"One huge leg up for a Shark over Roomba is that the brush roller is similar to a vacuum (e.g. hard plastic), whereas the roomba is a plastic roller with a rubber cover that is DESTROYED by dog fur and you have to frequently replace."
"I run it 1-3 times and day, I’ve had it for 4 hours. ... Still works great"
"the only robot vacuum that didn’t clog or burn out was the self emptying shark one ... it’s been going three years strong."

"I’ve seen on the camera the poor guy making multiple trips to self empty while in one room but it’s cut the hair buildup tenfold."

"The big thing for me is the app and the map. Once it learns the house you can send it to just individual rooms to clean which is a lifesaver with small kids as rarely are all the floors clean at once. ... I send the robot and it’s amazing."
"I love the mapping function because I can keep it out of certain areas depending on how good I was at preparing the house."
"Sharks clean in a stripe or grid pattern whereas roomba is a seemingly random pattern that drives me nuts. ... also has an option for what they call matrix clean but it’s basically a grid, it’ll do stripes all one way then perpendicular to really get everything."

"a ton of minor things that make it feel polished, like the robot will announce on its own device speaker what's happening, like why it got stuck or why it's returning to a dock."

"Occasionally with an app update your robot will act like it ’s lost and doesn’t know the map and you have to remap the house which is annoying"
"the app was wonky and always very slow to connect"
I love my shark. I've had it for 3 years and no issues. I copied the whole description...lol..."Shark AV2501AE AI Robot Vacuum with XL HEPA Self-Empty Base, Bagless, 60-Day Capacity, LIDAR Navigation, Perfect for Pet Hair, Compatible with Alexa, Wi-Fi Connected, Carpet & Hard Floor, Black"...I got mine off Amazon
r/homeautomation • Whats the best robot vacuum for an average home? ->I got the Shark AI Ultra RV2502 and it's pretty good so far 🤷🏻
r/RobotVacuums • Is there high end robot vacuum without mopping? ->We have a German shedder in the house and our shark has been amazing (AI ultra). Virtually no issues with hair stuck in the brushes and always amazed how much is picked up after a session
r/RobotVacuums • Which one is better for dog hair? ->We have a “shark ai ultra 2-1”. We also have a German Shepard. I don’t know this vacuum is the best for pets, but we have almost no hair stuck and overall very happy with this vacuum as well. (Bonus that is the only vacuum so far out dog doesn’t attack when it’s cleaning)
r/RobotVacuums • Best vacuum for Pet/Human hair ->I’d say: Yes! We have 2 kids (2yo and 2mo) and a shedding dog. You will need to clean up everything off the floor though, especially after the law of entropy has been applied to the floor by the kids. Yes, some models can a kid obstacles better than others, but the vacuum still won’t life obstacles or out stuff back on the shelve. For this reason I only run the vacuum on demand. Overall I find it worth it. Cleaning up toys and let the vacuum vacuum and/or mop saves me a lot of time. We have the shark AI ultra 2-in-1. Very happy with it. It is more a budget model and if you sign up for news alerts and wait for a sale you get more than 50% off. Basic obstacle avoidance with the LiDAR Scanner. There’s models with additional cameras who do a better job at objects smaller than the height if the robot, although I’m not sure if that is worth it when you have kids and need to clean up after them anyways
r/homeowners • Are robot vacuums worth it? I’ve got 4 small kids and I’m always sweeping up the kitchen. Now I have a crawling baby so I’m thinking about getting a robot vacuum, preferably the mop/vacuum kind but they are so expensive! Curious if they are worth it and an investment. ->Ok, I think I will try it out. I usually like to just run it one room at a time because I feel like it works better that way. I never set it to a schedule because I like to make sure the little obstacles are minimal—my kids like to leave their chargers and socks all over the house. I do have the same problem with our current base not being able to empty every time. (AI Ultra with Matrix clean) I was actually went to go look at the Matrix 2-in-1, but decided to splurge a little more. They were both around $300 off. So going to keep checking up on the price until Black Friday.
