Narwal Freo works well for my golden. It’s a little glitchy sometimes but overall worth it imo.

They are cheaper. It used to be 2k, but the older versions are like under 400, for the versions that were 2k before. Look especially around black Friday. I have the narwal freo x ultra, used to have the original narwal freo The dreame L10S ultra was coming out at the same time as that, and now that's under 300. Idk how reliable it is a I never got it and decided not to after some research and clogging. I went and stayed with the narwal freo and got the automatic water exchange system so I don't have to empty or fill the water again. The original lasted years, and the new one is running even better than that one. You'll have to look at features and pricing. Don't get the best and newest version if price is an issue. The older versions used to be top of the line and those work really well still. Do research and look at the prices and see if they're what you're willing to spend.

Id skip the Dyson as well. The Narwal Freo X Ultra or Freo would be solid choices for your mostly hard floor setup - their mopping is genuinely top-tier with the rotating pads and they handle the transition to low pile rugs well. I'd honestly put the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Qrevo MaxV in the same conversation though, as they have slightly better obstacle avoidance and the sonic mopping matches Narwal's quality. Skip the Dyson Spot Scrub AI - it's overpriced for what you get and the reviews have been mixed on reliability. For your specific use case with LVT and hardwood, any of those flagship bots will crush it running daily, but make sure whatever you choose has good edge cleaning since hard floors show dust buildup more obviously than carpet. - I don't know much about the Flow 2 that u/ChimkinIsYum mentioned but from what they are saying I would check that out.

Got a Narwal Freo via Costco. It vacuums tile and low pile rug fairly well (it also gets stuck on rug corners a LOT). It mops better than I do - bc with 2 toddlers, an ancient cat, a large potato of a dog, I do not mop. It runs at night. Floors are clean when we wake up (75% of the time, 25% of the time we find it stranded on a rug corner or shoelace or similar). Well worth it: that’s cleaning time I don’t have to do it myself and money I’m not paying a cleaner (who isn’t there daily anyway).

We are very happy with our Narwal Freo. It mops and vacuums. Got it during Prime Days

I had a Narwal Freo and was already happy with it. I've been testing the Eufy E25 for weeks now and I have to say, the suction power is really good. If you look at the dust container before vacuuming it into the station, you can see that it even pulls dust mites/feces out of the carpets. Special vacuum cleaners only do that. I've never had this happen with any robot. I'm really impressed. Wiping is also very neat. Unfortunately the navigation doesn't really make me happy, then it would really be perfect.

Currently I have both and am testing them. They take turns getting stuck but seems like the narwal cleans better and quieter. Eufy you can rent for $55 for first month right on their website. Narwal currently on sale for $1100

You're absolutely right. The Freo S is smaller than the others, and Narwal may not have cared enough about that model to redesign the conical brush roller to fit it. I'm not really sure.

How is the dust collection setting configured? Please try setting the frequency to “Always.” When set to “Always,” the Narwal robot will empty the dustbin at the start of every subsequent cleaning session. (Note that this occurs before cleaning, not after.) Due to patent issues, it appears that products other than iRobot do not have the capability to detect when the dustbin is full.
