I have a [QRevo Edge](https://amzn.to/3NoUAA3) and I'm obsessed. I hadn't had robot vacuum since my robotic swiffer thing \~10 years ago, but this thing is amazing. I haven't set it up yet to automate, but the plan is that once I'm outside of a mile radius of my house and my home hasn't been fully cleaned in 3 days, it automatically vacuums and mops the whole place. Some really slick features, and be sure to get some soap that was deliberately designed for RoboRock.

Qrevo Curv S5X downstairs and Qrevo Edge S5A upstairs. Main difference is the docking station shape/color. Otherwise equivalent.

Roborock Qrevo CurvX. Had the Edge S5A for a few weeks I got from Prime day sale, but felt like I should’ve went with one with better threshold clearance and obstacle avoidance. Also getting 10% off on top of the sale price makes it seem perfect for price and features.

I prefer the s8 maxv ultra over the edge (returned the edge) the vacuuming is significantly better on the s8. The mopping is okay compared to the edge. My floors actually seemed worse with dirt after using the edge.

Still... there are a few gems worth looking at, as more expensive models drop under this threshold. If you've got a smaller place, or a place with many floor objects, try a Switchbot. Because they're so small, they can get between chair legs and make a small radius around things. Switchbot just doesn't get enough attention, IMO. Lots of people purchased the K10+ Pro on my recommendation during Prime Day and have posted about how happy they are. The 11 made the tower smaller and improved some other specs, but is mostly the same model. The perfect apartment, studio, or office vac. Performs spectacularly well as a vacuum, particularly given the price and stats, but it is ONLY a vacuum. If you're more concerned about a mop, get the 3i. (its great at both, to be clear, but it has the best mop of the bunch). I really like the 3i brand, they're not new, they've been making robots for other companies for years. The G10 is stripped down from premium models, but it had the same sweeper>roller design that is so effective on the higher end models. If you're looking for a carpet forward model, Eureka is the only legacy vacuum brand that successfully transitioned to robots that work. While no brand has great customer service anymore, there's a benefit to Eureka being US based. That L40 Ultra has dropped from the original price of $1499 to under $500. So many people have been grabbing this model since Prime Day and most of them report being quite happy. The vacuum and mop are both fantastic and the app-easy. This is basically my top pick (3i S10 Ultra) minus the dehumidifier. The P10 still has the great sweep/roller design and gets up debris no other brand can without getting clogged. Get this one if you're concerned about larger debris. The Eureka is better than it should be. I loved the sweeper design, it moved debris off hard floors and carpet very effectively and would be my pick for carpet. A variant of the Qrevo line, with spinning mop heads that extend. The L40S is the best of both worlds. A premium vac, at a not premium price for now. This is the model with the best balance on this list, of vacuum and mop. The CurvX improves on the Curv with higher Pa and better nav. I do think its a better vacuum than mop. The X9 is a better mop than vacuum. but other than getting clogged here and there, was generally a good vacuum, and this is a reasonable price for it. Eureka is the best surprise this year. The J15 line is consistent and reliably performing. Let's start with my favorite robot of all time (a BIG statement). 3i has been making robots for other brands for a while, but the 3i is their first flagship. The S10 Ultra blew me away and became the only robot I've ever kept after testing. It will vacuum anything, without getting stuck or clogged. I mean, giant pieces of mulch. No problem. It cleans water on its own and generates more from the air, so it truly is set it and forget it. Totally autonomous. I've been yapping about it for months, and of everyone who bought it during Prime Day, I'd say people were split, 60/40. Most loved it, but some complained of a musty smell, which makes sense, since the unit is basically a dehumidifier (that's how it generates water). I've had mine for 6 months and don't notice a smell in a very wet state (Oregon), but it seems like something worth noting. So let's talk about the Flow. I tested the Dreame and Narwal roller mops, (and previously, the Eufy roller mops). Everyone is obsessed with roller mops, but the Flow is the first one I recommend. The flow improves on the Freo Z and X by not needing to be refilled constantly, and the vacuum improves over all other Narwal models. the edge and the curv are the same machine, with a different tower design. One is taller, the other wider. Personally, I preferred the curv, but that's all it is, preference. Retractable LIDAR is, FWIW< a very good thing, but if you feel this passionately, go w the edge.

