"For about $800 you get all the benefits of the $1500 models that actually contribute to a cleaner house with only two very small drawbacks. You save $700 and end up with much cleaner floors. ... I think the Roborock Qrevo Master is just about perfect for good house cleaning without all the fancy unnecessary stuff that costs a lot of money and doesn't help much. ... The Roborock Qrevo Master would have served my needs much better than the Saros 10R for half of the cost!"
"My personal choice is the Qrevo Master. Our Saros 10R was a very fancy, very expensive mistake. A Qrevo Master, which costs almost half as much as the Saros 10R would have served my needs much better!"
"It also costs slightly more than half as much as a Saros 10R, while providing far superior vacuum cleaning ability. ... This is an excellent compromise in my opinion, and it saves a lot of money. ... The Qrevo Master would have served my needs much better than the Saros 10R does now. I regret my choice."

"It keeps up with all their hair, just needs more frequent dust bag replacements."
"The pockets of fur from my chihuahua is gone."
"I have a short haired dog and a long-haired roommate, and the Master seems to handle the hair, no problem. While I perform regular maintenance, I do not have to cut (much) hair from the roller. We're talking a few strands, if any."

"It is exceptional at mopping and vacuuming. ... Primarily hard wood/tile floors. ... Our dog eats wet food and makes an absolute mess of it. The vacuum/mop makes it look like the incident never occurred."
"Mine is mopping my floor as well speak while I’m out. ... It’s still relatively new to us so it still blows my mind when we come home to a well-mopped home."
"It has excellent vacuuming and mopping ability ... It vacuums very, very well! ... It has dual rear spinning mops that mop well and are easy for a dock to clean and dry."

"dream to not have to think about vacuuming or mopping anymore ... It’s amazing ... Best purchase ever"
"vacuums, mops, and the base empties mops and dries."
"The time I spend maintaining it is a lot less than what I ’d spend vacuuming and cleaning so it’s no big deal. ... 5 minutes a week is nothing."

"I’m just showing how bad it’s avoidance is when it’s a feature they advertise. Never had me roomba j series run into poop. ... It didn’t know the poo it saw a week ago was real thou ): ... My Roomba J9+ avoided diarrhea ... I mean I only did this because it didn’t avoid the real poo lol ... Yep, it’s on pet mode."
"object avoidance sucks and is no better than a 200€ model ... I would never again spend so much on a robot"
"Obstacle avoidance was something that I thought didn’t matter. It does. ... You shouldn’t have to pick up every damn cord in your house to run a cleaner. And every sock and every towel and every other random thing that’s in a house ... obstacle avoidance will be an immense hassle. ... when the master craps the bed and starts to run into everything and everything you will be thankful you saw this comment."

"The design of the dust bin is, simply put, bad. ... The dust bin volume can't be fully utilized by the robot, and dust and hair will start spilling out when the bin is at 60-70% full. ... This is because of the position of the air filter which is quite awkward. ... cleanup of large areas that get very dirty (dog owners especially), need to have their robot empty the dustbin every 25-35m² (270-380sqft), even with everyday cleaning schedules. ... The robot has a (I think) 220ml dust bin, but it will start overflowing into the brush compartment way before it fills this space. ... If you examine the contents of the dustbin when it starts overflowing, you will see a space of around 60ml being completely empty, and the robot seems to be unable to utilize it, due to the design of the airflow in the dustbin. ... This makes the QRevo Master dustbin's actual effective capacity quite underwhelming ... I guess this problem particularly affects users with a lot of fur in their houses. ... Fur sticks together quite well, and won't spread out in the bin on its own. It's also light enough to immediately start building up next to the filter. ... Being a pet owner is I think the number one reason to buy a robot vacuum, which should mean that the designers should really start thinking about how to solve this issues. ... Their lab tests probably involve rice, sand, and long human hair, but not the menacing dog hair that we predominantly find in our dustbins."

