My tile is a thousand times worse than yours, and it misses some spots. I get it to do 2x where it changes directions between mops. I have an s7 mop, I feel like the circular mops might be better for odd surfaces like this. Manual mopping would always be better, but I just don’t want to spend that much time mopping. I got better things to do.
I do not currently have one. I've got a base S7 with just the charging station that I want to replace. I don't know if hard water is an issue since that wouldn't be a problem for me. I've heard that the dirty water tank can get smelly on the dock, but that it really isn't a big deal. For me the main reasons I wanted it were for even less maintenance to do and for the shorter dock that I could install under my sink. I'd certainly pay the extra $100 for the version that connects to the plumbing, but since the robot I want doesn't have this version, that complicates my decisions.
Got the Roborock Q5 L7 without the tank on sale on Prime Day, and while it is very much the entry level for Roborock, it has been really solid for us, and there are no bags or solutions required. You just empty the compartment into the garbage and fill it up with normal water.
My Roborock is a beast. I have a S7 (HOME) and S8 (OFFICE). Love them I also have a narwhal and its finicky but I like the job it does. Next time I will get the spinney Roborock. As god is my witness I'm never mopping again
My house is almost 4k sq ft and I’ve never mopped myself. I have one for each floor. Thank you little robot vacuums. They are the employees of the month year round. There is something about waking up to a glistening floor and perfect vacuum lines in the carpet. Roborock has too many models but it was nice because I could buy a version for my exact needs, so upstairs is a stronger vacuum with the vibrating mopping pad, while downstairs is all wood so that one has less vacuum power but oscillating scrub mop pads. And it’s all the same brand, so a single app to control both and many interchangeable parts.
I went from a Roborock s7 to a yeedi s20 infinity. It’s been fantastic so far. What is your budget
Yes the max suction setting it much better. It does drain the battery tho. It’ll clean my 730 sqft section of home on max suction, on ‘quick’ cleaning speed and have 45-50% battery left
I don't know much about pet hair, but lately I've read so many failures with Dreame I would stay away from that brand. My Roborock S7 is still going strong after 2 years (300 hours).