Q revo. Which.... give the stats table might not make sense, but its the most reliable of the three, which i've tested.

I have both a QRevo CurvX and a Qrevo Edge S5A so I think I’m pretty well qualified to advise! I don’t have experience with Dreame, however. I’m in the US and paid $859 for the CurvX (Black Friday) and $480 for the S5A (Christmas Sale fo $600 - $120 in Roborock points they were giving away like candy in December). The price you’re seeing is about $640 USD so pretty close to what I paid before points. The S5A is essentially the CurvX without cameras and with a less fancy dock. I am really impressed with the CurvX and wanted a cheaper vacuum for upstairs with similar features and this fit the bill. No camera roaming around our bedrooms was a nice little benefit, I thought too. Watching both robots, it’s clear the cameras are a significant upgrade in obstacle avoidance. The S5A hits more cords, runs into laundry my kids leave on the floor, pushes my low-profile scale all over the bedroom, and gets caught up more frequently than the CurvX. I previously used a Roomba i7+ in this same space and I’d say their obstacle avoidance is about equal. The S5A does better at not bumping into major furniture for the purposes of navigation (Lidar) but about the same on how it handles low profile things. Overall it’s good for the space I’m using it in and has been an upgrade over the i7 in vacuum performance, reliability, and the ability to do some light mopping. Hard to say on long term reliability given that it’s a relatively new model but I haven’t had issues. If it were my primary robot I’d want something with cameras if I could swing it.

We just got the roborock qrevo edge s5a for $899. Coming from a Roomba s9+ this one is really impressive. Can't tell you if it's the optimal purchase at the price point but I'm happy with it. 

Our one just arrived today but so far so good, we are happy with the results and the build quality. We bought this one having had a s7 maxV for over three years now which has been rock solid with mopping and vacuuming. The s7 has moved upstairs today still going strong. The app is quite good in terms of scheduling, no go zones, mapping etc. Works great with Home Assistant as well.

It'll mop around them. \> will It clean my entire unit?  Sure. Most robots construct a map of your home by scanning it as it drives around. Then you can label and divide the map into rooms/zones. And set schedules to vacuum and/or mop all the rooms or only specific ones.mIf it runs out of battery or water before it finishes the whole unit, it'll go back and recharge/refill and then resume when ready. \> Any suggestions for someone like myself? I would get a unit with a tangle-resistant brush, spinning mop pads, and with a dock which can auto empty the dust bin and auto clean & dry the mop pads with warm water/air. You probably do not need the latest and greatest, e.g. with enhanced AI camera object detection, voice commands, roller mops, and possibly high threshold clearing ability. I ended up going with the Roborock QRevo Edge S5A, which, depending on where you live, can be found right around your budget. (I have had a Roborock S5 Max for 5+ years, and it has been going strong.)

Similar situation. Had a S5 Max for years, ran it daily. Worked fine.  Just switched over to a Edge S5A. Main reasons: The auto emptying of the dust bin, so I would no longer have it clogged at times, and wouldn't have to empty it daily. And the mopping with the auto cleaning. Works great so far.  I didn't get the regular Edge because I didn't need the extra features it added over the S5A variant (camera, voice control, lifting over thresholds). Saved several hundreds that way.

For mopping, I would make sure it has the ability to wash the mop pads with warm water, and dry them with warm/hot air. Otherwise you may well end up with a stinky robot, and/or you need to manually wash & dry the mop pads regularly. I would spend the extra little bit to get e.g. a QRevo Edge S5A.
