I think Roborocks are great, and you are likely to get a great robot if you stick w the brand. Buy the best one you can comfortably afford. I really liked the Qrevo line, but they were the MaxV Ultra. The S5V has cut a few features, but for the price is still a great robot.

# [Under $300](https://amzn.to/48R0G4J) Generally speaking, I think its rare you find a great robot at this price, and I've discussed why there's some sense in [not spending the money on real discount robots](https://www.whatrobotvacuumshouldiget.com/2025/06/20/are-budget-robot-vacuums-worth-buying/). Still... there are a few gems worth looking at, as more expensive models drop under this threshold. *If I were buying at this price point, I'd get:* If you're more concerned about a mop, get the 3i. (its great at both, to be clear, but it has the best mop of the bunch). I really like the 3i brand, they're not new, they've been making robots for other companies for years. The G10 is stripped down from premium models, but it had the same sweeper>roller design that is so effective on the higher end models. *If you don't want to go with my top recommendation, I also recommend:* If you've got a smaller place, or a place with many floor objects, try a Switchbot. Because they're so small, they can get between chair legs and make a small radius around things. Switchbot just doesn't get enough attention, IMO. Lots of people purchased the [K10+ Pro](https://lifehacker.com/tech/switchbot-k10-plus-robot-vacuum-review) on my recommendation during Prime Day and have posted about how happy they are. The 11 made the tower smaller and improved some other specs, but is mostly the same model. The perfect apartment, studio, or office vac. Performs spectacularly well as a vacuum, particularly given the price and stats, but it is ONLY a vacuum. I, personally, do not enjoy Eufy models, and on the whole, [did not enjoy the E20](https://lifehacker.com/tech/eufys-e20-robot-vacuum-ces-2025). I thought it was clunky and not particularly great at any of the 3 things it was trying to do, but people in this sub LOVE Eufy, so at this price point, if you're so determined, this is the one I'd get. In a similar vein, if you love Roborock, a brand I usually recommend highly, I usually think you should grab the most expensive one you can afford (with some exceptions). In this case, its the Q10 X5+, which is the least expensive RR model with auto empty. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[SwitchBot Robot Vacuum K11+](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1VV8DEM3PE45Q?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aip_sf_list_spv_s_ons_mixed_d_ZETGMH20VCWTGQZB8K55)|399.99|199.99|50%| |[3i G10+ (Extra 5% off code: G10USAVE5)](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/FVNUE2WZGPL6?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_DHPS311DEF2TY465HP1G_2)|449.99|229.99|49%| |[eufy Robot Vacuum 3-in-1 E20](https://amzn.to/4oi284o)|449.99|297.49|34%| |[Roborock Q10 X5+](https://amzn.to/4pDZjfb)|499.99|299.99|40%| # [Under $500](https://amzn.to/4o4MPMA) *If I were buying at this price point, I'd get:* The [Eureka J15 Ultra](https://lifehacker.com/tech/eurekas-j15-pro-ultra-robot-vacuum-mop-review) is better than it should be. I loved the sweeper design, it moved debris off hard floors and carpet very effectively and would be my pick for carpet. Rarely got stuck on anything or reported errors, and it was just really reliable. I recommended this model during Prime Day, and got a lot of good feedback from folks who picked it up. *If you don't want to go with my top recommendation, I also recommend:* The Dreame L40 Ultra is a great deal at half off, and I thought it did a great job getting into spaces, but wasn't great at mapping originally when[ I tested it](https://lifehacker.com/tech/dreame-l40-ultra-robot-vacuum-review). But it was a damn good vacuum, and a pretttty ok mop. if you find that take disappointing, at this price point, you're still asking a lot of a robot, so set expectations appropriately. I mention the Ecovacs T30S for the same reason as the Eufy 3-in-1. Altho I found it a bit of a pain to put away attachments each time you wanted to use the handheld, I can see the advantage of having a combo unit instead of separate stick and robot. And, [in my review](https://lifehacker.com/tech/ecovacs-deebot-t30s-combo-review), I did think both did a relatively good job, and the sale on this unit is hard to ignore. *If you're determined to get a Eufy:* Get the X10 Pro Omni. it was the first Eufy in a while [I didn't hate](https://lifehacker.com/tech/eufy-x10-pro-omni-review), it was actually pretty decent. Its a lot more decent at this price point. *If you're determined to get a Roborock:* I liked the Qrevo line, altho I prefer the S8/Saros line for their mops. While the tech feels a little outdated to me, the S5V has a few little upgrades to the suction and the roller design that make it worthwhile at this price. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Eureka J15 Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1E209CQWY09EI?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_34VHK3G8D2127CHKQD4K_6)|699.99|489.99|30%| |[Dreame L40 Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1I876TQNP7R2I?