I’ve been using the QV35A and it’s honestly been great. The cleaning’s been reliable, the mops lift on carpet, and the dock takes care of most of the dirty work. For the price, it really feels like one of the best entry-level options right now.
r/Roborock • QV35A, S5V, S5A, or other model? ->I got a l40 for prime day and the mapping software is just terrible even compared to my old q7 max+ so I'm returning it and getting a QV35A instead.
r/RobotVacuums • I heard from several people that Roborocks frequently malfunction. Is it the brand or just robot vacuums in general ? Is Dreame a more reliable brand? ->I got the Roborock QV 35A and I’m super happy with my purchase.
r/RobotVacuums • Making a decision is so hard! ->I just purchased the QV35a. QV35a has 8,000 pa. The current cost of the QV35a on amazon is significantly cheaper than the QV35s that the extra 2,000pa wasn't that big of a concern for me.
r/Roborock • All three cost the same — which robot vacuum is actually worth it? ->You might want to check out a few Roborock models that fall in your price range. I’ve been using the QV35A and it’s been solid. It handles my long-pile carpet really well, always comes out clean.
r/RobotVacuums • Any better options than Eufy c20? ->I'd recommend QV 35A too cuz it the suction is pretty solid. Not sure if u have pets, but it picks up my cat's hair from the carpet really well.
r/RobotVacuums • Any better options than Eufy c20? ->Roborock QV 35A. It supports the features you want. The only downside is that the mop drying is using cold air instead of hot air but it’s not really a problem. It is compatible with Matter so it integrate when with most smart home platforms (Apple Home for example) It is also compatible with Home Assistant with the Roborock integration. And it will be on sales next week for the Roborock anniversary ($399/399€)
r/Roborock • Looking for a robot Vacuum + mop With auto-empty & auto-refill ->Hello! I completely get you! If you havent owned a robovac I would suggest going for known brands like Eufy or Roborock. I have used both and have 2 pets. Recommendations: 1) Eufy L60: https://amzn.to/3GjRaLw ; it is recommended due to hair detangling tech and surely works on Pet hair! I have tried it myself and a bonus is that it can empty. It is aroun 550 dollars at the min. It has a smaller setup but suction is not that high so if you have a cat or pet with smaller hair it can get tough to pick up at times. 2) Roborock QV: https://amzn.to/3EEIij1 higher suction and for a roborock very well in the price for 499 dollars for prime members. I recommend roborock due to its suction and the availability of spare parts (other companies make) which are cheap and you can replace brushes etc pretty easily if you dont want to detangle at a later stage. Love their app as well! It's a plus that it has a mop, do note that the cleaning can be a bit noisy and if your pet gets scared easily then might not be great but overall highly recommend the roborock brand. I have tried 2 of these and they last long!

r/RobotVacuums • Best vacuum for apartment with pets? ->Roborock has been my goto for over 8 years now; tried many of them; also had a Eufy but reliability wise my experience has been good with Roborock.Right now I am using from one of their qrevo series and I am quite happy with it: [https://amzn.to/43xTckh](https://amzn.to/43xTckh) I got my parents the Qrevo which is an older model but works! [https://amzn.to/4mRj02c](https://amzn.to/4mRj02c)
r/RobotVacuums • What is the most reliable robot vacuum? ->So based on your needs roborock.qrevo series might be a good fit. I have a Qrevo and has auto empty dock and great with.pet hair due to anti tangle feature Also I have a baby at home and Roborock parts are easy to get so sometimes rather than cleaning them out I just replace them when I don't have time and that might be helpful for the household as you can replace them when you are there and it reduces maintenance Another option with no mop is Eufy , the parts are ok to find and good for pet hair So here are some or the recommendations: 1) https://amzn.to/4dDP1a1 Qrevo series; great for hair. Coat 599 2) https://amzn.to/4dNIDNp Roborock qrevo plus: 599 3) https://amzn.to/4dEAYRA Eufy 60; this is a good starting point if you want to test and dont need a mop. May need some more maintenance but overall good and worth the cost To your point of silent, auto empty docks are not that silent in general so I suggest you check some videos to gauge the noise and if it's acceptable for you. There are different vaccum settings which reduces noise but that's about it, auto empty docks do make noise a little though
