"I use the mop more than the vacuum actually. ... It can mop your kitchen in the dark after you’ve turned in for the night. ... I can walk around with bare feet that don’t get dirty!"
"Auto mop washing is probably one of the most worthwhile features of any robot mop. ... The rotating mops have been so successful compared to vibrating partially because the washing system is so simple. ... Since the pads rotate on the robot itself, the dock doesn’t need moving parts to clean the mop. The pads simple rotate quickly on what is basically a fixed washboard and the dirty water is sucked out. Way simpler and therefore cheaper, hardly anything to break."
"Q(X)revo is an excellent entry level active mopper. ... Welcome to the world of active scrubbing and autonomous washing with water management."

"my only complaint about the QX revo is that if you say go clean the house it never empties the dust bin until the end. ... It's not programmable either. ... If it gets full halfway through it just starts leaving dust bunnies everywhere. ... I break my house up to clean now. The room with a wool rug I do by itself because it will fill the bin by itself. ... it's crazy that they didn't allow for emptying it at some frequency like every half hour as an example. ... Yes it's very stupid of Roborock to sell a simple software feature as an improvement when it is really in my opinion a requirement. ... I like the QX revo, but will be buying a different brand next time because of this."
"The thing I don't like it that there is no setting for "go empty in the dock after x minutes" like there is for the mop."
"I do wish I could tell it ‘empty bin’ like on the roomba. ... What happens if the bin gets full half way through cleaning? Will it go home to empty?"

"Object detection, specifically the smallest. ... I have cat toys that hang around everywhere and regularly my Q Revo blocks on it. ... Having to put them away before launching the robot and the only reason why I don't start it without my presence. ... This is the worst nightmare for my Q Revo."
"Its only gotten stuck twice, and both times were on the same chair that has horizontal bars at floor level that it can get over if it runs at it head on, but can high side itself if approaching from an angle."
"The roborock QX Revo only has structured light which isn’t very good for obstacle avoidance anyway."

"I really like the idea of the 2 rollers for the hair so it can’t tangle. HUGE problem in my household. lol."
"As long as the toys are picked up the only issue it occasionally has is with my really long hair getting wrapped around the rollers."

"The self mopping feature imo is not worth it"
"I have a very drooly dog that leaves spots on the floor and it won't scrub those up, I have to break out a floor cleaner for that."
"But sticky spots like light muddy shoe impression was not taken out(for that Swiffer mop was needed)."
That’s the one I just got from Costco as well. What happens if the bin gets full half way through cleaning? Will it go home to empty? I do wish I could tell it ‘empty bin’ like on the roomba. I have mainly hardwood so I’m debating if I need the more suction, BUT for the price I need to know that it’s worth it. Because it needs more than just suction power for that kinda money. Ima keep my eye out for it to go on sale though.
Right now I got the Revo because I was able to get it in store, BUT someone below commented the differences between them. And it’s a great list. Now I’m wondering if I should spend the extra money. 😩 at a $440 -700 difference do I just say f it and go with the ultra? I’m wondering how well the anti tangle brushes work.
From looking at a couple other threads I think the ultra is very similar to the edge just without the lift part. Seems like it’s a Costco exclusive. I’m looking at the differences between the qx revo and the qrevo max v. but so far it doesn’t seem worth the extra money. I think ima keep the qx revo for now, Costco has a great return policy if I’m unhappy in a month or two. That’s the main reason I’m sticking with what Costco has for now. I’m switching from a roomba AND a narwhal to a 1 machine system.
The Costco one has a two year warranty along with Costco having a much more hassle free return policy. Not sure how much that is worth to you but it was worth paying a bit more to me.
I have the Costco QX Revo and it is doing well too. I am actually surprised. Makes me wonder how much better these more expensive models can be. I might keep it because of the warranty and it was only $430.