r/RobotVacuums • Anyone have the Power Detect 2-in-1? I’ve been wanting to try a mop combo, but not sure how well they work. ->I have had both roomba and shark. Roomba needed a lot of maintenance. The good news is that it is completely rebuildable. Bad news, I know that because I changed our every part in that darn machine. My shark is more durable. Yes, I've changed our parts, but they are normal parts like filters and side brushes. I have yet to replace the motor or battery. My sister has an eufy. She has poor quality carpet, and the suction power has damaged her carpet. So... it is a powerful vacuum if your carpet can handle it. Robot vacuums are usually beat priced on black Friday. You might get lucky with Prime Day this year.
r/germanshepherds • We are finally caving in… which roomba do you use? 😂😩 ->I have the Shark AI Ultra self emptying. It does not mop. It isn't a replacement for full vacuuming, but it does make the job much easier. I suffer from dust mite allergies, so I know it does a good job. However, I think it is important to point out to new robot vacuum users that you still need to do a weekly full vacuum regardless of how many times per week you want to run your bot
r/germanshepherds • We are finally caving in… which roomba do you use? 😂😩 ->After three years, I just had to get rid of our shark AI becasue our pup had an accident, and well the rest is history. I loved our shark and while I'm inclined to purchase the same one again, I'm wondering if there is something better for no more than $500.
r/RobotVacuums • best bagless robot vacuum self-empty ->I had our bagless Shark for three years with no issues
r/RobotVacuums • best bagless robot vacuum self-empty ->[Shark](https://www.sharkclean.com/sharkus.product_categories.robot_vacuums). Never seems to get mentioned in these kinds of threads, but they are rock-solid, no bags to replace, not Chinese, excellent vacuums and I highly recommend them.
r/homeautomation • Robotic vacuum recommendation ->I love my Shark AI Ultra. Honestly life changing if I want to be dramatic. I have a german shep and an american eskimo. I do have to clean the brush off daily because it will tangle with hair, but I don't mind doing that considering my floors are constantly hair free now. I have it on a schedule to run every morning at a set time, but I can also start it with the app even when I'm not home if. I can pick "no-go" zones and also pick specific spots for it to clean rather than the entire room. My only complaint is the tangled brush, but I have A LOT of dog hair between the two so I'm not too shocked...as long as I go and pop off the back and pull the hair out once a day I don't have any problems. My house is all hardwood so I can't give fair opinion on rug cleaning.
r/RobotVacuums • What’s the best self-emptying vacuum only device? ->I have the shark ai ultra for 2 weeks and it's been good so far. I also didn't want to go with a mop version starting out. The shark does a good job, I was surprised how well it did, actually, bc I was skeptical that a robot vac could be strong enough.we have a long haired cat and a large shedding dog in those rooms full time and a German shepherd is in there sometimes, too. It has made a huge difference in the daily cleanliness, beforehand there were tumbleweeds of fluff everywhere along with the occasional scattering of cat litter and regular human dirt that we track around. Idk if it's better than the others , but I'm very happy with it.
r/RobotVacuums • Which is the best for pet hair: Roborock Q5+, Roomba J7+, or Shark AI Ultra? ->That’s the only thing; I had one too and it worked good.
r/RobotVacuums • best bagless robot vacuum self-empty ->Good unpopular opinion apparently. I had a coworker that would vacuum without glasses and miss half the floor. I feel the same way about robot vacuums I currently have the top of the line shark with ai and can’t it to work reliably, maybe I don’t have the best setup. I kinda prefer pulling out my shark, or Dyson and knowing for a fact it’s clean.
r/unpopularopinion • Robot vacuums are expensive and a waste of time. ->What about a Shark Matrix? They self empty and hold a lot of dirt and do a good job cleaning. I have the Shark AI (which is $279 on amazon) and I love it. Dustbin is big and no bag required, super easy to dump. It has a few filters that you need to find and clean, but I really like that too. It's got some HEPA stuff. It works hard and doesn't freak out too often; the app is pretty solid.
