Yep, 1000% because you dont have to do both at the same time in fact we found we like to vacuum first and then run a mop pass. But in a pinch we cam do both, all with one machine. We have had a few different ones but Roborock has been our favorite so far. We are on year 5 of our S7 Ultra and its still running strong.
After a couple of other brands failures (Screw you, Eufy!), I did a bunch of research to find an affordable Vacuum / Mop combo with good parts availability and settled on the Roborock S7 Ultra. 3 months in, it's doing well.
They mad decent vacuum, but their mop was terrible. I used to say, “it moves the diet around quite well.” 😁 It didn’t removed the dirt, it just re-distributed it.
Got a Roborock S7 Ultra a couple of years ago - SO MUCH BETTER. Roomba def. rested on their early laurels, and watched everyone pass them by.
We went from the S7 Ultra and S8 Uktra to a Narwal Flow as we wanted a better mopping experience due to our two dogs and their muddy paw prints on our hardfloors.
So for us the trade up was a big improvement. But if U would mainly care about vacuuming, then it would not be worth an upgrade
I would push you towards either Roborock or dreame as they both have the best robots in the game and some of the best apps. I would also suggest you to consider using the mopping feature as a lot of new vacuums now are able to smart detect carpet and other things to keep your floors safe. IF you’re not using the mopping feature then it’s super easy to keep you probably under $1500 for three of them without even thinking about it. The other thing I’m going to suggest is keeping all three of them in one ecosystem so you can set up smart schedules through your app and let it handle almost everything.

Personally, I would just buy two of the L40 ultra AEs and put the Rooma in that unfinished space you were talking about. I would also consider two [Roborock S8 ultra maxes](https://a.co/d/5n5nCQq). I have the S7 ultra and I would die for it.