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_34VHK3G8D2127CHKQD4K_4)|849.99|419.99|50%| |[Ecovacs T30S COMBO](https://amzn.to/4pxNCqa)|1199.99|449.99|63%| |[Roborock Qrevo S5V](https://amzn.to/48CuYYw)|899.99|499.99|44%| |[eufy X10 Pro Omni, black](https://amzn.to/4pTFKAp)|899.99|499.99|44%| # [Under $750](https://amzn.to/4nypaUV) At this price point, you are going to get some previous flagship, high end models that its reasonable to have high expectations of. *If I were buying at this price point, I'd get:* the 3i P10 Ultra. For a machine that does everything this does, as well as it does? This is the actual steal at this price point. It feels like a new brand, but its not, remember 3i has been making everyone else's robots for years. I'm so impressed w this model line, and I'm not the only one. Google around. *If you don't want to go with my top recommendation, I also recommend:* As a flagship, I thought the Ecovacs X9 Pro Omni [could do better](https://lifehacker.com/tech/ecovacs-deebot-x9-pro-omni-review) with large debris, but overall, was still impressed. What sticks out to me is how good looking it was. But with the price dropped to $700, I'm comfortable recommending it. The extending roller mop was my first to try, and I thought it did a good job as it reached to the wall and under toekicks. *If you're determined to get a Eufy:* I guess the S1 Pro? People in this sub love this model, [I did not](https://lifehacker.com/tech/eufy-omni-s1-pro-robot-vacuum-review), but it wasn't the worst. ::shrug:: *If you're determined to get a Roborock:* This time last year, I thought the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra was the [best unit on the market](https://lifehacker.com/tech/roborock-s8-maxv-ultra-review). A year changes a lot, because there have been so many advancements, but do not mistake that this is still a spectacular vacuum. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[3i P10 Ultra (Extra 5% off code: P10USAVE5)](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/266IAZ1CMQ9SB?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_DHPS311DEF2TY465HP1G_1)|1099.9|650|59%| |[eufy Robot Vacuum Omni S1 Pro, Black](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1KPAGDZB7O3NR?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aip_sf_list_spv_s_ons_mixed_d_B8MRYW3W9PVQCC6T59VF)|1499.99|699.99|53%| |[Ecovacs X9 PRO OMNI](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/2I911B3GQ74BQ?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_DHPS311DEF2TY465HP1G_4)|1299.99|699.99|46%| |[roborock S8 MaxV Ultra](https://amzn.to/43QFGrG)|1899.99|749.99|58%| # [Under $900](https://amzn.to/4oad9oS) *If I were buying at this price point, I'd get:* I talk about it so much that people here think I'm a paid shill (I'm not) but my dream machine is the [3i S10 Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/30BOBXMFSK3WK?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_DHPS311DEF2TY465HP1G). It has the largest sweeps I've seen, and eats the biggest debris I've seen in a robot, all without getting clogged. It's the best roller mop I've tried (I tried the narwal and the dreame). And.... it has onboard sanitizing and makes its own water so you never have to change out the dirty water or refill it. [Here was my review](https://lifehacker.com/tech/3i-s10-ultra-robot-vacuum-mop-review). Now, that's the good stuff. It also weighs like 50 lbs. It looks like an exhibit at a kids science museum. Some people on here have said it smells mildewy (I haven't experienced that but it makes sense, it IS a dehumidifier, that's how it makes water). You can search for people's impressions and other reviews besides mine, but that's my #1 recco. *If you don't want to go with my top recommendation, I also recommend:* The Dreame L50 Ultra has a noticeable discount, and has many of the charms [I admired in the X50](https://lifehacker.com/tech/dreame-x50-ultra-robot-vacuum-review), like some threshold climbing, some major suction, and hot water cleaning. *If you're determined to get a Roborock:* In this price bracket are both the Roborock Slim, the Qrevo and the CurvX. Here's why I ultimately say, go with the CurvX. With the retracting LIDAR, you're still getting a pretty slim robot (though, of course, not AS slim as the Slim), and for $50 more the Curv/Slim, get the CurvX, which has more suction, hot water washing, etc |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Dreame L50 Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1H34OZE61D1JV?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_34VHK3G8D2127CHKQD4K_3)|1399.99|849.99|39%| |[Roborock Qrevo CurvX](https://amzn.to/48d8bm9)|1499.99|849.99|43%| |[3i S10 Ultra (Extra 5% off code: S10USAVE5)](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/30BOBXMFSK3WK?