glued on fur and hair I found when my old robot vacuumed and mopped at the same time turned my hardfloor home into a carpeted home...
r/RobotVacuums • Best for TONS of pet hair & hard tiles? Mova V50, Dreame X50, other? ->Mopping capability: the MOVA Z60 ultra and the Dreame Aqua 10 ultra track Vacuuming: they should all be about the same (the Aqua 10 pro track is more prone to picking up debris with the mop though) Mapping and navigation is going to be firmware dependent.
r/RobotVacuums • Mova z60 ultra complete vs Dreame aqua 10 ultra roller/track. Wich one is the best? ->Yes but it looks like this is mainly an issue for large debris and fur. This is also the reason why MOVA didn’t release the Z60 Ultra, not to be confused with the Z60 Ultra Roller Complete, which has a track mop and was shown at IFA 2025. MOVA said they are still working on a mop cover for a track type roller mop.
r/RobotVacuums • Mova z60 ultra complete vs Dreame aqua 10 ultra roller/track. Wich one is the best? ->I think the vacuuming internal for the z60 ultra should be different.
r/RobotVacuums • Mova z60 ultra complete vs Dreame aqua 10 ultra roller/track. Wich one is the best? ->I have received the V50 Ultra and the Z60 Ultra Roller from MOVA for testing as part of their Reddit collaboration program. However, I have no paid relationship with them or any other brand, including Dreame. My recommendations are always based on finding the best performance and value for a specific market. I recommended these models based on independent reviews (like those from Jamie Andrews) long before I had any contact with MOVA. That's why my advice changes depending on the region. For example, I'd recommend the Narwal Freo Z Ultra (€549) for hard floors in Western Europe, or the Roborock QRevo Master when it was on sale for $1699 AUD in Australia, as both were incredible bargains compared to other flagships.
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuum right now? ->> Low noise levels (since someone will always be at home when the vacuum is running). I found the Z60 ultra roller to be acceptably quiet but louder than the V50 at about 57-60dB when vacuuming on turbo mode but acceptably quiet at 50-55dB ish when vacuuming on standard and about 54-56dB when mopping. It generally uses less water than the V50 ultra even when I set it to clean its mop on the deep setting.
r/RobotVacuums • Which roller mop for 1st robot vacuum? ->Yes on standard suction in my home.
r/RobotVacuums • Which roller mop for 1st robot vacuum? ->As for maintenance of roller mops, I found that fur generally tends to wrap around the roller mop’s motor. As part of my testing of the MOVA Z60 Ultra Roller that MOVA sent me as part of their Reddit collaboration program, I ran the robot to vacuum first then mop to make sure the mop is in contact with as little fur as possible for at least 1000sqm (100,000sqft) and the only maintenance I did was refill and empty the water tanks and checked the dustbin. My findings: unlike the V50 Ultra with spinning mops and my older spinning mop robot, a lot more fur ended up in the mopping compartment. There was no fur wrapped around the roller mop pad itself, likely because the combs in the mopping compartment did their job. However, some fur managed to sneak into the roller mop motor and tangled around the fluffing roller and its axles which made mopping so much louder when it was mopping as quietly as the V50 Ultra. I also wish it was easier to clean under the roller mop motor area as the track type roller mops moving bits are removable so you can clean under there. The app did give me a prompt to clean the fluffing roller but I ignored it. My advice to those that have homes with heavily shedding pets is to act on the app’s reminders to clean the fluffing roller. Photo description: Here is a close-up photo of the MOVA Z60 Ultra Roller robot mop’s motor area. You can see pet fur tangled around the cylindrical fluffing roller and its axles, with printed disassembly instructions visible on the robot’s underside. https://preview.redd.it/qwcyqmikutqf1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c667a5d0f43c32c7643d72cfad6f07b510d0f228
r/RobotVacuums • I’m looking into robot vacuums, why are there so many mop types? ->I was approached by MOVA about the Reddit collaboration project. I think it’s important to test robots like a regular person so we know what to expect when it comes to taking care of it. There would have been less fur tangled around the fluffing roller if I followed the regular reminders. The mop washboard definitely had more fur compared to the V50 Ultra’s mop washboard. https://preview.redd.it/gqghgm2s9xqf1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7c23ac44fad8eea04fabe9347c0bb4c55cf7e5ad