r/RobotVacuums • Suggestions for robot vacuum? ->I use two mid-grade robots to keep my main floor clean and I rarely haul out my old manual vacuum. My Shark AI is loud, but a total workhorse. No mopping. The Yeedi cube I have mops and cleans- poorly at best. You're looking at the models I am. The Yeedi parent brand is Ecovacs, just for reference. I loved my oldest Yeedi, it was super tough. I'm hesitant to invest in another Yeedi, but people do love them! They probably got better since my last purchase. Roborock S8 (MaxVUltra) is the other one I've looked closely at... but sometimes people say not worth the cost. Investing $999 in a vacuum is a big deal! The Eureka J15 looks cool. The Dreme X40 is the best discounted price on Amazon right now. As the robots get better, I really want one that vacuums and mops well. I have kids, cats and dogs, plus boys who cheat and don't take their boots off when I'm not home. I work a ton, so I really want something I can set and monitor from my office while I'm away.
r/RobotVacuums • So... Can robovac actually deep clean? If so, which one? ->Our iRobot j7+ has been going strong for 3 years. It occasionally pukes out whatever it just collected but overall does a great job. We also have two shark AI in the basement and on the bedroom level - they’re just not as good as the roomba. Fine but not as thorough.
r/workingmoms • What's the best robot vacuum for cat/dog hair you've ever used? What's worked well for you? ->My Shark AI robot vacuum goes over most area rugs with no problem. I love it so much! I bought a second one, a vacuum-mop version - this one can be programmed to go around the rugs when mopping. Now all have to do is to take the time to set those parameters up.
r/CleaningTips • How do you keep floors clean with pets around ->I have a Shark AI vacuum only and I love it! Was $150 on Facebook Marketplace. We use it for our carpeted lower level. However, after only a few weeks, it has stopped returning to its dock when its battery is low - each day, I have to go find it and carry it back. Then I picked up a Shark vacuum-mop and it’s been a fair amount of problems. I am going to use it while I research better vac-mops.
r/RobotVacuums • Costco currently has two robot vacuums with mopping on sale. I’ve never owned a robot vacuum but we have all hard woods with rugs in our house as well as two dogs. Any thoughts on these two at Costco? ->I’ve concluded through a lot of trial and error that robot vacuums (even the expensive ones) just aren’t up to the task of Lab hair. I use a Shark AI to do a daily sweep, and that’s really what it’s good for. My big Dyson upright comes out on Saturday morning to do a proper deep-clean.
r/labrador • Robot Vacuum for Lab hair ->My Roomba ai auto empty went on strike after 2 months, just quit working completely. Edit my bad it was the shark ai
r/husky • Best robot vacuum...for all the hair? ->I paid $298, which was on rollback at Walmart from $500 for my shark two and one matrix and I love it
r/RobotVacuums • Best affordable sweeping and mopping robot? ->Well listen I love mine there are a lot of different models and maybe I have a good one I don't know but I love it and the price is right
r/RobotVacuums • Best affordable sweeping and mopping robot? ->I have all hard floors, so yes.
r/Frugal • Is it worth paying more for a robot vacuum if it makes cleaning easier? ->I'm sorry.I thought this was in the thread where I already had. Shark matrix two and one. There are like twenty different varieties under that same heading. I do not know how to tell you how to tell the difference between the models. 😞
r/Frugal • Is it worth paying more for a robot vacuum if it makes cleaning easier? ->People on here complain about the kind I have but I think it is great for the price, and i'm unwilling to pay more. It's a shark matrix two and one. And my personal opinion, it does all the important things well. It maps well, so it doesn't miss spots, it has object avoidance, so it will gently bump into furniture or whatever, but not harm it. It doesn't mop as well as I could, but running it daily solves that problem. Running it daily, my floors are immaculate. I can walk around barefoot or in socks. I have all hard floors, so I can't say how it does have carpet. It empties itself in vacuum only mode, but that doesn't really do me any good because i'm always having it mop also. I don't mind changing out the mop pat myself, emptying the vacuum part of the two and one, and refilling the reservoir. I mean, sure if I were well off, i would get a 1200 one to save me from bending, over and dealing with all that, but for the price point I don't mind at all. I can't tell you how much I love it. I have a condition that makes mopping entirely too painful.
