That’s the one I just got from Costco as well. What happens if the bin gets full half way through cleaning? Will it go home to empty? I do wish I could tell it ‘empty bin’ like on the roomba. I have mainly hardwood so I’m debating if I need the more suction, BUT for the price I need to know that it’s worth it. Because it needs more than just suction power for that kinda money. Ima keep my eye out for it to go on sale though.
Right now I got the Revo because I was able to get it in store, BUT someone below commented the differences between them. And it’s a great list. Now I’m wondering if I should spend the extra money. 😩 at a $440 -700 difference do I just say f it and go with the ultra? I’m wondering how well the anti tangle brushes work.
From looking at a couple other threads I think the ultra is very similar to the edge just without the lift part. Seems like it’s a Costco exclusive. I’m looking at the differences between the qx revo and the qrevo max v. but so far it doesn’t seem worth the extra money. I think ima keep the qx revo for now, Costco has a great return policy if I’m unhappy in a month or two. That’s the main reason I’m sticking with what Costco has for now. I’m switching from a roomba AND a narwhal to a 1 machine system.
The Costco one has a two year warranty along with Costco having a much more hassle free return policy. Not sure how much that is worth to you but it was worth paying a bit more to me.
I have the Costco QX Revo and it is doing well too. I am actually surprised. Makes me wonder how much better these more expensive models can be. I might keep it because of the warranty and it was only $430.
QX Revo is good enough. I have had it for over a week and it does a decent job. Plus I like how I can return it if something goes wrong. From my research these robots are coming out to often and it seems people have problems no matter the model or price. Once something comes out that is truly amazing is when I will purchase one not from Costco. I also just bought the QX Revo Ultra from Costco. Gonna test that out
I have both Mova p10 and the Roborock QX revo from costco but can't decide which one too keep.
I bought the QX Revo. No complaints.
I just bought the Roborock QX Revo from Costco. I’m moving my Roomba j7 to the basement. If the Roborock doesn’t work out I will just return it.
If you’re in the states, [refurbished Roborock Q Revo.](https://ebay.us/m/gbXzsY) About $344 before taxes and still comes with warranty. Any robot is gonna have dust bags if you want self emptying but you can buy knockoffs on amazon for cheap.
How is this one [https://www.costco.com/p/-/roborock-qx-revo-robot-vacuum-and-mop-with-multifunctional-dock/4000233271](https://www.costco.com/p/-/roborock-qx-revo-robot-vacuum-and-mop-with-multifunctional-dock/4000233271) ? Roborock QX Revo Robot Vacuum and Mop with Multifunctional Dock with discount it comes out to be around $460 or $470 plus taxes. I have used it for a week. 5500PA suction was okay for the hardwood floor/wooden tiles/wood flooring. It was avoiding most of the objects except the wires(from TV soundbar) and sofa recliner. But sticky spots like light muddy shoe impression was not taken out(for that Swiffer mop was needed). It got really messy with the Catch master glue boards(I have to remove them)-yet to learn how to make use of "no go zones". This one [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DCFNZF32](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DCFNZF32) I am skeptical as they have mixed the reviews of all the products from Eufy and there are some vine product reviews. So I lost faith in them. But my needs are pretty simple-twice or thrice vacuuming in a week and weekend vacuuming done by me. I really don't want to pay a lot for that extra features for corner or edge trash picking arms etc. Mop - I don't think they are going to be as good(what I am expecting them to be). Brand wise i think Roborock is good after using iRobot Roomba for around 5+ years. Is this a good choice [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0DWX69JVG](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0DWX69JVG) ???
T-Mobile based Internet is not good - it can at the most connect 4-5 devices. I already setup wifi with [https://www.costco.com/p/-/roborock-qx-revo-robot-vacuum-and-mop-with-multifunctional-dock/4000233271](https://www.costco.com/p/-/roborock-qx-revo-robot-vacuum-and-mop-with-multifunctional-dock/4000233271) ? Roborock QX Revo Robot Vacuum and Mop with Multifunctional Dock. It was easy-first it connects to home wifi and it uses a temporary wifi(for robot to talk to docking station). Watch vaccum wars or Great Dads video for setup.
First one I have Roborock QX Revo(https://www.costco.com/p/-/roborock-qx-revo-robot-vacuum-and-mop-with-multifunctional-dock/4000233271)- Item 1791272. I bought it in Oct 2025 and price got a further cut of $30. Costco immediately did the price match even when I asked them to do it on 35th day. It's good in overall working for my first floor which is mostly hardwood with few rugs. Mapping is good(but not very good-I couldn't do NO Go zone effectively so I have put physical barrier so that it doesn't go there). Too busy to contact customer service for that. Understand that there is too much noise(models, overwhelming options in terms of what all is available plus Costco and some other places - call these models with different model # to make a fair comparison). Vacuuming and mopping is good(though not the best). Obstacles - well it's not that good. End of the day, I didn't want to go beyond $400 - $600 mark for robot vacuum/mop combination. I wanted something which has dock, does decent work so that I am tempted to do vacuum middle of the week. No pets but garden outside of the home(get most of the dust). I just wanted vacuum(not mop) initially but found almost every good one has mop. I have irobot Roomba 670 for second floor(all carpet)-which is not that smart(stuck at various places) and also tangles. Sometimes you need to search it and bring it back for charging. But it is 5+ years old and we bought it for $180 so all good. I don't want to be 100% reliant on robot vacuum/mop - but just wanted some assistance on the weekdays. Weekend - stick vacuum - we do it over selves. Shampooing/Mopping on the carpet - we do it once in 2 months(using Hoover). Mopping on the hard floor-may be once every 45 days. Sometimes Roborock QX Revo gets loud for no reason(I am running it full suction, full water flow) but overall I find that it is far better than irobot Roomba 670. Happy with it. Please don't take Costco return policy for granted. Costco had in the past cancelled membership for somebody who abused it.
DO NOT BUY, RETURN THIS PIECE OF CRAP. I had a J7 that I bought for $700 (not on costco) less than 2 years ago, and it just stopped working about 2 months ago, needing a new "head cleaning unit" for around $90... that was out of stock. Roomba is a garbage company that puts no effort into developing smarter, better machines. I said F it and bought the RoboRock on Costco so I would have the consumer protection of costco if any problems. It is amazing, empties its own dust bin, and mops the floor for us. SO WORTH IT [https://www.costco.com/roborock-qx-revo-robot-vacuum-and-mop-with-multifunctional-dock.product.4000233271.html](https://www.costco.com/roborock-qx-revo-robot-vacuum-and-mop-with-multifunctional-dock.product.4000233271.html)
