"I run it once a day, and mop a couple times a week. ... In fact, my wet/dry floor vacuum just died so its pulling even more work right now as it's the only real mop I now have, other than a Swiffer."
"My GOD am I glad I did. I had no idea how much I had been missing! ... We have 2 dogs and a cat, and live more rural. That means dirty paws folks, and a lot of them. The mopping and vacuuming has been no short of amazeballs. Not amazing. Amazeballs."
"The current champ of perfectly sparkling clean floors. ... Have 5 dogs tracking in dirt all day? Run this mop and go eat off the floor. That's how clean it is. ... Step aside spinny & vibration mops, this constantly clean roller mop is the champ. ... The mopping ability is light-years ahead of the Curv. ... The continously cleaning of fresh water is where is truly unique. ... You will be delighted and shocked on how amazing this E28 is. Its truly incomparable to any roborock. Get ready to start eating off your floors 😁😉"

"A good robovac is a life changer. Even a $350 basic S8. It is a great place to start. ... I promise you that you will not be disappointed by a basic S8. It will change your life even if it can't fit under every piece of furniture you own. ... My two S8s just finished vacuuming our entire house in about 46 minutes. ... While my floors were being cleaned, I sat comfortably on our patio in the cool shade with a slight breeze and composed my far too long response to you while sipping a diet soda and relaxing. ... I will have to spend about four minutes maintaining my two S8s. This will be my entire contribution to my home floor cleaning effort for today. Four minutes!"
"Like 500$ these robots are currently the steal of the century ... You can get a mova p10 pro ultra (cannot remove its mops), equivalent to the l40/x40 for 500$ after a discount code"
"I got the Q5 Pro for $139. ... costs $450 less than what I paid for the S6 ... it is the best value option out there imo."

"I have 3 parrots so the floor ALWAYS has something on it. Bird poo, food, small chunks of wood, doesn't matter robots got it covered."
"I’ve seen on the camera the poor guy making multiple trips to self empty while in one room but it’s cut the hair buildup tenfold."
"With three they can just make it to a full week for emptying. ... Life changing."

"But, there is one feature in Dreame that other brands (except Narwhal) don't have! A fur/hair compression in a dust bin. ... It uses air pressure to compress fur or hair in the bin so it would be packed and the robot could vacuum without needing to empty the bin many times."
"even though it can lift its mops pads, it means the mop pads stay dry initially so no carpets can get wet"
"The RGB camera enabled robots can detect cat litter and appropriately increase suction, slow down, and stop the side brush to avoid scattering it."

"I don’t have to vacuum or mop anymore unless I just want to."
"It literally vacuums and mops every day while I’m at work."

"The design of the dust bin is, simply put, bad. ... The dust bin volume can't be fully utilized by the robot, and dust and hair will start spilling out when the bin is at 60-70% full. ... This is because of the position of the air filter which is quite awkward. ... cleanup of large areas that get very dirty (dog owners especially), need to have their robot empty the dustbin every 25-35m² (270-380sqft), even with everyday cleaning schedules. ... The robot has a (I think) 220ml dust bin, but it will start overflowing into the brush compartment way before it fills this space. ... If you examine the contents of the dustbin when it starts overflowing, you will see a space of around 60ml being completely empty, and the robot seems to be unable to utilize it, due to the design of the airflow in the dustbin. ... This makes the QRevo Master dustbin's actual effective capacity quite underwhelming ... I guess this problem particularly affects users with a lot of fur in their houses. ... Fur sticks together quite well, and won't spread out in the bin on its own. It's also light enough to immediately start building up next to the filter. ... Being a pet owner is I think the number one reason to buy a robot vacuum, which should mean that the designers should really start thinking about how to solve this issues. ... Their lab tests probably involve rice, sand, and long human hair, but not the menacing dog hair that we predominantly find in our dustbins."

"And this even has a flawed design and cannot fill properly."

"it's also the only robovac I've ever had that ran over dog poop..."
"It gives up quickly and does not map well. ... For example, first time out, it was unable to leave the kitchen. ... So it mapped the kitchen and a space outside the kitchen that it could see was called a room. But it was only able to see 30% of the actual room. ... It did not update the map as the dreame would each run. ... Sent out for a remap. Got the center room and failed to get the hallway that did not have a threshold to cross, got 20% of another room it could't get in and didn't place a wall where there was a wall."
"my Qrevo Edge was not able to avoid some cables or other things like small pet toys my puppy would bring out at times. ... Once it even ran over a little log (of shit) my puppy left out for it which caused me to have to open it up and clean it out."