r/RobotVacuums • Help me pick one please for two disabled women ->Check out qrevo series which has anti tangle and mop as well and great for pets: [https://amzn.to/44qJrVP](https://amzn.to/44qJrVP) I have a golden retriever that shed and loved bringing in dirt from outside. I am a heavy user and this has lasted me 7 months now and still going strong. Plus its great that roborock most parts are very easily available by other companies so I just change parts than cleaning out if needed
r/RobotVacuums • Budget friendly, pet hair vacuum? ->So I have 2 dogs, both shed a lot and get a lot of mud from our yard and generally where I live is quite rainy so all after the rain the dogs do get the floor dirty Because of this I absolutely needed a mop and of course vaccum for hair and carpet as well. I agree; roborock Qrevo series is pretty good; https://amzn.to/4dDP1a1 By the time I clean them after their mud fiasco the roborock is able to mop off mud and wet dirt off the floor. I can also just clean a small area that has dirt and get the robovac to the dock again and all this with the app which is super helpful. I also block some high wire areas in the app so I am guessing you can do so for your carpet if needed. I prefer it's self cleaning as it helps me use the mop or vacuum twice a day if needed too and then I just empty it out when full. Generally I am a heavy user and with that I empty the dock station every 3 days. Another reason why I choose Roborock for my main area is because with dogs, sometimes you need to replace parts ( is m too lazy to untangle if need be) so I just replace the parts and many companies make Roborock parts and are cheap so thats a plus. I have also used EUFY l60: https://amzn.to/4kfWGgN for my top floors but the dogs don't come there often but there is enough hair in the house to be picked up and the L60 works fine there which is vaccum only.

r/RobotVacuums • How do I choose which robovac to buy?! ->So I have 2 dogs, both shed a lot and get a lot of mud from our yard and generally where I live is quite rainy so all after the rain the dogs do get the floor dirty Because of this I absolutely needed a mop and of course vaccum for hair and carpet as well. r/RobotVacuums • Which is the best vacuum+mop robot as of July 2025 (budget of around $1300/£1000)? ->I’ve recent bought Roborock qv35a. Love it 😍. Have no complaints yet so far.
r/RobotVacuums • Help me pick my next robot vacuum! ->QV 35A Is crap. I had it and returned it asap. It has cold air drying which takes 6+ hours MINIMAL. I loathe the noise so returned it. Go for the S5V. I just bought the S5A myself. I hate the new naming scheme lol.
r/Roborock • Trying to decide on which Q Revo? ->I purchased the same QV35A model and feel similarly. So far it just works with up to date tech. A few bells and whistles are omitted but for the cost difference I'm totally happy with my decision. The main thing is that the general operation and navigation are rock solid. From everything I'm seeing these latest models are better in this regard than some of the highest end models say 2-3 years ago.
r/Roborock • QV35A, S5V, S5A, or other model? ->If they all cost the same, go for the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2. It has the highest suction at 10,000 Pa (higher than the Roborock QV35s at 8,000 Pa and the QV35a at 7,000 Pa), an excellent dual mop system with auto-wash and dry, AI obstacle avoidance, and one of the best mopping systems available. The Roborock QV35s is still a fantastic option, with strong 8,000 Pa suction, Roborock’s superb app, reliable dual mop system, and great mapping. If you prefer Roborock’s ecosystem or app design, it’s a great pick — just know it has slightly less suction than the Dreame. The QV35a is essentially a QV35s with 7,000 Pa suction. It’s only worth it if it’s meaningfully cheaper. The Q Revo Plus is older, with 5,500 Pa suction and fewer advanced features, so it’s a step behind these newer models.