r/RobotVacuums • I’m looking into robot vacuums, why are there so many mop types? ->I’d check out the MOVA Z60 Ultra Roller. Roller mops are generally more forgiving when used on a different level as they can at least somewhat clean themselves for a while before needing you to bring it back to the base station to refill its water tank and to clean the mop. MOVA sent me their robot as part of their Reddit collaboration program and I’m doing my testing with it. My opinions on this are honest and MOVA doesn’t get to make me read off a spec list. This model does well with fur. I have a heavily shedding. long haired corgi and long haired people in my home and the brushes never got tangled with fur, even after it’s worked for 129k sqft. Although the dustbin is smaller than its spinning mop cousin the V50 Ultra, setting it to autoempty frequently (about once very 130-150sqft) helps a lot and so does the fur compression for fur. A note: unlike its spinning mop cousin, you’d have to give it more care regarding its roller mop. I found that fur didn’t get tangled around the roller mop itself but tangled on the fluffing roller and on the motor that drives the roller mop, even when the robot was set to vacuum first then mop. I’d still run this robot to vacuum first then mop as it leaves the floors and robots cleaner in the long run.
r/RobotVacuums • Alright. What robot vacuum should I buy? ->I haven’t seen this issue to be widespread on the MOVA z50 ultra (I check Chinese social media and many other social media platforms). Testing the Z60 Ultra Roller now and will let you know if this issue happens with my unit.
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vac for mopping and obstacle avoidance ->I only have very initial impressions of it as it hasn’t run long enough for me to make a holistic judgement about it yet. Setup and mapping was just as easy as the V50 Ultra Mop is fluffy! Also comes with a rather sizable accessory kit like the V50 Vacuums and mops as quietly as the MOVA V50 Ultra Heavier than the V50 Ultra Smaller dustbin to accommodate the roller mop. Autoempty frequency when set to high frequency is once every 12-14sqm, like the V50 ultra. This robot also has fur compression which helps for homes with heavily shedding pets. Haven’t noticed any issues with it clogging with my long haired corgi’s fur when fur compression and autoempty frequency is set to high frequency. A smidge too tall to reach under my kitchen cabinets whereas my V50 Ultra could lower its lidar tower and clean under there. This is because the height of the Z60 Ultra Roller is taller at 9.6cm with the lidar retracted and my V50 is shorter at 8.9cm with the lidar retracted. I’m mourning the loss of the OmniDry system which was on the V50 ultra where it can dry the dustbin and dustbag to avoid odors Mop drying takes longer on the Z60 Ultra Roller with a minimum of 3 hours to 5 hours compared to the V50 Ultra that can take as little as 1-3 hours to finish drying the mop. I’ve chalked it up to the roller mop design inherently having less surface area exposed for the warm air to dry the mop. DuoSolution tank works as expected. No stinky dog smell on floors. Mopped my kitchen floor with dried on grease from the night before and was noticeably grease free afterwards. Haven’t tested: AutoShield roller mop cover for carpets. I like how it also covers the roller mop when just vacuuming to avoid the roller mop from catching any fur and dirt. Mop washing temperature (V50 ultra was tested and could well reach the claimed 80°C water claim for mop washing) How well the onboard dirty water tank holds up over time (it simply hasn’t cleaned enough yet) Coffee granule test Liquid stain mopping Battery life If the dustbag gets stinky over time (My V50’s dustbag got stuffed with fur after a month and a half and it was all dry and stink free because it can dry the dustbin and dustbag) StepMaster threshold climbing
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vac for mopping and obstacle avoidance ->I think a roller mop is more suitable for tile and ceramic floors. I’ve had both the MOVA V50 ultra and the Z60 Ultra Roller. MOVA sent me these models as part of their Reddit collaboration program. They don’t pay for my opinion to regurgitate a sales brief so my opinion on this is honest. The V50 ultra is more hands off but its battery is definitely not enough for your home without needing to recharge halfway. If that doesn’t matter, it’ll definitely do a good job of everyday cleaning but it uses more water than the Z60 ultra roller as it needs to wash its mops more often but it is easier to clean. The Z60 ultra roller has delivered better everyday mopping which I could feel with my feet. I never had a build quality issue with either. I’d also buy these robots from a reputable retailer so returns will be easy.