"The self mopping feature imo is not worth it"
"I have a very drooly dog that leaves spots on the floor and it won't scrub those up, I have to break out a floor cleaner for that."
"If you go that route and have a dog (or kid) that sometimes leaves a mess that would make a bigger mess getting vacuumed, time the scheduled cleanings for after you've been around and had the chance to pick up small stuff and make sure there's no messes."

"I really like the idea of the 2 rollers for the hair so it can’t tangle. HUGE problem in my household. lol."
"No need for maintenance so far unlike my q Revo original."
"As long as the toys are picked up the only issue it occasionally has is with my really long hair getting wrapped around the rollers."
Shouldn’t we also be comparing the PA suction of the Vac I just bought the QX Revo arc from Costco it said 18,500. On sale for 719.00.
r/Roborock • Best model sold at Costco.com? ->Thirding roborock. Love mine. I splurged on the self emptying model….totally worth it.
r/CleaningTips • Which robot vacuum is really GOOD at handling PET HAIR? ->We love our Roborock QX Revo vac/mop with reservoir and tank and currently on sale at Costco for $449
r/homeassistant • Robot Vacuums Under $500: Are They Worth It ->I got the roborock qx revo ultra, absolutely love it so far. Bought it online, store selections sucks. Shipped and arrived way quicker than anticipated. 100% hardwood floor apartment with 2 large dogs and a cat. My friend who’s actually slightly allergic said she can tell the difference since I bought it. And even after a year, Costco will take it back no questions asked.
r/RobotVacuums • Dreame is a scam ->I don't know anything about the others but I just bought the Roborock Qrevo L on the last Amazon sale in Australia. Never owned one before and it's probably the best money I've spent all year, it just works flawlessly and keeps my house basically spotless.
r/RobotVacuums • First robot vac - deciding between 4 ->I just picked up a QX Revo at Costco for $459. It included one spare bag and several spare mop heads. The best part of getting one at Costco is their warrenty / return policy. If anything goes wrong I can just return it instead of dealing with Roborock.
r/Roborock • Roborock 2025 Prime Day – Save Up to $800 ->That’s the one I just got from Costco as well. What happens if the bin gets full half way through cleaning? Will it go home to empty? I do wish I could tell it ‘empty bin’ like on the roomba. I have mainly hardwood so I’m debating if I need the more suction, BUT for the price I need to know that it’s worth it. Because it needs more than just suction power for that kinda money. Ima keep my eye out for it to go on sale though.
r/Roborock • What’s the biggest difference? ->Right now I got the Revo because I was able to get it in store, BUT someone below commented the differences between them. And it’s a great list. Now I’m wondering if I should spend the extra money. 😩 at a $440 -700 difference do I just say f it and go with the ultra? I’m wondering how well the anti tangle brushes work.
r/Roborock • What’s the biggest difference? ->From looking at a couple other threads I think the ultra is very similar to the edge just without the lift part. Seems like it’s a Costco exclusive. I’m looking at the differences between the qx revo and the qrevo max v. but so far it doesn’t seem worth the extra money. I think ima keep the qx revo for now, Costco has a great return policy if I’m unhappy in a month or two. That’s the main reason I’m sticking with what Costco has for now. I’m switching from a roomba AND a narwhal to a 1 machine system.
r/Roborock • What’s the biggest difference? ->I got the Roborock Qx Revo when it was on sale at Costco for $459 and I’m happy with it. The Dreame GoVac 400 is a good option too and has been on sale for $399 before. Avoid Shark and iRobot. Wait for a sale.
r/RobotVacuums • Help! Which Costco to buy? ->People have mixed reviews on these devices. I’ve had a QX Revo Ultra for 2-3 months now and I love it. I have it set to vacuum daily and do a full mop once a week. If you have a COSTCO membership I highly recommend buying from them. It is considered an appliance so you get their lifetime satisfaction guarantee. I’m hoping that it lasts for years but if for any reason I’m not happy with it, I can bring it back for a full refund. So even if it crapped out 2+ years from now I’d be able to bring it back.
r/Roborock • Help! Need quiet Roborock vacuum+mop for pet hair/rugs (Black Friday recs?) ->I bought it for my wife and she's so happy, made cleaning more easy, convenient. Roborock QX is a good.
r/Frugal • Is it worth paying more for a robot vacuum if it makes cleaning easier? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