QX Revo is good enough. I have had it for over a week and it does a decent job. Plus I like how I can return it if something goes wrong. From my research these robots are coming out to often and it seems people have problems no matter the model or price. Once something comes out that is truly amazing is when I will purchase one not from Costco. I also just bought the QX Revo Ultra from Costco. Gonna test that out
I have both Mova p10 and the Roborock QX revo from costco but can't decide which one too keep.
I bought the QX Revo. No complaints.
I just bought the Roborock QX Revo from Costco. I’m moving my Roomba j7 to the basement. If the Roborock doesn’t work out I will just return it.
If you’re in the states, [refurbished Roborock Q Revo.](https://ebay.us/m/gbXzsY) About $344 before taxes and still comes with warranty. Any robot is gonna have dust bags if you want self emptying but you can buy knockoffs on amazon for cheap.
How is this one [https://www.costco.com/p/-/roborock-qx-revo-robot-vacuum-and-mop-with-multifunctional-dock/4000233271](https://www.costco.com/p/-/roborock-qx-revo-robot-vacuum-and-mop-with-multifunctional-dock/4000233271) ? Roborock QX Revo Robot Vacuum and Mop with Multifunctional Dock with discount it comes out to be around $460 or $470 plus taxes. I have used it for a week. 5500PA suction was okay for the hardwood floor/wooden tiles/wood flooring. It was avoiding most of the objects except the wires(from TV soundbar) and sofa recliner. But sticky spots like light muddy shoe impression was not taken out(for that Swiffer mop was needed). It got really messy with the Catch master glue boards(I have to remove them)-yet to learn how to make use of "no go zones". This one [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DCFNZF32](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DCFNZF32) I am skeptical as they have mixed the reviews of all the products from Eufy and there are some vine product reviews. So I lost faith in them. But my needs are pretty simple-twice or thrice vacuuming in a week and weekend vacuuming done by me. I really don't want to pay a lot for that extra features for corner or edge trash picking arms etc. Mop - I don't think they are going to be as good(what I am expecting them to be). Brand wise i think Roborock is good after using iRobot Roomba for around 5+ years. Is this a good choice [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0DWX69JVG](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0DWX69JVG) ???
T-Mobile based Internet is not good - it can at the most connect 4-5 devices. I already setup wifi with [https://www.costco.com/p/-/roborock-qx-revo-robot-vacuum-and-mop-with-multifunctional-dock/4000233271](https://www.costco.com/p/-/roborock-qx-revo-robot-vacuum-and-mop-with-multifunctional-dock/4000233271) ? Roborock QX Revo Robot Vacuum and Mop with Multifunctional Dock. It was easy-first it connects to home wifi and it uses a temporary wifi(for robot to talk to docking station). Watch vaccum wars or Great Dads video for setup.
First one I have Roborock QX Revo(https://www.costco.com/p/-/roborock-qx-revo-robot-vacuum-and-mop-with-multifunctional-dock/4000233271)- Item 1791272. I bought it in Oct 2025 and price got a further cut of $30. Costco immediately did the price match even when I asked them to do it on 35th day. It's good in overall working for my first floor which is mostly hardwood with few rugs. Mapping is good(but not very good-I couldn't do NO Go zone effectively so I have put physical barrier so that it doesn't go there). Too busy to contact customer service for that. Understand that there is too much noise(models, overwhelming options in terms of what all is available plus Costco and some other places - call these models with different model # to make a fair comparison). Vacuuming and mopping is good(though not the best). Obstacles - well it's not that good. End of the day, I didn't want to go beyond $400 - $600 mark for robot vacuum/mop combination. I wanted something which has dock, does decent work so that I am tempted to do vacuum middle of the week. No pets but garden outside of the home(get most of the dust). I just wanted vacuum(not mop) initially but found almost every good one has mop. I have irobot Roomba 670 for second floor(all carpet)-which is not that smart(stuck at various places) and also tangles. Sometimes you need to search it and bring it back for charging. But it is 5+ years old and we bought it for $180 so all good. I don't want to be 100% reliant on robot vacuum/mop - but just wanted some assistance on the weekdays. Weekend - stick vacuum - we do it over selves. Shampooing/Mopping on the carpet - we do it once in 2 months(using Hoover). Mopping on the hard floor-may be once every 45 days. Sometimes Roborock QX Revo gets loud for no reason(I am running it full suction, full water flow) but overall I find that it is far better than irobot Roomba 670. Happy with it. Please don't take Costco return policy for granted. Costco had in the past cancelled membership for somebody who abused it.
