"I also have two giant long haired (nonshedding excessively) cats. I shed hair a LOT. Worse than the cats. It works so well."
"It works great with long hair and long haired corgi fur in my home. This is absolutely tangle free in my use and the correct cover can stop hair from going to the sides."
"mopping is BETTER than i do."

"A good robovac is a life changer. Even a $350 basic S8. It is a great place to start. ... I promise you that you will not be disappointed by a basic S8. It will change your life even if it can't fit under every piece of furniture you own. ... My two S8s just finished vacuuming our entire house in about 46 minutes. ... While my floors were being cleaned, I sat comfortably on our patio in the cool shade with a slight breeze and composed my far too long response to you while sipping a diet soda and relaxing. ... I will have to spend about four minutes maintaining my two S8s. This will be my entire contribution to my home floor cleaning effort for today. Four minutes!"
"Like 500$ these robots are currently the steal of the century ... You can get a mova p10 pro ultra (cannot remove its mops), equivalent to the l40/x40 for 500$ after a discount code"
"I got the Q5 Pro for $139. ... costs $450 less than what I paid for the S6 ... it is the best value option out there imo."

"I run the X10 daily on schedules, and it has never been stuck even for once, isnt that amazing? The navigation and obstacle avoidance is truly amazing. It is almost a true set and go experience."
"It also doesn’t bump into stuff, slows down and turns around before running into anything. I am impressed. ... The navigation is night and day between this and J9+, no more bumping or getting lost. ... I think it’s better, it has the front facing camera which looks to be higher resolution, plus the LiDAR does make a huge difference to the speed of navigation, plus it doesn’t bump into furniture or doors anymore."
"The best feature of the L40/X40/p10 pro ultra is that they have class leading object avoidance so you don't have to pick up your cat's toys or prep your house every time you want to run the robot meaning you can run it on a daily schedule which will keep your house cleaner. ... I run my X40s daily and they never get stuck on cables, cat toys and other random junk that ends up on the floor."

"but crucially also set the vacuum to return to the base and clean itself before it cleans anywhere else."
"the q revo series with the spinning mops and auto docks have been amazing for me."
"vacuums, mops, and the base empties mops and dries."

"The flexi arm mop in the qrevo is for sure a game changer"
"Qrevo Pro: adds the flexible mop arm ... I value having the flexible mop arm to get the most coverage possible. ... ultimately it was primarily about the mop arm for me"
"the extended mopping arm on the Qrevo pro is great."

"The design of the dust bin is, simply put, bad. ... The dust bin volume can't be fully utilized by the robot, and dust and hair will start spilling out when the bin is at 60-70% full. ... This is because of the position of the air filter which is quite awkward. ... cleanup of large areas that get very dirty (dog owners especially), need to have their robot empty the dustbin every 25-35m² (270-380sqft), even with everyday cleaning schedules. ... The robot has a (I think) 220ml dust bin, but it will start overflowing into the brush compartment way before it fills this space. ... If you examine the contents of the dustbin when it starts overflowing, you will see a space of around 60ml being completely empty, and the robot seems to be unable to utilize it, due to the design of the airflow in the dustbin. ... This makes the QRevo Master dustbin's actual effective capacity quite underwhelming ... I guess this problem particularly affects users with a lot of fur in their houses. ... Fur sticks together quite well, and won't spread out in the bin on its own. It's also light enough to immediately start building up next to the filter. ... Being a pet owner is I think the number one reason to buy a robot vacuum, which should mean that the designers should really start thinking about how to solve this issues. ... Their lab tests probably involve rice, sand, and long human hair, but not the menacing dog hair that we predominantly find in our dustbins."

"And this even has a flawed design and cannot fill properly."

"sounded like a loud squeaky balloon. ... Every time I shifted weight or switched sides it was loud. ... Even someone walking by looked at me and said “that’s really noisy”."
"The fan that circulates the air is so ridiculous it sounds like an airplane is idling inside my house, and it literally changes the air pressure in my kitchen and hurts my ears"
"It ’s super loud ... Noise at least on hardwood is easily double the qrevo"

"Hair Pickup on carpet is better than the S7 MaxV but still worse than the Neato D7. ... I confirmed this by running the S7 Max V first (with rubber brush), on my upstairs carpeted room - that I purposely haven't vacuumed in a week. S7 Max V barely got anything and had some wrapped around the edges - as it does. ... For me yes but I say that mostly because of the tangle free vacuuming of pet hair and the improved hair pickup on carpets. I was tired of cleaning out the old one and so far with this I have zero tangles. ... The S7 MaxV had the worst hair pickup on carpets, with the stock rubber brush, of all the bots I ever owned. Tangles were minimal but it didn't do well taking hair off the carpets (it did great on the hardwood/tile though). Swapping out the rubber to the bristle brush improved the pickup but increased the tangle problem - it also created a problem with auto-empty for me a few times. ... It mops/vacuums significantly better than my S7 MaxV. Especially on carpets (especially especially pulling dog hair off carpets). ... That being said I LOVE the anti-tangle brush. 3 Months and I haven't had to clean the brush one time. It's literally perfect for me."
"quite frankly, it's sh*t. ... It can't handle pet hair ... but it just doesn't deal with pet hair."
"J8+ barfs hair clumps over one of our rugs ... My J8 leaves hair clumps even when run daily. ... If I run the vacuum every day it’ll do the rug just fine. May leave 1-2 ropes. If I don’t run it every day, there will be more. ... The borders of the rug is where there are always ropes. ... I can run the robot twice and there will be ropes. ... I can run the Dyson then the robot and there will be ropes. ... I can pull the edges up, dyson under the rug, then Dyson the entire top of the rug and the robot runs—guess what I get along the edges? Ropes. ... However in real life my J8 is a fail in this use case. ... J8+ is meh for Pets. ... the j8+ barfs hair clumps all over one of our rugs."