r/RobotVacuums • Need help choosing my first robot ->Yes I’d get the Z60 Ultra Roller. I’ve made it go through the wringer (3000sqm) and I haven’t noticed anything go awry unlike most “reviewers” who test it only up to at best 1000 minutes (which is about 500sqm so usually the size of half a home), no shade.
r/RobotVacuums • Need help choosing my first robot ->There’s definitely the self selecting bias when it comes to posting about someone’s experience with a product. However, unlike the Aqua 10 roller which has a known and widespread leaking base station due to a bad design (which is definitely their problem), I genuinely am not seeing a common thread tying together bugs with the MOVA Z60 Ultra roller and the issues aren’t frequently posted enough about not just on Reddit but on Chinese and Korean social media for me to say these are widespread nor due to a design flaw. The points about maintenance, corner and edge cleaning are also important which I’ve already noted in my article about different mop types on vacuum wars’ blog. However the increase in effort needed to clean the roller mop compartment and onboard dirty water tank compared to the V50 which was essentially hands off is still relatively low at being once every two-three weeks (when run daily in my experience), especially when compared to my first robot with spinning mops but a basic charging station. Can MOVA and other brands improve the self cleaning and the edge cleaning aspect of roller mop robots? Absolutely. As for corner cleaning, I’m afraid that aspect will have to be sacrificed for roller mop robots as they still need somewhere to put their dirty water tank which means the mop can’t be at the very end of the robot like spinning mops. The battery consumption on the Z60 Ultra Roller has been better than the V50 Ultra.
r/RobotVacuums • Need help choosing my first robot ->I’d prioritize a robot with antitangle rollers, decent mopping (usually starting at the 500 USD range), and an easy to clean robot. Really good midrange option: dreame l40 ultra or the MOVA p10 pro ultra at about 500. They’ll deliver the best bang for buck performance. The x40 ultra should also be in this price range. It should come with an antitangle TriCut brush that works but generally makes it louder. The most expensive options have quieter antitangle rollers as they don’t cut the tangled hair but direct it to the dustbin with their tapered end. A bit more expensive but better mopping: the eufy e25 at 629 USD has antitangle brush rollers that work and a decent roller mop. do ask Eufy’s customer support for their updates dirty water component as the one the first gen ones ship with have a leaking issue. I don’t see any other robot in this price range that mops better. Most expensive with the best mopping that doesn’t really come at the cost of vacuuming pet fur at 999: the MOVA Z60 Ultra SA has antitangle rollers and a good roller mop that can extend to clean closer to edges with antitangle combs on the roller mop to prevent tangling. It’s very similar to the MOVA Z60 Ultra Roller which is more expensive with the only difference being threshold crossing wheels but the mopping is the same. MOVA sent me their Z60 ultra roller to review as part of their Reddit collaboration program and I found it to mop really well with no tangles anywhere other than fur wrapped around the fluffing roller which you need to clean once every 30 working hours (the app reminds you).

r/RobotVacuums • Looking for a good vacuum/ mop robot ->From what I’m seeing the Dreame Aqua 10 roller/ultra roller has a design flaw which will make it leak water from its base station. The MOVA Z60 Ultra roller has a different mop washboard and hence doesn’t have this issue and I did not notice it in my extensive testing.
