"auto empty mop station; this is the real standout feature for me. ... It's super easy to hook up the two hoses under your sink. ... The dock slides nicely under the toe kick of your cabinets and the robot will auto fill and drain the mop. ... No reservoirs of funky dirty water to deal with, it's all just pumped away. ... The dock requires no direct power, rather it runs off the robots power when it docks."
"it has a roller mop, and it dumps dirty mop water into my main, instead of a bucket."
"I have it hooked up to my kitchen plumbing system so it's pretty convenient. ... I rarely have to do anything except just run a cleaning cycle at night when going to bed and wake up to a clean house."

"rubber anti tangle brush; it's a great design and so easy to clean if I need to (two girls with long hair in the house)"
"The vacuum brush is also tangle resistant as I haven’t had to clean it since March which is when I got it."

"the S10 is acting a bit funky on the current firmware though."
"it chews wires more than my roborock, like 2-3 out of 30 days, but I have to save it as it will pause cleaning amd cannot dock."

I've got the switchbot S10. I'm impressed with it. In fact, impressed enough that I just bought another one for the second floor while they have their sale on. 319 quid at the moment. I had some issues with the first one. Their quality control is maybe a bit off and it didn't work. But they immediately replaced it. Took a few weeks because they messed up the shipping and tried to ship from Germany and for some reason couldn't sort the import duties. I refused to pay the duties, even though the said they'd pay me back (I'm sure they would have) so they sent it from Hong Kong instead. So basically, they seem like a decent and honest company that will fix their mistakes. Maybe a little disorganised. I suspect they may be growing quickly so some of their processes are a bit screwy. But even with a faulty device delivered and a wait for a new one I bought a second one so that says something I guess. Their support is good. The devices are excellent. Their processes maybe are a bit disorganised.
I don't quite think that's accurate. A number of people got the K10+ pro when I recommended it for Prime Day and bothered to post on here how happy they were. As a brand, I really like Switchbot and I don't think it ever gets enough attention. The K10+ Pro and K11 are WAY better than they ought to be w their stats. I've tested both. I don't love the S10 or S20, but those minibots? Magic.
I was torn between the S10R and the Z70, but I ended up going for the Z70 because of the robotic arm and honestly the suction power and obstacle avoidance are perfect. My place has a pretty complicated layout, but I never have to worry about it getting stuck anywhere.
We've had it for about a year. Our original one ended up with problems using the water station that a lot of people online seemed to report, but switchbot sent us a replacement for free, and I think they must've been improving their manufacturing/QC processes because we've not had an issue since and the reports online are more commonly from earlier purchases. There are lots of competitors now with similar features compared with when it first came out, but it does a very good job of mopping in our opinion, due to its weight being on the roller, and having the water station plumbed in against the kickboard of a cabinet in the utility room is brilliant, we don't have to worry about doing anything with it (besides occasionally removing and detangling/cleaning its rollers and side brush), especially as the dust bags seem to last a long time before being full, too. It does a very good job of navigating around corners and furniture without hitting them, staying literally about a centimetre away from the obstruction. Our only criticism at this point would be that you have to be careful with thin rugs/doormats, as the mop roller will happily try and eat them on the odd occasion it hits the corner of one at an angle that means the switch to just vacuum mode isn't triggered. We've used some special rug tape stuff to stick down a couple of mats and two cowhides.
Dreame X40 Master. I had the switchbot S10 and its light years better.
I have the Switchbot S10 and it's been excellent. It has the roller mop and it does a great job. The vacuuming is also very good. I have it hooked up to my kitchen plumbing system so it's pretty convenient. I rarely have to do anything except just run a cleaning cycle at night when going to bed and wake up to a clean house. The app is not bad either. Though it might struggle with high rise rugs
I have the switchbot s10 for about 7 months now...only issue is the obstacle avoidance could be better; other than that, no other issues. It runs smoothly. Also it's cheaper than others with discount code. For the (discounted) price, it's worth it.
I'm very happy with my switchbot s10. I change the bag once every couple of months. I wouldn't call it silent, but it hasn't annoyed me, and you can adjust the suction power lower to make it quieter if you need to. Never runs into anything.
I have a Switchbot S10, and you can barely tell it mopped (I can feel a little moisture on the floor of I touch it, but I can't really see it). I think yours does a better job mopping.
I still have my Roomba 770 that I bought at a Best Buy in 2012 for $450 🤣. It lives in the basement now, and I go down there every now and then to empty it and blow out the filters. I run a SwitchBot mop/vacuum on the main level now. I don't really need a robot vacuum down in the basement, but as long as it still works that's what I'll use it for. I've replaced the battery pack a couple of times since I bought it, and when this one wears out (or something else stops working) I'll send it off to recycling. At the time I bought it, it was the way to go. But by modern standards it's extremely primitive.
Those are quite different machines to be honest. The switchbot S10 wash station I'm pretty sure requires plumbing into a drain and clean water line. Is that even allowed in your apartment? It has a roller style mop which continuously self cleans and puts the dirty water into a separate tank, and also lifts up for going over rugs. But as a result the robot is quite big. The wash station and self empty/charge stations are separate so theres a lot more to store. The roborock is much smaller, both the robot and the station. It's mopping system is completely basic, just a cloth it wets and wipes across the floor. You then have to remove the mop and manually clean it. The mop also can't lift, so to vacuum rugs you must remove the mop attachment. It's a lot less complicated though so theres less to go wrong, but it's also a very new model so nobody is going to be able to speak about reliability. If you care about simplicity and mainly vacuuming the roborock is probably the best choice. The switchbot is a really big machine and requires plumbing. Reliability is a complete toss up pretty much no matter what you choose unfortunately. Robot vacuums are complicated with lots of tiny moving parts which increases the chance of something breaking.
I use the S10 and it’s great overall. I have to give its tanks and roller a clean out once a month, but not having to empty/fill water is amazing. And I managed to install the water dock myself, once I figured out the gaskets which the video demo didn’t mention lol 2 Docks, 1 Bot (SwitchBot S10 Review) https://youtu.be/QYpqLe076Q4
I’ve only tried the SwitchBot S10 and K10 from that list, but I do recommend them both. And they finally just added support for Siri Shortcuts to clean a specific room, which is a MASSIVE quality of life improvement!
Newer ones can be very good, the main things I recommend getting right are: - Obstacle avoidance, usually needs LiDAR and camera to do well (otherwise you spend all your time rescuing them) - Per room automation option in your preferred ecosystem (none of the vacuums I’ve had chance to use ever had this until a recent update to the SwitchBot S10 which added per room Siri Shortcuts and has been a game changer) - Docks which are low maintenance (self emptying, with large capacity for dust, and mains water connection for mopping)
I use Switchbot S10, has matter built in and you can add it to homekit for basic functions.