"Blades are shit. ... Duodivide roller is not on the master. ... Exactly this"
"My experience with the master is the same as yours ... Oh and also people have cords in lots of places in the house, places where robots go like behinds beds etc. this is an important issue."
"leaves small clumps of hair on the fuzzy mid-height area rugs we have ... Our best guess is that the hair is hanging up on the mop heads, then getting pulled off them when Rocky starts on the rug. ... So we have to vacuum those after Rocky finishes, which kinda defeats the purpose of a robot vacuum! ... but that includes our manual labor. 😩"

This is the one I have too. Its great. Carry it upstairs too.
r/labrador • I vacuumed yesterday and here I am vacuuming today 🥴 ->I recently purchased a QRevo Master and Pro during Black Friday. I replaced a Roomba J7+. I’m fairly happy with the mopping functionality but the obstacle avoidance is…a fraction as good. I assumed with all the tech and AI it would be better or at most marginally worse. But it’s really night and day. The J7 was excellent at avoiding even the smallest out of place objects, a sock, a cord, etc. I know commenters will say to just keep things off the floor. But I bought these things to vacuum when I’m out of the house. The was great with the j7. Everything just feels clean when you get back. These Roborocks on the other hand will just pick up any loose object and drag it around for 30 minutes. A sock, a shirt, a small box. Also if you happen to be walking around while it’s running the vacuums will bump into your feet repeatedly. I’ve seen some discussion of this, but reviewers like vacuum wars still give these a 4.7 for obstacle avoidance. I would say it’s like a 3 at best. I’ve also seen some discussion of it being better on previous firmware versions. I’m curious if that’s true. I’m hoping I can be optimistic a software update could improve this. It seems like the hardware should be more than capable, but it’s just not stacking up right now
r/Roborock • Qrevo Master/Pro obstacle avoidance is extremely sub par ->I recently got the QRevo Master but only because I got it from Costco so could return it if it did a crap job. So far its doing pretty well. Mopping probably better than I thought it would be (although it's our first vac / mop combo). Carpets don't seem any cleaner than with our other robot vacuum but it was old and confused so its actually doing its job unlike our old one.
r/RobotVacuums • How do I choose which robovac to buy?! ->no. I didn't like it much, even beyond the wheel issue. But also, I don't think they've resolved the wheel issue:) Do you NEED a new robot?
r/RobotVacuums • Prime Day last chance- a few hours left to score PD deals. Are you on the fence? Let's cut through it. ->Q revo. Which.... give the stats table might not make sense, but its the most reliable of the three, which i've tested.
r/RobotVacuums • Comparing three vacuums can’t decide! ->I’ve just got the qrevo master and it has issues with shag pile like this , I think the ai believe it’s an object to avoid so it spins, Ive turned the camera on and it sees long strands so I’m assuming it thinks it’s an obstacle, with avoidance off it actually works , but it still struggles and you can see it get stuck a lot and tug itself free, The side brush gets stuck sometimes too, honestly I love my big fluffy rugs but if I want a robot I’m going to have to replace with shorter piled ones.
r/RobotVacuums • Ist this carpet an issue for modern robot vacuums? ->You just made me buy a Qrevo Master. My gf has long hair too and my s7 is suffering with hairs on brush.
r/Roborock • ROBOROCK Qrevo Master OR DREAME L10s Pro Ultra Heat ->Roborock. I love mine! Qrevo master is the version I got
r/Roborock • Should I Get a Roborock or Another Brand? I’m Lost ->I live with 3 girls with long hair, 3 cats and a Bernese mountain dog so I can relate with this 100%. I have to maintain the robot regularly, releasing hairs from the main roller and extending brush weekly. The time I spend maintaining it is a lot less than what I’d spend vacuuming and cleaning so it’s no big deal. 5 minutes a week is nothing. I do wish the small wheel was removable so I could clean it and free it of hair instead of cutting in and around it but beyond that it’s all good (QRevo master)
r/Roborock • Roborock S7 and long hair – more effort than it’s worth? ->We have a Roborock qrevo master. Depending on your price range most of the qrevo series are quite good and mid price.
r/RobotVacuums • Best robot vac/mop?? ->Same here. We had a wobbly Roborock s5 and a switchbot k10+. Both if those dragged a wipe around and was more hassle then its worth. We upgraded to a Qrevo master and the difference of our hardwood floor and tiles are night and day.
r/RobotVacuums • Can a robot vacuum replace a normal vacuum? ->I'm on my second Roborock (Qrevo Master) and it's been great. Feels like I'm living in the future.
r/RobotVacuums • Which should I choose? Dyson, Roborock, or Shark? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