r/RobotVacuums • Dreame aqua 10 or mova z60? ->I also have some things I don’t like about the MOVA Z60 ultra roller which will be in my review~~~
r/RobotVacuums • Dreame aqua 10 or mova z60? ->I wouldn’t put any hope on the stair climber module being compatible as there’s no info on it yet. I did find that long hair (waist length) never tangles but it likes to get stuck at the autoempty door. Mopping is the main standout feature of this robot. I was more amazed by how dirty the water was in its dirty water tank after mopping. After feeeing my long haired corgi dog friendly ice cream, he left ice cream marks all over the floor and the Z60 ultra got like 80% of the dried on marks in one go and the rest of it in its second go. I’d definitely run it to vacuum first then mop or you’ll have hair tangled on the fluffing roller (not fun to remove). As for obstacle avoidance it thankfully veered more on the edge of caution when it came to identifying what it nicely called “uncleanable stains”. Would still check before a run just in case though. I do find at it can be rather loud, especially on carpets when the carpet boost is on but it lifts up so much more fine dust compared to my old Xiaomi combo robot I think it’s a worthwhile tradeoff. The filter did clog with fine dust rather quickly though so this was the main care I did. You can also change maps and move the base station up and down (carrying the water tanks separately).
r/RobotVacuums • Dreame aqua 10 or mova z60? ->Mainly the louder noise and needing to clean nooks and crannies in the Robots mop roller compartment and the mop washboard (compared to the V50). Luckily it’s easy to clean this area with a brush to sweep out the dried debris and collect it in one go with a wet wipe. https://preview.redd.it/2fmcif8sjhtf1.jpeg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b96fc8e3bb1fb4ecca1483c1d61c80f6475c1616 But if this is the price for noticeably cleaner floors I think it’s worth it.
r/RobotVacuums • Dreame aqua 10 or mova z60? ->I own the MOVA Z60 ultra roller and the MOVA V50 ultra that MOVA sent me as part of their Reddit collaboration program. I have a long haired corgi that leaves sticky drool + sticky food messes like ice cream when I spoil him.
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuum + mop for sticky spills, cat hair, and toy obstacles? ->3.6 inches/9.1cm is quite a generous clearance. If you worry about it being good at avoiding things, brands like DJI, dreame, eufy, matic, mova, Narwal, will fare better than ecovacs and roborock at obstacle avoidance. Out of the brands I listed, dreame/mova models with a spinning mop and a retracting lidar will fit. If you’re okay with tidying up, ecovacs (t50) and roborock (Saros lineup, Curv X) also have options that are also short enough to fit under there. As for long hair, dreame/MOVA and roborock do better mainly because they rely on the airflow directing any tangled hair into the dustbin instead of combing it like ecovacs.
r/RobotVacuums • Any robot that CAN save me from dust under my sofa? ->> So my question - which robot (if any) can help with already wet floors? The MOVA Z50 ultra (1999) and the MOVA z60 ultra (2999) roller has a water stain mopping mode you can use where the mop won’t add any extra water and will try its best to absorb as much as possible. I use it after my dog drinks his water. I’d wait for a sale. Do note there is a docking issue with the z50 ultra due to some design flaw.
r/RobotVacuums • Watery dilemma ->Absolutely not the Saros Z70, that one is a huge gimmick compared to Roborock’s other models. Roller mop robots right now aren’t as maintenance free as I’d like. I’d instead a robot with good self cleaning designs and are easy enough to clean with just a Clorox wipe. MOVA sent me their V50 ultra to review as part of their Reddit collaboration program and here’s the review: https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1mmdaw4/still_not_perfect_but_my_dog_and_i_think_the_mova/ After the review I still do use it everyday, more than the MOVA Z60 ultra roller simply because I’ve been able to get away with not cleaning the robot other than wiping the sensors for three months and there wasn’t any noticeable difference in cleaning performance and I can easily clean the entire robot and base with a Clorox wipe. The MOVA Z60 ultra does require a cleaning brush for the mop housing and the mop washboard, still fine to clean, but it’s significantly heavier than the V50 so I don’t think your parents will appreciate having to handle such a heavy robot to clean it. I just didn’t like how it can go through its battery very quickly (I set it to vacuum first then mop and the I do notice that the MOVA Mobius 60, MOVA’s newest flagship, is quite a bit cheaper than the V50 ultra and it looks like it’ll be better for thick carpet as it has a pressure retention baffle. Other than the mop switching bit and the pressure retention baffle they’re basically identical. Just a dad did a review on the Mobius 60: https://youtu.be/nPxMPwIkbpA Please remember your consumer rights are protected under Australian law. Hope this helps!