r/Frugal • Is it worth paying more for a robot vacuum if it makes cleaning easier? ->Yuck. I got a shark two in one for 298 on sale from five hundred. Worth every penny. It doesn't miss anywhere, and it has object avoidance
r/Frugal • Is it worth paying more for a robot vacuum if it makes cleaning easier? ->I have a far lower budget. I have a shark matrix two and one, there are many varieties, mine was at the five hundred mark starting off, on sale for $298. It empties itself when it's in vacuum only mode, which doesn't do me any good because i'm always having to mop since I also have LVP. I am happy with it, but I see a lot of complaints here about it. Since your budget is higher, you can get a better one!
r/RobotVacuums • New to robot vac ->I have the same one and I agree
r/Frugal • Is it worth paying more for a robot vacuum if it makes cleaning easier? ->I've got a Shark something-or-other that has a "matrix clean" function (Dreame does something similar, I think) where after it finishes an area/room, it goes back and does it again running perpendicular to the run it just finished. I don't have any idea about the *actual* efficacy, but my spouse ("it's not vacuumed until you've gone over the same spot in 3 different directions") ***loves*** it. Since 'perception is reality', our carpets are cleaner because my spouse perceives them to be so.
r/RobotVacuums • So... Can robovac actually deep clean? If so, which one? ->I just bought a shark self emptying vacuum/mop robot about a month ago. Haven't had it during heavy shedding, so can't state how it works for that. I run it a few times a week for light maintenance on hard floors. So far I like it better than my old roomba. The roller on the bottom so far has not been getting clogged up with hair, and the self emptying feature is great. In the short amount of time I've had it, i've been really happy it. Hopefully i can say the same in a couple of years.
r/husky • Best robot vacuum...for all the hair? ->Avoid shark robots . Just a year in, my shark lidar based robot died. My 4 year old roomba is still kicking fine
r/RobotVacuums • How do we feel about Vacuum Wars ratings? ->I got a refurbished shark that self empties and mop for $100 on woot. Works better than that $700 roomba
r/CleaningTips • I'm about to check myself in a mental institution ->yes. we have three shibas and *had* two automatic vaccums until one of them succumbed from dog hair and the other one is literally on its last leg. highly recommend, as well as the shark vac/mop!
r/dogs • Is a Roomba-like vacuum worth it for dogs? I need to be de-influenced for my wallets sake ->I use the shark one that empties itself and has gps (to map your home so you can clean individual rooms). Lifehack, order it directly from their site and then call them when you receive it to return it. They'll take 40% off to keep it. It's what happened to me after I got buyers remorse. Works great for my husky and gsd
r/husky • Best robot vacuum...for all the hair? ->Well it's definitely not the BEST robot vacuum, because I'm a little on the cheap side and I don't have to have the best thing, but I really like my shark vacuum because they have a patented "lint roller" that keeps pet hair and string from getting tangled or building up on the roller. It's the lidar kind with the self empty base. The self empty base is a must have imo. Running this daily keeps the pet hair tumbleweeds from taking over the house. Doesn't do great on carpet though.
r/homemaking • The best robot vacuum on the market right now that you swear by? ->I had one of the higher end Sharks, can't remember the model, and I thought I liked it. It touted laser mapping, advanced schedules, etc. But then I got the Roborock Q Revo and it absolutely blew me away; made me realize how shitty the Shark was. At every level it's better: primarily it cleans way better, but also the app is better, it's actually easy to get replacement parts, and a ton of minor things that make it feel polished, like the robot will announce on its own device speaker what's happening, like why it got stuck or why it's returning to a dock. Contrast this with a few friends of mine that have even worse vacuums than the Shark: theirs get stuck all the time, can't find their way home to the dock, they end up not using it at all. Long story short, based on my experience it's absolutely worth spending good money to get a good robot vacuum.