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_DHPS311DEF2TY465HP1G)|1299.9|899.99|31%| # [Over $900](https://amzn.to/48OKBMY) This is where all the heavy hitters fell. My friend K says that the reason I'm trustworthy is that I'm always telling him to not buy things. So let me start here with what I'm NOT recommending, because you'll ask. I know everyone is excited about the Dreame Aqua and the Narwal Flow, but I think there are better roller mops out there, and I didn't feel either was significantly better than similarly priced non roller mops (the 3i S10). I really didn't love the Aqua, it leaked. The Flow was better. But not better than my picks in this category. The Saros Z70 is a fantastical concept I got super excited about, but wasn't great in practice. I haven't tested the X11, so that's my only reason I'm not recommending it. So what I DO recommend: The two models below are both excellent vacuums, mops and all around robots. They are highly comparable and while you could make yourself crazy comparing, stop. You'll be delighted with EITHER. I promise. These are great sale prices. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Dreame X50 ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1H34OZE61D1JV?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_34VHK3G8D2127CHKQD4K_1)|1699.99|999.99|41%| |[Roborock Saros 10R](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/3QN77VNVN022D?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aip_sf_list_spv_s_ons_mixed_d_3GVYP91HJC73QH3A2XK1)|1599.99|999.99|34%| If you're looking for ALL the models on sale for Black Friday, they're [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1p2d4qy). I've been testing and reviewing robovacs (and other smart home products) for a few years. I test products in my home, rather than an obstacle course, but I am the only one who tests each machine, so its apples to apples. I also have a messy house- pitted tile, rugs, wood floors, and carpet, with a few high transitions. I have a dog (and occasionally, chickens who breach the doggie door to come inside) and am a very physical cook, according to my kitchen floor. You definitely do not have to agree with my choices, but I think I have a different viewpoint than a lot of other outlets, mostly because I am the person responsible for cleaning my home, and I make all buying decisions. I want robots to be the accessibility and labor removing dream of the future, but I like to set realistic expectations. **Under $200** Cheap robots are getting better, and one of my absolute favorites is in this category. But generally speaking, these are vacuums. Yes, they come with mops, but those mops suck. Ignore them and enjoy a cheap, usually pretty good vacuum for the price. Pay attention, because at this price point, some models don't come with towers, meaning you have to empty them yourself, every day or so (unless you live in a VERY clean home). The SwitchBot is tiny. Its like a little M&M moving around your floor, but one that comes with ridiculously high suction power for the price, and a tower. It can get into spaces no other bot can, and it does it shockingly well. Its good on carpet, but shines on hard floors. If you've got carpet, go with the Eureka- its got a dock AND its bagless (which is a big deal to some people). But Eureka has just really figured out how to get a robot to deal with carpet well. I am also a big fan of the 3i G10. I included the Roborock, because look at that price drop, and RR's are, IMO, very reliable. Again... all three of these models have mops. They suck. Don't use them. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Roborock Q8 Max black](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/3JOR6YW9B5G7Y?ref_=aipsflist)|$599.99|$169.99|72%| |[Eureka E20 Robot Vacuum](https://amzn.to/40S3qde)|$309.00|$176.99|43%| |[SwitchBot Robot Vacuum K11+](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1VV8DEM3PE45Q?ref_=aipsflist)|$399.99|$199.99|50%| **Under $350** Its not even close here. That Dreame L10s was a flagship model, with the features to match. While this particular drop isn't high, this was once an over 1000$ model. Its got a great mop, (spinning pads, no rollers in this price band), sanitizes the pads in the tower, high suction, great nav. I've included the Eureka, even with a not great discount, because if you have a LOT of carpet, you might want to consider it instead. The Eufy in this price band and the Roborocks all have dramatically less features, they're budget robots. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Eureka E20 Evo Plus](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/3B7PW181H2UKM?ref_=aipsflist)|$299.99|$249.99|17%| |[Dreame L10s Pro Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1F74O472G0T4G?ref_=aipsflist)|$449.99|$349.98|22%| **Under $500** On features alone, the L40 is the best buy. Outrageous suction, hot water wash, it has a cutter for long hair, etc. BUT.... that Qrevo, despite having less than half the suction of the L40, is better at vacuuming on hard floors and carpet. two reasons: Roborocks are good at positioning the sweep/rollers/suction in a way that works, and also, having a dual roller rather than one helps keep tangles from happening, the extending arm helps a lot to grab under things. I've included the S1, a robot I could not have been less enthused about when [I tested it](https://lifehacker.com/tech/eufy-omni-s1-pro-robot-vacuum-review), because people love Eufys (I don't) and they love a roller mop. This is the cheapest one available. