"I absolutely do not regret buying the robot vacuum. ... My room is a lot cleaner and dust-free now, and I can tell just by wiping my floor with a wet toilet paper and seeing barely anything picked up. ... I've been getting allergens a ton less, most of which not even in my room. ... All this for the commitment of a weekly emptying is miles more convenient than vacuuming traditionally, as opposed to making a few taps on my phone. ... looking back it was definitely worth the investment."
"My cat has very bad mite allergies, and this vacuum is a must have for us for keeping the floors clean of all dust, dander, and dirt."
"The second floor of my house is all carpeted, and I used to clean with a Dyson V8, but since I got the E28, I haven't vacuumed myself."

"It picks up all the cat fur, all the dog fur, all the litter, all the human hair."
"I have one teenager who’s messy and a dog who sheds like it’s her job. It’s been a game changer."
"I’ve seen on the camera the poor guy making multiple trips to self empty while in one room but it’s cut the hair buildup tenfold."

"They have mapping and self-emptying, which for me are absolutely essential features. ... We've had others without the self-emptying feature and I never emptied them regularly enough, which rendered them less effective."

"With three they can just make it to a full week for emptying. ... Life changing."

"it has obstacle avoidance ... I was susprised how good it is even compared to much more expensive S8."
"watching it move right up to furniture but not quite touch it"
"Roborock has the best navigation software of any robot vacuum in my experience (we've also had Eufy and a Roomba)."

"Love their app too, very simple and intuitive ... great app on the phone ... Rove app much more seamless and intuitive."
"Last month got rear ended by person on the phone. ... I downloaded the event clip from the mobile app and was able to show the video to the police on the spot. ... The other driver got a ticket for using the phone."
"and the app works well. ... No, it’s free to use. ... The app just allows you to view and share the video from your phone."

"that sumbitch craves toy mice. ... Nothing can sate its bottomless appetite for cat toys. ... it refuses to avoid the cat toys."
"The object avoidance is pretty horrendous."
"It ran me over and also bumps my dog all the time ."
I just got a roborock q8 and it's awesome. I'm in Canada. Pretty simple to set up too.
r/RobotVacuums • Bot recommendations for a small apartment? (Dog hair) ->I love my roborock. Its a q8 max, had it 6 months with a golden retriever and 2 cats and has been working really good. I've never had less hair in my house. Its my first robot vacuum tho so not much to compare it to. I chose roborock both because it was on sale and people online said the mapping is really easy (which it seems to be).
r/RobotVacuums • Dreame is a scam ->Get one with self mob cleaning, I regret not buying a robot with true mopping (I use Roborock Q8 with fake mopping). I looked at youtube reviews and it looked like most top brands have stepped up their game due to competition and for your dollar range performance wise there weren't much difference. They all looked good.
r/homeassistant • Mopping Robot Vacuum Recommendation? ->I’d argue there’s no such thing as buy it for life vacuum robot because it’s tech. However, we did recently get a Roborock Q8 Max to replace our Neato Botvac D3 and have been very happy so far. It’s well within your budget and has been great for our 1 dog 1 cat household.
r/BuyItForLife • Pet owners, what's the best robot vacuum for TONS OF PET HAIR that's worked really well? ->I have the Roborock 8 and it's vacuuming since two years two times a day and it still works like a charm
r/BuyItForLife • Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner for Home in 2025 ->I replace regularly the filter and once the brush, but these are maintenance parts
r/BuyItForLife • Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner for Home in 2025 ->I changed it two times right now
r/BuyItForLife • Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner for Home in 2025 ->I just replaced them, because I got them for free buying the vacuum ^^ Now I just wash it with water. I don't notice any performance loss. I just do it to take care of it.
r/BuyItForLife • Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner for Home in 2025 ->About once a month
r/BuyItForLife • Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner for Home in 2025 ->That's the really, really old ones. They're not great. The new ones map the environment, and do a proper pass of all areas. Like the Roborock Q8 or Q5 are great.
r/IsItBullshit • IsItBullshit: are robot vacuums actually good and worth the money? ->i kinda like how my q8 max+ looks https://preview.redd.it/2x3fo6dphgjf1.jpeg?width=516&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ce8ff7bf7d5ef5862926ab0c2f6c09f5b5771a14
r/RobotVacuums • Best designed robot vacuums, rank em | and why don't manufacturers care about the design? ->i thought it looked nice and it's compact too
r/RobotVacuums • Best designed robot vacuums, rank em | and why don't manufacturers care about the design? ->I've got a Roborock Q8 max that I picked up for around $200 last year and I really like how well it deals with my cat's fur. However, it sucks for mopping (basically just a Swiffer wet jet). I'm thinking about picking up one of the ones with spinning mops (probably the CurvX) on a Black Friday deal.
r/litterrobot • Roomba users!! ->I have the cheaper Q10 S5 and Q8 Max models and both are very good.
r/nextfuckinglevel • Effectiveness of a robot vacuum ->Yeah I have them options available, but I can't be bothered most of the time as I know it will either get it later or I just send it round again (at most it takes 10 mins for the largest room). I have a Roborock q10 S5 and Q8 Max. My house has never been so well vacuumed :)
r/nextfuckinglevel • Effectiveness of a robot vacuum ->Mine doesnt do that. But higher end models do. If you have a larger house or lots of hard floor it's probably worth looking at models like that. Mine are the basic mop pad that rises up on carpet. I have the Roborock Q10 S5 and older Q8 Max. Vacuum wars YouTube channel will be able to help if you are looking for a robo vac.
r/nextfuckinglevel • Effectiveness of a robot vacuum ->I have 3 vacuums I got 2nd hand or cheaper from eBay. I have x2 Roborock Q8 Max and 1 Roborock Q10 S5 (newer model). I highly recommend getting one with a dock, as I have to empty the bins quite a bit. Whereas the one with a dock I just check it occasionally. You can normally get the Q10 S5 on offer at Amazon fairly regularly. Generally what I find is that if you run them at least daily (im in a family house), they keep the dust and dirt down and my carpet and floors look freshly cleaned every day. My cat flicks litter out the tray, so I normally do an early morning run to get that up just before I get up.
r/nextfuckinglevel • Effectiveness of a robot vacuum ->I can tell so many people in this comment section have no idea about robot vacuums and get their views from Roomba's that are years old now. I have 3 cheaper models I got 2nd hand, and they are probably the best purchase I have ever got. My floors have never been so clean before. Even the basic mopping surprised me how good it is, and mine are just microfiber clothes that just vibrate. The worst thing about them is I have to change the cloths and empty the dust bins (I recommend a full dock if you can). Plus, it will suck up a sock on occasion. The kitchen gets bits, juice, mud on the floor all the time as I have kids and a messy house and even my cheaper models do really well, saved me so much time.
r/nextfuckinglevel • Effectiveness of a robot vacuum ->I just purchased a Roborock vacuum a cpl months ago, and it is an amazing piece of equipment. Not only does it vacuum, but it also has a water tank attachment and mop pad to mop floors. Haven't used the mop yet though, but the vacuum works very very well.
r/homeimprovementideas • Which are the best robot vacuums you'll recommend for pet hair now? ->Q8 MAX
r/homeimprovementideas • Which are the best robot vacuums you'll recommend for pet hair now? ->I picked up a Roborock Q8 Max for under $300 on sale, and I’ve been impressed with it as an upgrade from my Roomba 980. As others have mentioned, they have their place in the right circumstances
r/VacuumCleaners • If budget is Under $300, which robot vacuum would you recommend? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