r/Roborock • All three cost the same — which robot vacuum is actually worth it? ->The dreame and MOVA are compatible with the TriCut/CleanChop brush which I found to work well with long hair (also below shoulder length) and my long haired corgi. The roborock qv35 only has a rubber brush which is generally resistant against tangles but you’ll have to take care of the hairs that collect at the end of the brush which is easily removable since they have easily removable brush ends.
r/RobotVacuums • Roborock QV35 vs dreame L40 vs Mova P10 if don’t want my hair to clog it up? ->QV35S if vacuuming is your priority. Qrevo Pro if mopping is your priority. If you have mostly hard floor, or maybe some uncomplicated short piled carpet as well, I'd propose the Pro for better mopping. If you have large carpet area with a bit longer pile, or if you have shedding pets with lots of hair or long hair, I'd probably choose the QV.
r/Roborock • QV 35S or Q Revo Pro? ->For crevices, you need a robot with a bristle main brush. Dreame L series and Mova usually use rubber brushes, which, according to reviewers on YT, don't pick up dust in crevices well unlike bristle ones. Some Roborock model like Q5 Pro, Q8 Max, Qrevo S, and QV35A/S also uses a similar brush. I think if you don't mind with prices, E28 or E25 is a good candidate because its roller mop is superior. Roborock also has a new lineup called S5A which is the cheaper version of Qrevo Edge. Now it's $899 on Amazon. S5A uses a similar Duo Divide split brush as in Qrevo Edge and Eufy E28, a self-empty station, and obstacle avoidance but only using structured light without a live camera.
r/RobotVacuums • I just want the best robo vac available and the research is killing me ->Both Ecovacs and iRobot are having issues these days with quality control with both hardware and software. In iRobot's case, this is part of a systemic issue with the company that could result in its failure. For Ecovacs, I don't know of any reason for its downward slide. Reputation-wise, Roborock is the leader right now for "just does what it says on the box with minimum hassle". They seem to have fewer quality issues (from my non-scientific observations of user reports), and their app and navigation are always rated at or near the top. For what you've described, I'd take a close look at the Qrevo series or the QV series. Prices range these days between about $600 and $1500 USD. There's a good buyer's guide [here](https://vacuumwars.com/ultimate-roborock-breakdown-2025-buyer-guide/) for Roborock products. I didn't see anything in your post that told me you need much more than the cheapest option, which would be the Qrevo S according to current Amazon prices. But definitely check the deals you can get. If you're a Costco member, Roborock sells some special-brand versions of their regular robots which might be worth considering as well. I'll also mention Mova, the budget/experimental brand of Dreame. They've been doing well in the budget category, delivering a lot of value for money. I will warn you, though, that they're a new brand, and don't seem to be quite on par with Roborock in terms of "just works" capability. But if you can't find a Roborock that looks good to you, that would be a potential alternative. Good luck!
r/RobotVacuums • Robot Vacuum/ Mop Recommendations ->So an unknown brand just came out with a fairly pedestrian robot with stationary-pad mopping, and it has a higher rating than some of the highest-regarded robots on the market? Nope. If you really need mopping on a budget, take a look at the Dreame D10+, Eufy L60 Hybrid, or one of the Roborock Q series robots. For a big improvement in mopping for not much more money, look at the Eufy C20 or Dreame L10s Ultra series. Mova can be good, if they've solved their problem with fragile front wheels. If you don't care about mopping, look at the Eufy L60 SES or SwitchBot K10+.
r/RobotVacuums • Airzeen Q10 Pro Saug - Fake Reviews? ->I have a Roborock q revo with mop and auto washing/ auto empty base station. I was skeptical about the mopping functionality but my wife talked me into it. I fucking love it. haven’t touched the floors in over a year except vacuuming behind doors every couple weeks.
r/homeautomation • Can robot vacuum truly deep clean your home? ->Thirding roborock. Love mine. I splurged on the self emptying model….totally worth it.