r/homeassistant • What's the best robot vacuum and mop IYO? Is it really worth its expensive price tag you paid? ->I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I love my Shark robovac. I got the one that self empties and will continue after it does. It was worth it to upgrade with all the pet hair because both our dogs have blow out twice a year and one cat sheds like crazy too. So it doesn't need me to empty it every 6 minutes.
r/Frugal • Is it worth paying more for a robot vacuum if it makes cleaning easier? ->Not BIFL, but our Shark (get the self emptying base!) has withstood 4 cats, a long haired dog, 3 adults, a toddler, and a long haired teenager for 4 years and still doing well. I was incredibly disappointed in the original roomba I tried. If you do buy a shark buy directly from them. Their customer service is phenomenal. I bought one through a home improvement store as it was on sale. It had a charging issue within 12 months and when I called Shark I was told that since I hadn’t bought from them they couldn’t cover the full replacement even under warranty. BUT if I paid shipping they would send me a new one - $34 later I had a new one on the way. Bonus points as I was able to fix the original and had two robot vacs for the price of 1+ shipping.
r/BuyItForLife • Robot vacuum recommendation? ->I have a dog that never stops shedding. And I just got two cats. I have the Shark robot vacuum that self empties. I love it. I still vacuum every couple of days and get plenty of fur and dirt but I know it picks up its fair share because I empty the reservoir once every week or so and there is plenty in there. I can tell if it doesn’t run for a couple days because I will notice the floors not being as clean. I typically just have it run every day while I’m at work on a timer so I come home to fresh carpet lines. It’s worth spending a little more on these robot vacuums because the self emptying is huge, especially if you have square footage to cover. But it is also so much smarter than the older cheaper brand I had that would constantly get stuck and just bounce around the rooms willy-nilly. This one maps it out and covers all the floor space efficiently.
r/CleaningTips • I'm about to check myself in a mental institution ->I have the Shark that empties itself. Only does one floor and mixed hard wood and rugs. Empties itself twice while cleaning and does a pretty good job.
r/husky • Robot Vacuums? ->I have 3 and the best cleaner is by far the not smart ilife a4. They are inexpensive and run well on regular low pile carpet. Only complaint is that it sees black carpet spots as a drop and goes haywire. My ilife v80max Is finicky, battery sucks, same black carpet issue. My shark self emptying doesn't do corners and edges well due to the tiny single brush it has, the self emptying doesn't work 60% of the time due to cat hair. Just get the cheap ilife, hell, get 2 or 3 for the price. Mines lasted 8 years and counting.
r/BuyItForLife • Best self cleaning robot vacuum? ->I have a Shark with a base that it self empties into. Mine is scheduled to run three times a week and I empty the base once a week. I’ve got two cats, hardwood, and a lot of dust. You’d probably have to empty the base multiple times a week with two shepherds. Honestly I love my Shark. It saved me so much anxiety and time because I was constantly fighting to make my floors feel clean. Now I just have to spot clean and vacuum the corners where the robot can’t reach.
r/CleaningTips • Robot vacuum VS dog hair… battle to the death 💀 ->I second u/Huntit-Ownit ! Get one that has the auto empty dock. I empty mine every couple of days that way. One huge leg up for a Shark over Roomba is that the brush roller is similar to a vacuum (e.g. hard plastic), whereas the roomba is a plastic roller with a rubber cover that is DESTROYED by dog fur and you have to frequently replace. If you keep an eye on Woot they have refurbished sharks on sale pretty frequently, last one I got for $120.... Edit: Looks like Woot has one refurbished for $129!