r/RobotVacuums • Advice on absolute best robot vacuum available in Australia ->> Matic looks promising with its low maintenance claims, but I don't see lot of real world reviews. Several former owners of the Matic told me their dust bags have been leaking. The Dreame Aqua is alright but I am more hesitant to recommend it given how users report that the Aqua 10 ultra roller needs to “think” with the new Nvidia chip that they aren’t making very good use of, the base station leaking isn’t good, and so is the dustbin design not being very good which causes fur to bunch up at the end of the rollers and not entering the dustbin as it should. The downwards force the mop exerts on the floor is 9-12N (adjustable) which is better than most spinning robots but is the same as the QRevo Curv x. As such, I recommend the Z60 Ultra Roller. MOVA sent me their Z60 ultra roller and the V50 Ultra to review as part of their Reddit collaboration program and I’ve run the Z60 ultra roller for more than *43,000 sqft*. I did not experience any clogging in the autoempty port of the robot even though I have a long hair corgi that sheds 24/7 365 days of the year. I’d still recommend checking it just in case! Unless people or pets moved around the robot as it cleaned which the robot will try to avoid, it navigates in smooth straight lines in my home. You can also set it to autoempty once every 5-15sqm (I set mine to autoempty every 15sqm as autoemptying once every 5sqm would mean it’s spending most of its time autoemptying). It’s able to empty my dog’s fur but there were a few times I noticed my waist length hair at the autoempty port when it was cleaning but it often resolves itself. The fur compression feature on the Z60 ultra roller does work well. It dries its mops well, it took 3.5 hours to fully dry the mop roller and the mop housing at 86-90% RH and 90°F with the hot air being measured at 146F-159°F at the different hot air inlets on the robot. Even though mova and dreame share different R&D teams, you can clearly see Dreame relied heavily on mova’s original roller mop designs. The mova Z60 ultra roller uses 17N of downwards force when mopping, only beat by the Z50 Ultra, its predecessor, and the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track (and the other names it’s sold at depending on where it’s sold), which is heavily based on the Z50 Ultra, at 18N. Since this downwards force is comparable to some wet dry floor cleaners, the mop fibers do get matted if the fluffing roller isn’t present. Compared to my old robot (similar to the l10s ultra gen 2), it needs less frequent maintenance. The V50 ultra is much more hands off than the Z60 Ultra roller but the Z60 ultra roller complete delivers a mopping result which makes the floors feel even more squeaky clean. Both get rid of dried on kitchen grease very well. My Routine (If running every day) * Filter: Since the Z60 lacks the filter self-cleaning mechanism found on the V50 Ultra, I tap the dust out of the filter once every few cleaning runs to keep airflow strong. I have a lot of fine dust in my home so this is pretty important for me to do, YMMV. Bi-Weekly & Monthly Care * Mop Fluffer: I strictly follow the app’s reminders (usually every 30 hours) to clean the mop fluffer. If you skip this, fur will tangle around the roller mop, and you’ll quickly see that the fluffing roller is definitely not a gimmick. Because my corgi’s fur wrapped around the fluffing roller, some parts of the mop couldn’t have their fibers fluffed and effectively became matted. * Onboard Dirty Water Tank: Honestly, I haven’t needed to clean the onboard dirty water tank that much; I mostly just see fine dust sticking to the sides. I clean it perhaps once a month by adding warm soapy water and shaking it, usually after the mop dries so I don't drip water everywhere when removing it from the robot. * Mop Washboard: Once every 2-3 weeks, I clean the washboard with good soap, water, and a brush. * Mop Housing: At the same time, I use a damp cleaning brush to sweep away larger debris from the comb teeth in the mop housing and use a Clorox wipe to pick up what the brush sweeped.