r/CleaningTips • Which robot vacuum is really GOOD at handling PET HAIR? ->We have two shedding dogs and we love our Roborocks. The first one, while it was fantastic filled kinda quickly (not their fault, our dogs shed A LOT) so it was a minor inconvenience to empty it halfway through it's cleaning 2700sqft. My brother became disabled so I gave him that one for his apartment. He loves it and his helper can empty it and help him with harder care items so it saves him money (he was initially being charged an hour every day for vacuuming, now he's not). The second one I got was self emptying so it can continue all by itself and I really appreciate it. I only have to empty the main basin once a week and that's it. Super convenient and does a fantastic job cleaning. I used to vacuum at least twice a day to stay on top of the hair. Now I do a "deep" vacuum once a week- baseboards, under carpets, etc. Roborock gave me hours of my life back and that's not an exaggeration.
r/CleaningTips • What's the best robot vacuum for pet hair widely loved and highly recommended by Homeowners today? ->Get a self emptying Roborock one. Roombas are crap that are basically all about their name now. You will have to clean the fur out of some spots on it at times, but if you run it every day it will keep most of it out of the way.
r/husky • Best robot vacuum...for all the hair? ->+1 for Roborock, the q revo series with the spinning mops and auto docks have been amazing for me. There have a few different models so I'd compare them all but we have the slim and the master and love them both. They often go on sale - I got each of them for 1k or less. I had the s7+ and the mopping was disappointing. I'd avoid any simple dragging mops.
r/homeautomation • Wife says it's time, what's the best robot vacuum? ->Second this. Is it under $500 though? I paid $1200 when it was new...
r/homeassistant • Robot Vacuums Under $500: Are They Worth It ->Sheesh, I got robbed lmao I love mine though, so no complaints
r/homeassistant • Robot Vacuums Under $500: Are They Worth It ->I have a roborock revo with a dock. The thing I don't like it that there is no setting for "go empty in the dock after x minutes" like there is for the mop. So to deal with this, I created a routine for each room individually. It then empty after each rooms. Do that once a day, and no clogs.
r/greatpyrenees • Do you guys have any robot vacuum success stories?! Or bad ones? ->I absolutely love my Q Revo. I bought it with intentions of it being supported by Valetudo, but honestly… the app works, the HA integration works. I have a geofence that runs the full vac/mop when I leave in AM thru HA. I trigger a night mop of kitchen at 1am via HA. I have automations that notify on the TV when the buckets need to be filled/dumped. I’m planning to 3D print replacement buckets with auto fill and dump — this is my only issue… needs that water and dumping based on size of house and how often you run the mop.
r/homeassistant • What's the best robot vacuum and mop IYO? Is it really worth its expensive price tag you paid? ->I use my Roborock Revo a great deal. I vacuum twice as much as the mop function.
r/RobotVacuums • Robot vacuums - are they worth it ? Do you use yours? ->So I bought a q revo and dreame l10s and compared them directly and ended up keeping the l10s because it seems to do a better job of mopping (and is willing to mop in skinnier areas of my hard floor around rugs). I don't mind the worse app with dreame, it's completely usable and reliable, just with weird translations. I genuinely like the roborock carpets first feature but I don't miss it with scheduling. If you can afford the l40 ultra, that's what I would buy for the best features (hot water mop washing, self cleaning washboard, water turbidity sensor, mop extend & lifting brush, hair cutting roller). How much more expensive are the premier q revo models in your area (the master, slim, edge, curv)? If theyre the same price (or you can afford the slight increase) I'd get those for the best of both worlds: premier features and the superior roborock app.
r/RobotVacuums • HELP! Getting decision fatigue on all the choices and mixed reviews ->Exactly what I meant thank you for saying it for me. That’s why I own an.x40, and threw my revo in the trash. I was referring to roborocks obstacle avoidance
r/Roborock • Roborock Obstacle Avoidance Sucks ->I disagree. Got a roborock q revo with vac and mop, also with a station that washes and dries the mops and it is very good and helpful.