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/2FZ74K5V0W0ZT?ref_=aipsflist)|$649.99|$399.99|38%| |[Eufy S1](https://amazn.so/iVBNAFI)|$1,299.99|$499.99|62%| |[Roborock Qrevo S5V](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/24B0YJFIE6TTB?ref_=aipsflist)|$899.99|$499.99|44%| **Under $750** I'm not ashamed to say my flabber was gasted by how competent the Yeedi S16 is. It managed to get the kitchen sparkle-clean after a full day of canning where the floor was a mess. It got debris easily, navigated complicated layouts and did a great job mopping. It had issues with bathmats, but all robots do. The X9 was a far [better mop than vacuum](https://lifehacker.com/tech/ecovacs-deebot-x9-pro-omni-review) when I tested it as a flagship, but at this lower price, I have few complaints. Its a gorgeous robot and tower, and its a roller mop and people are convinced they're better (I'm iffy, but that's neither here nor there). Finally, I could not let you pass on the J15, which I love as a deep cleaning vacuum with a good mop, but its definitely vacuum forward (and I mean on hard floors, too). The Eurekas have a very well designed triad of big sweep, roller and suction that gets a lot of debris, but more importantly, there's a razor that cuts long hair so it doesn't clog. I'm a fangirl, for sure. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Yeedi S16 Plus](https://amazn.so/syHBN9e)|$899.99|$649.99|28%| |[ECOVACS DEEBOT X9 PRO OMNI](https://amazn.so/mT8uLzT)|$1,299.99|$679.00|48%| |[Eureka J15 Pro Ultra](https://amzn.to/4t0faGm)|$999.99|$699.99|30%| **Under $1000** The hill I will die on is that the 3i S10 Ultra is the best robovac, ever. It has it all: Gigantic sweeps which get everything, rollers that never clog, suction that actually picks everything off the floor. A roller mop that works really well. But... sit down. The damn thing sanitizes dirty water and then makes new water by acting as a dehumidifier. *You never change the water.* Like, ever. Sure, it weighs like 70lbs and looks like a kids science museum exhibit, but its quiet and perfect and the child I always wanted :) There have been rumors of 3i's demise, a complicated story involving their company buying iRobot. But.. I have spoken to 3i and they assure me there is absolutely no news about them closing the 3i brand. And, this is is a good price for it (it was $1899 last year). But... if you're gunshy on a "new" brand.... I can make things easy. People are always trying to decide between the Dreame X50 and the Roborock Saros 10/10r. Get the Dreame (its such a steal at this price, and I didn't see a big difference between the X50 and X60 in testing). They try to decide between the Narwal Flow and the Dreame Aqua. Get the Flow (the Aqua leaked). And then, I have to always remind people how freaking awesome the Eureka J15 line is at vacuuming. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[3i S10 Ultra](https://amazn.so/jEfBGlZ)|$999.99|$799.99|20%| |[DREAME X50 Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/2TBXG31JJKDAZ?ref_=aipsflist)|$1,599.99|$849.99|47%| |[Narwal Flow](https://amazn.so/C7hNQxp)|$1,499.99|$899.99|40%| |[Eureka J15 Max Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/ZVLS0BAELRF2?ref_=aipsflist)|$1,199.99|$899.99|25%| **Over $1000** A testament to how robot prices are coming down, I don't think you should spend more than $1000 right now. There's nothing in that band that I think is a great buy or necessary. If you love to tinker or have a kid that does, there's a good price on the Saros Z70, but its for tinkering. I didn't love it at cleaning, and its an expensive tinker toy. I'm testing the Saros 20 right now, so nothing to report yet. And I don't think anything else in that band stands out. Spend less. **Some notes on recommendations** Whenever I do this, the comments often ask, "but what about the xxxxxx?" or "why didn't you recommend the xxxx?". The answers are, in this order, "it wasn't as good as what I recommended", and "because I didn't want to" :P If you still want to buy something I didn't recommend, go for it! For instance, I am not recommending any iRobots right now. I'm happy they were acquired and really excited at what Picea (which owns 3i) may bring to the brand. But the existing lineup sucks. I'm iffy on Ecovacs, and at certain price points they're worth recommending, but I've never found a flagship I thought was great. People love Eufy bots, but I've rarely been impressed. Still, one made the list. I based this list on what was for sale, not every robot available. I think these are good buys and I think you should buy them from Amazon or Costco. Costco, if you can, because of their return policy, and Amazon because they hassle you less on returns than the brands themselves, do, a real swing and a miss for the brands, IMO. I know you said you don't need mopping, but I'm loving my Roborock Qrevo S5V so far. It's the cheapest model with the "DuoDivide" brush rollers, from what I understand, and it's been amazing for my carpets. Medium pile, beige carpets with a golden retriever and a German Shedder. I've only had to clear one small clump of hair from the roller in over a week of daily usage. I really think the split roller is the way to go for pet hair!