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vacuum for pet hair and navigation - Matic vs Z60 vs Dreame Aqua? ->I’d also check out the dreame d20 plus/pro plus and the MOVA e30 pro ultra if fur tangles are a concern as they have antitangling main brushes that have worked great in my experience. MOVA did send me their v50 and z60 ultra roller for free to review.
r/RobotVacuums • Robot Vacuum, Vacuum Only ->There also is the dreame Aqua 10 ultra track (also called the pro track in south east Asia or track S in Australia). It exerts 18N of downwards force when mopping. MOVA did send me their z60 ultra roller to review as part of their Reddit collaboration program. The Z60 ultra roller exerts 17N of downwards force when mopping. Both robots exert higher downwards force when mopping. The roborock QRevo Curv 2 Flow also exerts higher downwards force at 15N but it currently is only in Australia and mainland China.
r/RobotVacuums • Narwhal flow still the best mopping robot? ->There aren’t enough reviews on the Curv 2 Flow so I can’t say anything about it. The Aqua 10 ultra track also isn’t released as widely as the Z60 ultra roller. I am noticing that some people are reporting the base station is leaking and can’t autoempty. I do have the Z60 ultra roller complete and did run it rather extensively (43,000sqft/4000sqm). The floors do feel more squeaky clean. It could clean up ice cream splattered by my dog with most of it gone in 1 pass and the stragglers being picked up the second pass. With dried on mustard ( about 10mL), most of it was rehydrated in the first pass, mostly removed in the second pass, and completely removed and grease free after the third pass. My review of it should come out before Black Friday is here :)
r/RobotVacuums • Narwhal flow still the best mopping robot? ->The Aqua 10 ultra track is good too, it’s just that it’s not widely as available and the leaking base station makes me hesitant to recommend it. I do see people say that the z60 ultra’s autoempty port clogs but I’ve never experienced this.
r/RobotVacuums • Narwhal flow still the best mopping robot? ->Either the Dreame Aqua 10 Pro Track or the MOVA Z60 Ultra Roller because they exert the highest downwards force at 18N and 17N respectively. MOVA did send me their Z60 ultra roller to review. The Z60 ultra came with a lot of free accessories: three mop rollers, three filters, three side brushes, a pair of main roller brushes, 1L of detergent, and 400mL of pet odor detergent. Signing your email up to the MOVA website also gives you a 30% discount on accessories. MOVA and Dreame’s original accessories are also resold by sellers on platforms like AliExpress, Temu, and Taobao but please do vet them carefully. The resellers who do sell authentic ones can easily show you that it’s in the branded packaging, compatible ones come in discreet boxes. Narwal’s accessories are generally more expensive than other brands. I am personally not a fan of how their mop washboard’s drainage filter is disposable (for no good reason) when you could easily wash it. Same with the dustbin. Narwal says it’s for convenience but I’m not sold on that. Do not get an iRobot roomba 705 combo max or any of their new robots. iRobot is also likely to go belly up.
r/RobotVacuums • Best Robot Vacuum for mopping (max 1600 EUR) ->My review of the Z60 ultra roller complete is being finalized.
r/RobotVacuums • Best Robot Vacuum for mopping (max 1600 EUR) ->Dreame’s Aqua 10 ultra roller exerts 9-12N so not that one. Dreame’s Aqua 10 Ultra/Pro Track exerts 18N and the MOVA Z60 Ultra Roller exerts 17N. The roborock Curv 2 Flow exerts 15N but there are no reviews regarding it.
r/RobotVacuums • Best upgrade for me? (currently using Roborock Saros 10) ->I am in the process of finalizing my review of the Z60 Ultra.
r/RobotVacuums • Best upgrade for me? (currently using Roborock Saros 10) ->I’d check out the dreame d20 if you just want a basic no frills vacuuming focused robot that does well with long hair and has a basic charging base station. The dreame d20 plus and the pro plus has an autoempty station. The MOVA e30 pro plus ultra is going to be the best bang for buck if you want what the dreame d20 pro plus offers at a lower price. Would also check out the roborock q10 s5+ as a great budget friendly vacuum focused robot. MOVA sent me their v50 ultra and their z60 ultra roller to review as part of their Reddit collaboration program. MOVA’s hyperstream antitangle duorollers that the dreame d20 series also has really do work with waist length hair and my long haired corgi’s fur on hard floors and carpets.
r/RobotVacuums • Robot Vacuum for Long Hair? ->The dreame l40 ultra and the MOVA p10 pro ultra is at 399 usd. Both have an extendable side brush and side mop. They also have cameras that help a lot with obstacle avoidance of things like cables. MOVA did send me their v50 ultra and the z60 ultra roller to review as part of their Reddit collaboration program. There is a good reason why it’s a crowd pleaser when it comes to how cost effective it is.