r/RobotVacuums • Wirecutter says don't get a robot vacuum-mop combo. Do you agree? ->Second the OP. I'd recommend getting a Roborock or similar with self emptying vacuum. It works best on hardwood floors. Carpet not so much. Look into robots with high suction power. Like the other OP, you will still need to dyson up nooks and crannies manually, but the ability to schedule frequent self vacuum in high traffic areas cuts down on your workload significantly. The self mopping feature imo is not worth it, but maybe the newest models have improved. From experience, you will want robots that can detect animals (I've seen videos where the robot runs over the dogs tails, gets stuck, and terrifies the dogs). Also look for ones that can detect objects like poop, so you don't come home to a Jackson pollock painting. Look into the clearance height of the robot as well, and compare to your furniture if you are looking to have the robot go under couches and stuff. For example, our roborock barely fits under the couch, and even with 1 cm clearance, will avoid going under the couch if it detects the under-couch fabric is hanging too low (we fixed this by reholstering the bottom of the couch). Worth mentioning if you work from home that the self emptying vacuum feature can get loud, but it is usually very brief and you should be able to schedule emptying times. The robot vacuum companies get you on the replacement parts, which are not cheap. You do get what you pay for though, and routine maintenance (cleaning sensors, replacing brushes, untangling hair from rollers) goes a long way in longevity. I haven't found a robot vacuum that does not pick up hairs in the dog roller yet, so expect to periodically open up the robot to remove hair (usually very easy). For replacement parts, you can go third party for cheaper. Especially so when buying replacements for big brand/popular models. For example, you can get an unofficial 5 pack of vacuum bags for the self emptying vacuum for the same cost as 1 official one (or something like that). For carpets, I'd just go with those manual carpet brushes. Picks up way more hair more efficiently than any vacuum. Just my 2 cents.
r/goldenretrievers • Roomba vs Goldens? ->Roomba's have pretty subpar mapping & navigation compared to most other brands. We have one (older) Roomba that relies on VSLAM for navigation and one Roborock that uses LiDAR; the difference is night and day. I would avoid iRobot on that alone until they change their tech.
r/Roborock • Best robot without a dock ->For the price (£250) I am very impressed with mine. Its got LiDAR, a mop, empties itself, etc. Its really neat to watch on the app as it goes about your house and maps it out. Its only gotten stuck twice, and both times were on the same chair that has horizontal bars at floor level that it can get over if it runs at it head on, but can high side itself if approaching from an angle. Definitely does not replace vacuuming as a whole though as it just cant physically get into the corners, and the vacuum itself isnt enough to really suck stuff out of the carpet, more just pick up things on top. I treat it more like a broom than anything else, but having a pet it helps me keep on top of things.
r/gadgets • Roborock graduates from vacuuming your house to mowing your lawn ->Yes! Don’t get the Curv plus it’s cheaply built and ugly. The S8 MaxV has premium materials. They are all plastic but the Curv and Q series feel flimsy.
r/Roborock • Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra Review from a 7-Cat Household ->You might not be happy with the build quality of the lower end series like the Q. Stick with Premium. I would get the S series or Saros. The Q series feels very cheap compared to the S plus it can handle the hair NP. It’s a more attractive unit too unless you like a shiny egg that looks like it came out of an 80s movie. lol
r/Roborock • Upgrading from Roborock S6 MaxV – Best Model for Pet Hair? ->The comment about robot vacuums only being for small places is probably based on the old random pattern robots. Most robots now map and do well in large houses. It sounds like most mapping robots would work for you, since you don't want mopping, have hardfloors, and no pets. So anything with lidar (prefered) or vslam navigation. Obstacle avoidance might be a useful feature for cords, shoes, toys etc. left on the ground. It might be worth looking into a Eufy L60, iRobot Roomba j series, Roborock Q series, or shark. I'm biased because I have three robot vacs (Roborock S6, Ecovacs x1 omni, and iRobot Roomba j5+ combo) and my roomba j5+ is the only one that is reliable and working at the moment