DO NOT BUY, RETURN THIS PIECE OF CRAP. I had a J7 that I bought for $700 (not on costco) less than 2 years ago, and it just stopped working about 2 months ago, needing a new "head cleaning unit" for around $90... that was out of stock. Roomba is a garbage company that puts no effort into developing smarter, better machines. I said F it and bought the RoboRock on Costco so I would have the consumer protection of costco if any problems. It is amazing, empties its own dust bin, and mops the floor for us. SO WORTH IT [https://www.costco.com/roborock-qx-revo-robot-vacuum-and-mop-with-multifunctional-dock.product.4000233271.html](https://www.costco.com/roborock-qx-revo-robot-vacuum-and-mop-with-multifunctional-dock.product.4000233271.html)
Both robots are identical in terms of features. The roborock has a simpler app UI and better navigation than dreame's robots. Roborock's base station's mop washboard is also easier to clean as you won't have to reach down and scrub since it's completely removable, and there shouldn't be any dirt collecting under the tray since the suction tube is not positioned at the bottom but from the top. dreame's removable mop washboard, where the dirty water suction is positioned at the bottom means you'd also have to clean that area under the drain filter after removing the washboard.
I’d get the MOVA P10 pro ultra as MOVA/dreame’s obstacle avoidance is one of the best. It’s also a de facto flagship robot at the same price range as the other two which are mid range robots and will blow them out of the water. The roborock QX Revo only has structured light which isn’t very good for obstacle avoidance anyway. The ecovacs has pretty bad obstacle avoidance too but this is mainly due to a lack of an LED fill light and poor firmware. https://youtu.be/wbkEQ03wZEM When i run everyday to vacuum first then mop, the floors were noticeably cleaner and my wood floors had a sheen to them and felt softer over time. Much more barefoot friendly if you ask me.
Roborock and MOVA / dreame generally have better navigation and mapping than ecovacs. As for less maintenance, the MOVA P10 pro ultra has a self cleaning mop washboard which is the same as the L40 which generally moves most dirt and dust to the drainage area. Not a fan that the bottom isn’t completely removable like roborock so this is a flaw that can be a dealbreaker for you. https://youtu.be/QjUASR3DdIE
The roborock qx revo is a better choice, simpler to use app helps a lot.
hey u/Brilliant-Home-2646 Thank you so much for your reply and update! I bought Costco version a week ago and have been pretty happy with it... that is, until I saw the Amazon deal and started having second thoughts :) I bought Amazon version too - just to not miss out on the deal but didn't open it yet. Here's my experience with QX Revo: 1. Really love the warm air drying feature. We have hard wood floors and it takes < 2 min to dry up after the mop 2. Strangely, it left out some areas during a few runs. Not sure what is going on 3. Given I have no carpets or pet hair, I feel 5,500 pa is adequate. In fact, I don't even crank the pressure all the way. So, that's where I was thinking if the 8,000 pa is good on paper (as a spec) but not really useful in my situation 4. Finally, I've done tons of "research" on YouTube and what I've learned is - none of them is a game-changer. They all have their flaws - heard about cases where the water tanks were leaking etc. Given all this, for me, the easy return of Costco trumps all other advantage of QV35A. This way, I am rest assured, I will have a functioning robot for 2 years or my money back. Overall leaning to just keeping Costco version and returning Amazon, more for mental peace and a little bit for the warm air drying. Also, I am lazy (and feel guilty) opening pristine packing, if I may end up returning :)