r/RobotVacuums • Vacuums that specialize in NOT bumping into walls? ->Both the Narwal flow and the MOVA Z60 Ultra roller are well-suited for your home. The main differences are that the MOVA Z60 Ultra’s mopping is going to exert a constant 17N (3.7lb) of downward force on your hard floors, and the Narwal Flow is going to mop with 7-12N, which generally indicates better mopping. The MOVA Z60 Ultra roller also has a DuoSolution detergent tank (I expect mova to allow you to customize the pet odor solution to bring the hard floor conditioner but I’ll need to check with them on that) that will let you choose if you want it to mop with detergent and it’ll automatically add the detergent to the clean water tank for you instead of needing to manually add detergent to the Narwal Flow’s clean water tank. The Z60 ultra roller can extend the side brush to clean better under toe kicks and in corners, whereas the Narwal flow can only clean into corners, as it cannot extend the side brush. Unlike the Narwal flow, which claims to have a completely self-cleaning dirty water tank that is inaccessible to the user unless the robot is completely disassembled, the MOVA Z60 Ultra Roller has an easily accessible onboard dirty water tank that is easily cleaned. It’s up to you to decide if automatic detergent addition for mopping and mop washing, better cleaning into toe kicks, higher mopping downward force, and an accessible onboard dirty water tank are worth the extra money. MOVA did send me their Z60 Ultra Roller and the V50 Ultra to review and keep as part of their Reddit collaboration program. I’m in the process of finishing the review and should be able to publish it by Black Friday. It’s a mopping expert.
r/RobotVacuums • My Black Friday Options (Canada) w/ Roller Mop ->I would get these models from Amazon, run it as frequently as possible (cleaning the whole floor once a day and cleaning some rooms too in the same day) before the return period ends so you can catch any build quality issues and return them if it arises. It does seem that the complaints about the broken front wheel have recently decreased in quantity so it’s likely that they fixed it in their newer batches. Quality control is the brand’s responsibility and I’m not going to apologize nor defend their mistakes which I think shouldn’t have happened in the first place but them improving is a step in the right direction. If you want obstacle avoidance, the MOVA p10 pro ultra and the Dreame l40 ultra (also at the same price) have superior obstacle avoidance of the qrevo edge/curv. Unlike the qrevo edge which has an RGB camera, a flashlight and structured light to help with obstacle avoidance, the Edge S5A has no RGB camera and only structured light so do not expect the edge S5A to avoid things like cables, shoelaces, kid toys, and even people without at least bumping into them. I’d choose the dreame l40 ultra over the p10 pro ultra as it can use the side brush on carpets and remove its mops when it is vacuuming. MOVA did send me their V50 ultra and their z60 ultra roller for a review as part of their Reddit collaboration program.
r/RobotVacuums • Qrevo Edge 5A vs Mova P10 pro ultra ->The best for obstacle avoidance will be the MOVA P50 pro ultra and the Narwal Freo Z10 ultra as these models are the only ones with an RGB camera which help it avoid obstacles like cables and cat toys. It will also help it recognize any scattered litter and it’ll slow down and be more meticulous when it notices it. The Narwal model is more water hungry so I’d recommend this as a mopping focused robot and given how big your home is I’d connect it to the water line if possible. The MOVA p50 pro ultra is the more water effective choice. I did hear issues about the p50 pro ultra’s front wheels breaking but I do not hear it as much anymore. I’d still recommend making your robots run multiple times a day so any flaws can be caught and you can return the robot within the return period that Amazon has. MOVA sent me their v50 ultra and their z60 ultra roller to review as part of their Reddit collaboration program.
