The cleaning base is what makes them worth it. I have a Roomba for upstairs and recently acquired a Roborock Qrevo Pro to replace the one downstairs. The Roborock is leaps and bounds ahead tech wise and makes my Roomba look stupid. The dustbin in the base is also way larger, so less emptying. Win-win so far.

We have a Roborock Qrevo Pro and it does struggle a bit if there is too much pet hair (we have 3 shibas that sheds like crazy twice a year when they blow their coats). The suction power is only stated to be 7,000 pa and if it sucks in too much pet hair, it jams up inside the vacuum reservoir and doesn't get sucked out when it returns to the base. We also have hardwood floors throughout and just ordered the bObsweep UltraVision from Sam's Club since it is on sale through Nov 30th, marked down from $800 to $269. That one is supposed to be rated at 10,000 pa of suction power. We are planning on using it upstairs to replace a Shark robot vacuum that we've been using for almost 5 years.

So I ended up getting the Roborock Qrevo Pro since it was heavily discounted. I bought it from kohls and used my kohl’s cash to get it for a similar price. But, same, would have gone with one of the other two options if it wasn’t on sale.

I have the Roborock Qrevo pro. I can tell you that it cleans my 900 sq/ft first floor, hardwood and area area rug perfectly. I have a 35 lbs dog. Every morning, 99% of dirt/hair is vacuumed and hardwood is washed. 10/10, would recommend.

For our 1400 sq foot house with 2 cats, the Qrevo pro has been a godsend for us. We run it 6 days a week and our floors are nearly spotless (LVP and a few rugs). Twice a month we do a full vacuum to get into the hard to reach areas the robot can’t access and once a month we do a full manual mop with a bucket. The mop water is rarely dirtier than a light light brown.

I bought a Roborock. Mine is a qrevo pro. I don’t have pets and based on reviews it seemed like a reliable model for the price point

I personally went with one of the models without an RGB camera specifically for this reason. I have a QRevo Pro and it does everything the other options with cameras can do

Can't tell about other models, but Qrevo Pro is a huge disappointment when it comes to pet hair and carpets. Totally useless.

I wasn't expecting it to be like a regular vacuum, I know it can't be. But it isn't able to pick up a single pet hair from low pile carpet. I think "anti tangle" all silicon brush has also a lot to do with it, not just low suction power.