r/greatpyrenees • Best robot vacuum on a budget? ->I like my big Bissell Pet hair vacuum. It was like $250? I think I got it from target. We have a BC, a Sheppard mix, and a yorkie mix. So, with the 2 bigs we have a lot of hair lol ALSO.... if you do not have them already look at chom chom on amazon... it is a little hand held thing that gets hair off of furniture in a breeze!! I have one in the living room and the bedroom. It is like a lint roller without the sticky tape. you just run it back and fourth really quick on the surface you want to remove hair and it picks it up like a charm! I use that on my couch and bed daily! We also got a shark robot vacuum with a tank that it self empties into and we run that every day too. I have found that daily maintenance or every other day is the best way to keep the hair down
r/BorderCollie • Best vacuum for dog hair? Bonus points if it can be bought at Costco. ->We have a self emptying Shark vacuum that is programmed to run in the living room and kitchen at night. As far as baby toys go. Most of that stuff lives in the giant playpen they takes up 1/3 of my living room. We have other toys for when she’s crawling and cruising around, but those get picked up when we’re done, so the dogs don’t get them.
r/beyondthebump • Vacuum - Mop robots ... with kids? ->I have 3 golden retrievers and 2 cats. I run a shark robot daily (I paid a little over $300, and is self emptying). I have to clean the brush every time it runs. If I don't run it daily, it just clogs up. Still it is less work than keeping up with all that fur. https://preview.redd.it/ddu3lbzejone1.jpeg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=25f2be0c57e4ef63f85f3c8e507b9397df9d33aa
r/PetAdvice • Is a Robot vacuum worth it for Pet Hair? Best options under $200? ->We have a Dreame that self empties and will mop. It’s in the pricey side, but we’ve also had n auto emptying Shark that I really liked and a Roborock that did very well but you have to empty. FWIW we have two large dogs (Alaskan Malamute and Great Pyrenees) and 8 cats.
r/CleaningTips • I'm about to check myself in a mental institution ->I have a self emptying shark and it has changed my life lol.
r/husky • Best robot vacuum...for all the hair? ->I'm a very happy shark robot vac owner. With dogs of that size and that much hair, you definitely want the self-empting kind as others have noted. I have two corgi-sized high shed my Shark does a great jo. What I love most is that they really stand by their warranty and even fully replaced one of my out of warranty models when they released a software update that bricked every one of that model in the entire US. Shark didn't send me a refurbished vacuum cleaner they sent me a brand new one of their latest model. Whatever you model you go with buy a cheap pack of the replacement air filters. I find that they take forever to dry when you wash them, so having extra means the machine is ready for the next cycle. If you haven't used a robot vac before, mine take a little bit of maintenance about once a month where I wipe the machine down, empty the vacuum, replace or wash the filters, etc. I also have very long hair, so I end up having to cut my hair off the brush. With hardwood floors, you'll be amazed at how much dust all brands of robot vacuums suck up.
r/CleaningTips • whats the Best Robot Vacuum for Pet Hair you've ever tried? ->Can you explain a little more on this? In genuinely curious cause I've had my Shark that auto empties and have had it for a month or two now and it hasn't caused any problems. I've had to clean out the filters already cause they got really dusty but nothing else besides that
r/RobotVacuums • best bagless robot vacuum self-empty ->Yeah the filter cleaning isn't as nice as not cleaning the filter but I don't mind. It's still quicker than vacuuming my place.
r/RobotVacuums • best bagless robot vacuum self-empty ->Love our shark with self emptying feature.
r/homeimprovementideas • Robot vacuum for home - what is the best under $500 ->We love our shark self emptying robot vacuum! Run it almost everyday.
r/CleaningTips • Are the robot vacuums worth it? ->I have 3 cats, love the shark self empty. It empties 2 or 3 times before its done. They stand by their products, sent me a new unit when the brush failed, came with a 3 yr warranty.
r/PetAdvice • Is a Robot vacuum worth it for Pet Hair? Best options under $200? ->I've tried shark and iRobot. Both self emptying. Shark lasted a few years, my iRobot is needing parts replacement after only 6 months. iRobot also requires you to buy their own waste bags. It doesn't work without them.