r/RobotVacuums • I'm New help choosing medium price robot in these black friday sales im overwhelmed! (dreame, mova, roborock, narwal) ->I have the MOVA z60 ultra that MOVA sent to me as part of their Reddit collaboration program. I wasn’t really expecting to see that much of an improvement on my hard floors given how well the V50 ultra already takes care of them. But I was proven wrong. The vacuuming noise is pretty loud (shouldn’t be louder than the l40 but it’s noticeably louder than the V50) and it is slightly more battery efficient than the V50 ultra so I’m afraid you’d have to make liberal use of the recharge and resume function. I’ll say the MOVA z60 ultra is the best of the bunch if mopping is the main concern mainly because it exerts the most downwards force at 17N which is only beat by the MOVA Z50 ultra and the Dreame Aqua 10 ultra track (the Dreame Aqua 10 track S in Australia is the same thing). The Dreame Aqua roller exerts 9-12N, the Narwal flow exerts 12N, and I believe the ecovacs exerts 9-10N.
r/RobotVacuums • Best roller-mop robot for hard floors? Need advice. ->The [Aqua10 Roller](https://amzn.to/47xkedl) (not [ultra-roller](https://amzn.to/47gOoR1)) uses the same [MOVA Z60](https://amzn.to/49hll22) navigation, I thought that was interesting they offered that variant. I dont think it fixes it's other issues, though. I think this go-around, the MOVA is just a better engineered robot, seems like they took some chances with the Dreame variant that didnt work out. Even the dust bin functions better on the Z60.
r/RobotVacuums • Dreame Aqua 10 ULTRA - My Honest Review after 1000 mins of use - THE FRENCH GLOW ->I agree, when I saw it posted I was so confused. It also doesn’t have the same wheels so less climbing height and also only one solution dispenser instead of two. But it’s consistently been more expensive than the Ultra version since launch. I even reached out to Dreame to ask the difference at the time and they didn’t even know, lol. It’s like a worse version of the Z60
r/RobotVacuums • Dreame Aqua 10 ULTRA - My Honest Review after 1000 mins of use - THE FRENCH GLOW ->My mova z60 does exactly the same! They are almost identical units, seems software issue to me. Let's hope they fix it.
r/RobotVacuums • Dreame Acqua 10, expensive product or alpha test? There are big problems here. ->Yes. Sorry. My z60 even went mopping my carpet. No protective shield. It seriously went mopping the carpet.
r/RobotVacuums • Dreame Acqua 10, expensive product or alpha test? There are big problems here. ->Z60 has worked well for me the past few days. mopping is great. Navigation is pretty good. App is usable, not great, but usable.
r/RobotVacuums • Best roller-mop robot for hard floors? Need advice. ->Der z60 schneidet überall besser ab im Vergleich zum Dreame. Wenn ich mir einen kaufen würde dann den Mova
r/RobotVacuums • Mova Z60 Ultra Roller Complete or Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller Complete ? ->HI! I review robot vacuums and I would not spend more than $400 this BF unless its for a roller vac model OR from costco with their long return policy. There are so many good affordable ones now like the Roborock QV35A or Mova P10 Pro ULtra (NOT THE P10 ULTRA as there are 2 variations) with the hot water mopping/drying 13K pascal. Even the Dreame L40s Ultra is $399 and is a reskinned Dreame X30 Ultra for $399. BUYER'S REMORSE will be big once all flagship models are roller/track mop models. The performance difference is noticeable on units like the Mova Z60 ultra just based on their vacuum and mopping performance in REAL LIFE.
r/RobotVacuums • robot vacuum black friday cyber monday deals to check out? ->Mova z60 ultra roller is my pick if budget is no concern and my house is mostly hardwood
r/RobotVacuums • Alright. What robot vacuum should I buy? ->I think all those would be great choices. I currently have the Z60 Ultra. I’m testing it now for an upcoming review, and it’s probably the best robot I’ve ever tested. It did better on my mopping performance test than any other robot, and the carpet cleaning is top-tier too. It’s quiet (both the robot and dock), smart, thorough, and the app has a million options. Comes with tons of extras too, like 4 bags, 4 mop rollers, 4 filters, big bottles of cleaning solution, etc. I’m excited for the S2 (lots of improvements, especially the filtration setup inside the robot), and I can’t wait to try out the Flow. I might wait for the Flow 2.0 next year, but before this Mova, Narwal made my fav combo mopping robots. You’d likely enjoy any of the machines you’re interested in!
r/RobotVacuums • Which would you choose? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
