The best sub $600 robot that can compete with the fancy ones is the Mova P10 Pro. Budget matters, floor type matters. If you have tile, you need a roller mop because a spinning mop can’t get down into the grout between the tiles. In that case I think the Qrevo Curve 2 Flow is the best. There is a trade off however that roller mops are much thicker and may not fit under your cabinetry, as was the case with my house. If you’re willing to spare no expense, I’d say the Narwhal Flow is easily the best all around for the best mopping hands down, and ability to vacuum hair without tangling. The drawback is it was too thick to fit under my cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms.
I'm very happy with my Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow. It doesn't have a lot of the higher end bells and whistles, but it does a good job mopping. And it went on sale a few times recently for <= $680.
If you're willing to spare no expense, I would not recommend getting the narwal flow to be honest. I would wait until April and get the brand new Flow 2. Also the curv 2 flow has some pretty big issues, it has a serious issue with streaking because water doesnt get distributed properly with teh 8 nozzles of the curv 2 flow, I think a spinning mop would be better then the curv 2 flow, something like the CurvX.

Curv 2 flow has water distribution issues, it causes a lot of streaking. I think since you have a lot of animals, you should just get a good robo vac that has spinning mops, since they are less maintence and way easier to deal with hair and stuff, insteading of making the insides of the roler mechanism dirty, it just puts any hair it gets on it into the tray which you rinse once a month. For around the same price as the curv 2 flow you can get the curvX, or spend a lil more for the saros 10r, the price of the 10r will drop soon probably because the saros 20 series is releasing. If you want to try a roller mop, I have to say that the best roller mop is the narwhal flow, I think you should buy it on a place like amazon, try it for 2 weeks and see if it works well with all teh animal hair, and if it doesnt just return it. The price of the narwhal flow might also drop because the narwhal flow 2 is releasing soon.
I would say that if you really want a roller, get the narwhal flow 2 that’s coming out soon( or the normal narwhal flow becuase the price will drop after the new version gets release) but for the price, the curvx is really good for 780. I would says the only major difference between the saros 10r and curvx is the saros 10r has better obstacle avoidance. And I wouldn’t go with ecovacs, lots of people have issues sometimes with ecovacs robots.
No the curve definitely washes the mops part way through
I started using this shortly after Christmas. My cleaning area is much larger than yours and takes 2.5 hours. I run the vacuum in the morning, let it charge and run the mop in the afternoon. At first the mop did not put out very much water and I was unhappy but after it ran a few times the water started flowing adequately. Not sure what that's about. The mopping is really more of a dusting which is why I run it daily to keep things as nice as possible. The LIDR is supposed to detect low furniture and lower the LIDR cover to go underneath. The first time I ran the robot it went under a cabinet and sheered the cover right off requiring a repair (boo). Vacuum performance seems to be good. As you noted, my waste tank is very dirty (surprisingly) and it SMELLS. I started squirting a little soap in the bottom when it's empty to offset this.
Just get a Roborock they are the best. The app software is excellent. Customer service is great. I have the Qrevo Curv 2 flow and it kicks ass. 2 big dogs and hardwood floors. Just fill up the water tanks, empty once a week and do a manual clean of the components from time to time.
I don't have that problem at all
I can't believe people in the comments have negative things to say about this robot. I have this one and I find that it's amazing. My floors have never been cleaner. There are no streaks and I barely have to do any maintenance on it at all.
Yeah if it’s overpriced that’s one thing. But it’s pretty reasonably priced where I am in my opinion
I also have the Curve 2 Flow and don't really feel I needed the extended side brush. I'm okay with Robocok omitting this feature due to the price point. I don't find much value in it, but I also perform a manual deep clean with a regular vacuum once a week to get the spots that the Roborock couldn't. This thing vacuum/mops pretty damn well so I can forgive not having the extended side brush.
Biggest drawback for Roborock curv 2 flow is if you don't manually send it to wash the mop every \~20 minutes, it leaves terrible streaks and stripes all over wooden floors—it's really bad.Coming from the Eufy S1 Pro Omni, this is a huge downgrade. The Eufy automatically washes the mop without any user intervention. Roborock seems to know this issue exists (with the current design and only 8 nozzles), but they didn't address it—the mop simply doesn't get wet enough, even at the highest water flow setting. Really disappointing in that regard

My robot mop performs amazingly for the first \~20 minutes—nice even coverage, no problems—but then the pad dries out completely, even with water flow set to the highest level. This leads to obvious streaks and stripes because it's basically dragging a dry-ish pad across the floor.I have mop wash frequency on 'Smart' in the dock settings, but it doesn't wash often enough to keep things wet. I have to manually switch it to every 20 minutes to avoid the problem—after a forced wash, it goes back to working perfectly again. If it were a detergent/clog/solution issue, I'd expect streaking from the very beginning, not just after 20 mins. Anyone found a better fix than just forcing frequent washes? Is 'Smart' mode known to be too conservative on some models, or could it be something like partially clogged water outlets
Changed to 10 mins interval mop wash resolved the issue
I've got the latest software update installed, and I don't use hard water at all (whole-house water softener). I never had this drying-out issue with my old Eufy S1 Pro—it stayed consistently wet during entire [sessions.In](http://sessions.In) dock settings, I was on 'Smart' for mop wash frequency (now forced to every 20 mins), washing mode on Smart/High temperature, empty mode on Smart, and duration set to Standard. Mop cleaning pattern is along the floor direction, and water flow is at 24 (previously 30—no real difference noticed). Are these the same settings you were using? With 'Smart' wash, the mop pad just dries out after the first \~20 minutes even on high flow, leading to those annoying stripes/streaks. Only forcing a wash every 20 mins keeps it working perfectly without issues.Super frustrating—feels like 'Smart' mode isn't aggressive enough for my setup/flooring. Any other tweaks or workarounds that actually helped?

The Narwal Flow is excellent with great mopping, not enough info out there with Roborocks Flow. Typically roborocks perform really well but they made some questionable design choices with it so who knows.
Practical, the dust bin design for example is terrible
So I’m several weeks into ownership of a Roborock Curv 2 Flow and so far I think it’s the best value for a higher end one. No complaints on performance. The only critique is that it is a little thick so it may not fit under some furniture.
I’ve been pretty happy with the Roborock Curv 2 Flow. Only had it a few weeks but so far it is a big upgrade from our Neato vacs.
No streaking in mine
I sometimes wonder if this is a competitor exaggerating the streaking. The reason I think this is people always talk about the number of jets and the competitor with more jets is better. I think that narrative comes from competition as the average person doesn’t know these details. Also, I can spray my whole vehicle in a fan with a single hose nozzle & my thumb so that # of nozzle argument doesn’t really make sense to me. I have 2 Curv 2’s (one downstairs and liked it so much I bought a second for upstairs) and I haven’t noticed any streaking. Now, they do take a while to set up the settings and such. It’s not just push go out of the box but I assume that’s all Roborocks.