"it's also the only robovac I've ever had that ran over dog poop..."
"my Qrevo Edge was not able to avoid some cables or other things like small pet toys my puppy would bring out at times. ... Once it even ran over a little log (of shit) my puppy left out for it which caused me to have to open it up and clean it out."
"as long as your pets don't poo on the floor and you are willing to keep your charger cords away, it has a quite decent obstacle avoidance."

"The self mopping feature imo is not worth it"
"I have a very drooly dog that leaves spots on the floor and it won't scrub those up, I have to break out a floor cleaner for that."
"If you go that route and have a dog (or kid) that sometimes leaves a mess that would make a bigger mess getting vacuumed, time the scheduled cleanings for after you've been around and had the chance to pick up small stuff and make sure there's no messes."
If you do compare feature on vacum wars web site You can see which has matter Recommend a robo rock qrevo for auto mation Eco vac t50 pro Omni is $600 n does matter n has mop n vac but I dint like the navigation so went back to robo rock qrevo s5a But robo rock is more $. r/HomeKit • Top robot vacuum? Unsure if I want mop capabilities. Must be HomeKit/matter compatible. ->We have a q revo and it’s great
r/homeautomation • Wife says it's time, what's the best robot vacuum? ->I found the obstacle avoidance on the Qrevo series to be pretty disappointing. Switched to Dreame L40 and have been very happy. They almost never grab a cord.
r/homeassistant • What are the best robot vacuums right now ->We have a Roborock Qrevo Pro and it does struggle a bit if there is too much pet hair (we have 3 shibas that sheds like crazy twice a year when they blow their coats). The suction power is only stated to be 7,000 pa and if it sucks in too much pet hair, it jams up inside the vacuum reservoir and doesn't get sucked out when it returns to the base. We also have hardwood floors throughout and just ordered the bObsweep UltraVision from Sam's Club since it is on sale through Nov 30th, marked down from $800 to $269. That one is supposed to be rated at 10,000 pa of suction power. We are planning on using it upstairs to replace a Shark robot vacuum that we've been using for almost 5 years.
r/RobotVacuums • Please! I need a robot vac that can survive pet shedding season ->So I ended up getting the Roborock Qrevo Pro since it was heavily discounted. I bought it from kohls and used my kohl’s cash to get it for a similar price. But, same, would have gone with one of the other two options if it wasn’t on sale.
r/RobotVacuums • Best Robot Vacuum/Mop for under $500 Comparison ->I have the Roborock Qrevo pro. I can tell you that it cleans my 900 sq/ft first floor, hardwood and area area rug perfectly. I have a 35 lbs dog. Every morning, 99% of dirt/hair is vacuumed and hardwood is washed. 10/10, would recommend.
r/RobotVacuums • How do I choose which robovac to buy?! ->Why are robot vacuum model names so confusing? Anyway, I bought the Roborock Q Revo L (Australian model I think?) in the last Amazon sale and it's been lovely. The spinning mop heads actually work better than I expected - they obviously won't pick up everything like stubborn stains but they do a 90% job every time. I have the one with the auto emptying dustbin, auto refilling and auto emptying water tanks, auto mop washing, and it's great - probably the best money I've spent all year. It does tend to get pretty dirty though, and the area where it washes and dries the mops tends to get a bit gunky and needs a good scrub pretty much weekly. Disclaimer: I've never owned a robot vacuum before this, so I could just be wowed by the whole thing in general rather than the specifics of this particular model
r/RobotVacuums • Robot Mop - Costco Black Friday ->For our 1400 sq foot house with 2 cats, the Qrevo pro has been a godsend for us. We run it 6 days a week and our floors are nearly spotless (LVP and a few rugs). Twice a month we do a full vacuum to get into the hard to reach areas the robot can’t access and once a month we do a full manual mop with a bucket. The mop water is rarely dirtier than a light light brown.
r/Roborock • Which Roborocks are the best? ->We have had a roborock for 6 years not. Just upgraded to the qrevo pro for the mopping feature. I don’t think they’re BIFL but 10000000% the best thing I’ve ever purchased. I recommend everyone I know to get one because it saves so much time/effort/sanity.
r/BuyItForLife • robot vacuum with mapping? ->Q revo. Which.... give the stats table might not make sense, but its the most reliable of the three, which i've tested.
r/RobotVacuums • Comparing three vacuums can’t decide! ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