If you do decide to go for that model, I'd keep an eye on Amazon for the next time it's on a good sale. I just got mine for $600 and I know it went up again. Best of luck with your decision; there's sooooo many models out there it's almost impossible to choose!

My Qrevo s5v does all of that. It was recently on sale on Amazon.

I just bought the Roborock Qrevo S5V robot vacuum and mop for $599 on Amazon. I don’t have wood floors yet, so I set it to carpet-only mode. The LiDAR works great—its mapping process is very impressive. I had no idea it emptied debris into a bagging system, so I was quite impressed when it returned to its dock and announced, “Emptying dust bin.” It’s a very clever design, with large, easy-to-remove fresh water and gray water containers. I purchased the white version. I’ve always had black robot vacuums and hated how much dust showed on them. I’ve previously owned about three different Roomba vacuums, and the last one I had was a Eufy

I recently purchased the Roborock Qrevo S5V Robot Vacuum and Mop, and I’m seriously impressed 🤖✨ I started many years ago with the first-generation Roomba from iRobot—no app, no smart features, just roaming around the house cleaning 🌀. Over the years, I went through three generations of Roomba vacuums. Eventually, I switched from Roomba to the Eufy 8X with LiDAR from Eufy because I got tired of Roomba needing light to navigate 💡. Unfortunately, my Eufy 8X started having navigation issues, and I noticed it was never added to the new Eufy app. To me, that felt like it was abandoned 😕—so that’s when I decided to try the Roborock Qrevo S5V from Roborock. Now, I don’t have wood floors yet, but I’m very impressed with this vacuum. It cost me $599 💰, and I currently have it set to vacuum only. It does a fantastic job—you can literally see the cleaning path in the carpet 👀🧹. It also has huge clean-water and gray-water bins, and the app is beautiful and well designed 📱✨. I can’t really recommend the mop feature yet 😂 because I don’t use it for mopping. One thing I absolutely love is the built-in dust bin emptying system 🗑️🙌. My old Roomba would warn me when the bin was full, but my Eufy 8X would just lose suction if I forgot to empty it 🤦‍♂️. So I’d definitely say this: whatever robot vacuum/mop you choose, make sure it has a feature that automatically empties the dust bin into a bag. It’s 100% worth it as a feature 💯🔥

I just purchased roborock Qrevo S5V Robot Vacuum and Mop it has waste bin storage bin bag sucks out the robot dustbin when done vacuuming It uses LiDAR like the rest and has good obstacle avoidance. I do walk through my home picking up anything loose regardless of its built in avoidance system. I enjoy listening to it suck the dustbin clean at the end never had that in my other robot vacuums. I don’t have wood floors and it has huge clean and gray water tanks. It’s on the expensive end of $599 on Amazon I got the white one because I hated looking at the dust on my previous black robot vacuums The Roborock app is very well done same with the mapping features I’ve only had it a short while but am very content

Love my Roborock Qrevo S5V robot vacuum and mop. I have two cats, so I don’t use a scheduled cleaning time because they sometimes puke. I do a perimeter check every time before I run it and pick up their toys or anything that might get in the way. I also use the official Roborock floor cleaning solution. I’ve owned a few Roomba vacuums and one Eufy before purchasing the Roborock.

Qrevo 5AE or S5V is the one. Don't expect proper obstacle avoidance, otherwise great.

You’ll like the qrevo s5v better or the qv35a. They have the dual spin mops instead of just the one pad gets push with no scrubbing action. These two are often on sale.