r/germanshepherds • Robot vacuum? Best ones? ->I have the Shark self emptying one and I LOVE it. It keeps the floors clean day to day and is surprisingly effective. I named it Clean Latifah.
r/CleaningTips • Will I regret getting a robot vacuum? ->Yeah, it was a process for us, but we finally got down to a manageable amount of toys to where my 3yo can help us pick up most nights, or at least get everything into the playroom and then we block that room off and run the vacuum as we're taking the kids up to bed. We have a small cabinet in the playroom so we can rotate toys, and I'll let her take one extra thing out at a time, but then she has to clean up before we get anything else out. I keep most of the multi pieces toys in there so it doesn't get too chaotic. With my 14mo walking around dropping crumbs everywhere it's nice to clean at least the downstairs most days.
r/toddlers • Moms of toddlers, what do you think of robot vacuums? ->I'm a SAHM and we just run ours as we're taking the kids up to bed each night. We also have an upstairs one (claimed our warranty for it running loud on our hardwood downstairs and they never asked for the other one back) and that one I run a couple times a week, but I just send it into the kids' rooms individually when they're downstairs playing and then run it for the rest of the upstairs. It doesn't seem to ever wake them from naps either, but we do have light white noise running in both their rooms. ETA: OP, if you're going to get one, splurge for the self emptying because if you have to empty it every time you're less likely to use it. We only have to empty ours like once a month and I have a 14mo and a 3yo who drop crumbs everywhere. I don't know the exact model, but both of ours are Shark and they work great for the price point. (And I think Costco sometimes has deals on them)
r/toddlers • Moms of toddlers, what do you think of robot vacuums? ->Not who you asked, but we have a Shark with a large self emptying bin and that thing is great for the price point. We've had it 2 years so far.
r/toddlers • Moms of toddlers, what do you think of robot vacuums? ->I've been using Roomba's for a while. I have 3 from super dumb to self-emptying... They've been pretty reliable and do a decent job... but are pricier. This year I bought a black friday Shark deal... self emptying... In just a few times of use I find that Shark is behind on the game. This makes me leery to try other manufacturers...
r/RobotVacuums • Hi everyone, I wanted to get my sister a robot vacuum. Amazon has a lot of sales going on. Wondering if anyone has favorite brands OR brands to stay away from? ->lol saw your post right above this one in the other sub. I’ll copy my comment here too in case: I’m with you and the only robot vacuum that didn’t clog or burn out was the self emptying shark one. It was so expensive but it’s been going three years strong. I turn it on while they’re crated and I’m at work and empty it when I get home. I’ve seen on the camera the poor guy making multiple trips to self empty while in one room but it’s cut the hair buildup tenfold. To me it was worth every penny

r/siberianhusky • Best robot vacuum? ->You still have to empty the base but in my experience it allows it to do more than non self emptying. I use mine daily but I also empty the base daily once I get home. I also only use it when they’re up because they would absolutely eat it
r/siberianhusky • Best robot vacuum? ->I have had a Eufy model for 7 years and a Shark self-emptying for 2 years. Love them both, but the Eufy gets tangled and stuck so I have to prep the area. The Shark has a never-stuck option so once it is stuck and you untangle it, then it remembers and will not get stuck again. Both work well and are reliable. You need to manually turn them off if you will be gone for a long time (not sure why). I empty the Shark twice a month and clean the filter. It is scheduled to vacuum twice weekly.
r/CleaningTips • Will I regret getting a robot vacuum? ->Second the shark self emptying one. They do very well with all the hair.
r/husky • Best robot vacuum...for all the hair? ->We have a self-emptying Shark for our gsd, gsd/husky mix, and 2 cats. If it doesn't get run at least once a day, the roller brush will get clogged. We also do supplement vacuuming hard to reach spots with a stick vac.
r/germanshepherds • Robot vacuum? Best ones? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
