"It keeps up with all their hair, just needs more frequent dust bag replacements."

"The pockets of fur from my chihuahua is gone."

"I have a short haired dog and a long-haired roommate, and the Master seems to handle the hair, no problem. While I perform regular maintenance, I do not have to cut (much) hair from the roller. We're talking a few strands, if any."

"Mine is mopping my floor as well speak while I’m out. ... It’s still relatively new to us so it still blows my mind when we come home to a well-mopped home."

"The Qrevo Master keeps the S8 vacuuming module and adds the spinning mops with auto mop cleaning and drying in the dock. This is ideal in my opinion. ... The S8 line has significantly better vacuuming performance than any of the Saros models... They vacuum much, much better! ... Yes, it is specifically on rugs and carpets that the S8 vacuuming module performs so well."

"I've had the s8 pro ultra with the single mop pad and now have the saros 10r with the rotating dual mop pads. The dual mop pads are superior imo. ... You get ... the dual rotating mop pads"

"It also costs slightly more than half as much as a Saros 10R, while providing far superior vacuum cleaning ability. ... This is an excellent compromise in my opinion, and it saves a lot of money. ... The Qrevo Master would have served my needs much better than the Saros 10R does now. I regret my choice."

"My personal choice is the Qrevo Master. Our Saros 10R was a very fancy, very expensive mistake. A Qrevo Master, which costs almost half as much as the Saros 10R would have served my needs much better!"

"For about $800 you get all the benefits of the $1500 models that actually contribute to a cleaner house with only two very small drawbacks. You save $700 and end up with much cleaner floors. ... I think the Roborock Qrevo Master is just about perfect for good house cleaning without all the fancy unnecessary stuff that costs a lot of money and doesn't help much. ... The Roborock Qrevo Master would have served my needs much better than the Saros 10R for half of the cost!"

"I never have to touch the thing unless a tank is full/empty or if the dust bin fills up. ... I just plan to clean the robot out about once a month to remove any build up which already aligns with the sensor cleaning schedule."

"dream to not have to think about vacuuming or mopping anymore ... It’s amazing ... Best purchase ever"

"It’s a mop/vacuum with a warm water wash station that has clean and dirty water containers so it washes the mop heads and continues to mop. ... It’s amazing! One of my favorite purchases ever. ... The dirty water tank is soooo dirty every time, even with just water. ... We have a dog too and she tracks in mud and it works perfectly to clean that up."

"As far as the badly designed dustbin you are spot on. It is also way too small especially for people with pets and or carpets who might want the Master for dual rollers only to be stuck with a dustbin that is simply too small."

"The design of the dust bin is, simply put, bad. ... The dust bin volume can't be fully utilized by the robot, and dust and hair will start spilling out when the bin is at 60-70% full. ... This is because of the position of the air filter which is quite awkward. ... cleanup of large areas that get very dirty (dog owners especially), need to have their robot empty the dustbin every 25-35m² (270-380sqft), even with everyday cleaning schedules. ... The robot has a (I think) 220ml dust bin, but it will start overflowing into the brush compartment way before it fills this space. ... If you examine the contents of the dustbin when it starts overflowing, you will see a space of around 60ml being completely empty, and the robot seems to be unable to utilize it, due to the design of the airflow in the dustbin. ... This makes the QRevo Master dustbin's actual effective capacity quite underwhelming ... I guess this problem particularly affects users with a lot of fur in their houses. ... Fur sticks together quite well, and won't spread out in the bin on its own. It's also light enough to immediately start building up next to the filter. ... Being a pet owner is I think the number one reason to buy a robot vacuum, which should mean that the designers should really start thinking about how to solve this issues. ... Their lab tests probably involve rice, sand, and long human hair, but not the menacing dog hair that we predominantly find in our dustbins."

"I’m just showing how bad it’s avoidance is when it’s a feature they advertise. Never had me roomba j series run into poop. ... It didn’t know the poo it saw a week ago was real thou ): ... My Roomba J9+ avoided diarrhea ... I mean I only did this because it didn’t avoid the real poo lol ... Yep, it’s on pet mode."

"It is a very basic system which has not improved much from when it was released which is a hardware limitation. ... I find the reason you often get mixed reviews has more to do with a lack of understanding of object avoidance which is only designed to pickup and avoid items on the floor that are lower than the lidar on the decklid. ... You can see the Pro (which has the exact same Reactive Tech object avoidance as the old Q Revo and the Qrevo S) can only really avoid the cup which all robots even with no object avoidance are able to do ... If you have pets that have accidents in your house do not rely on a Q Revo to avoid it."

"Obstacle avoidance was something that I thought didn’t matter. It does. ... You shouldn’t have to pick up every damn cord in your house to run a cleaner. And every sock and every towel and every other random thing that’s in a house ... obstacle avoidance will be an immense hassle. ... when the master craps the bed and starts to run into everything and everything you will be thankful you saw this comment."

"Blades are shit. ... Duodivide roller is not on the master. ... Exactly this"

"24 hours and it’s had 4 blockage errors. ... Seems to be just clumping and moving per hair rather than vacuuming."

"Seriously tho, my old eufy L60 clearly and significantly outperforms a brand new Roborock Qrevo MaxV from Costco, in picking up pet hair from carpet and staying tangle-free."
