I don't quite think that's accurate. A number of people got the K10+ pro when I recommended it for Prime Day and bothered to post on here how happy they were. As a brand, I really like Switchbot and I don't think it ever gets enough attention. The K10+ Pro and K11 are WAY better than they ought to be w their stats. I've tested both. I don't love the S10 or S20, but those minibots? Magic.

# [Under $300](https://amzn.to/48R0G4J) Generally speaking, I think its rare you find a great robot at this price, and I've discussed why there's some sense in [not spending the money on real discount robots](https://www.whatrobotvacuumshouldiget.com/2025/06/20/are-budget-robot-vacuums-worth-buying/). Still... there are a few gems worth looking at, as more expensive models drop under this threshold. If you've got a smaller place, or a place with many floor objects, try a Switchbot. Because they're so small, they can get between chair legs and make a small radius around things. Switchbot just doesn't get enough attention, IMO. Lots of people purchased the K10+ Pro on my recommendation during Prime Day and have posted about how happy they are. The 11 made the tower smaller and improved some other specs, but is mostly the same model. The perfect apartment, studio, or office vac. Performs spectacularly well as a vacuum, particularly given the price and stats, but it is ONLY a vacuum. If you're more concerned about a mop, get the 3i. (its great at both, to be clear, but it has the best mop of the bunch). I really like the 3i brand, they're not new, they've been making robots for other companies for years. The G10 is stripped down from premium models, but it had the same sweeper>roller design that is so effective on the higher end models. If you're looking for a carpet forward model, Eureka is the only legacy vacuum brand that successfully transitioned to robots that work. While no brand has great customer service anymore, there's a benefit to Eureka being US based. No waiting 24 hours for a response. |**Model**|**Original Price**|**BDD Price**|**Discount**| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[SwitchBot Robot Vacuum K11+](https://amzn.to/4mOxq1O)|399.99|224.99|44%| |[3i G10+](https://amzn.to/48znS7N)|$449.99|$269.99|40%| |[Eureka E20 Plus](https://amzn.to/4mOwQBd)|449.99|299.99|33%| # [Under $500](https://amzn.to/4o4MPMA) Were seeing some amazing deals in this price band. That L40 Ultra has dropped from the original price of $1499 to under $500. So many people have been grabbing this model since Prime Day and most of them report being quite happy. While it wouldn't have been my favorite at a higher price, at this price, you're getting a premium model at an absurd sale price. I absolutely love the 3i current line up. The vacuum and mop are both fantastic and the app-easy. This is basically my top pick (3i S10 Ultra) minus the dehumidifier. The P10 still has the great sweep/roller design and gets up debris no other brand can without getting clogged. Get this one if you're concerned about larger debris. The Eureka is better than it should be. I loved the sweeper design, it moved debris off hard floors and carpet very effectively and would be my pick for carpet. Rarely got stuck on anything or reported errors, and it was just really reliable. I recommended this model during Prime Day, and got a lot of good feedback from folks who picked it up. |**Model**|**Original Price**|**BDD Price**|**Discount**| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Dreame L40 Ultra](https://amzn.to/48Rswhk)|$799.99|$469.99|41%   | |[Eureka J15 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4gUYACY)|699.99|489.99|30%| |[3i P10 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4h1Sy3y)|$1,099.99|$469.99|55%| # [Under $750](https://amzn.to/4nypaUV) Roborock has won my loyalty over the past few years by producing consistently reliable robots, and the S5A is no different. A variant of the Qrevo line, with spinning mop heads that extend. While Roborock may produce an absurd number of models, and the S5A is no exception, they are reliable for an exceptional app experience, with intuitive setting locations, great support and good hardware with easy to find replacement parts. The L40S is the best of both worlds. A premium vac, at a not premium price for now. This is the model with the best balance on this list, of vacuum and mop. It improves over the L40 in the previous band with better nav and suction. Finally, if you want to emphasize mopping, Narwal does it really well. My two issues w this model are that it uses a ridiculous amount of water and there's a giant button on top of the machine your pet or kid will want to bop. If you don't mind refilling a lot, and you dig into the settings to lock the button (or don't have kids/pets) this is ideal. |**Model**|**Original Price**|**BDD Price**|**Discount**| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Narwal Freo Z Ultra (White Version)](https://amzn.to/46IEhUI)|$1,499.99|$550.00|63%| |[Roborock Qrevo Edge S5A](https://amzn.to/46ZYXI5)|$999.99|$649.99|35%| |[Dreame L40s Ultra](https://amzn.to/4o5ARCv)|$1,099.99|$749.99|32%| # [Under $900 ](https://amzn.to/4oad9oS) From the day it was released, I thought the Curv was a steal, most of the premium features of the S8 line, at a better price with improvements to the sweeps, extending out beyond the robot. The CurvX improves on the Curv with higher Pa and better nav. I do think its a better vacuum than mop. The X9 is a better mop than vacuum. but other than getting clogged here and there, was generally a good vacuum, and this is a reasonable price for it. Eureka is the best surprise this year. The J15 line is consistent and reliably performing. I love the sweeps, its a very effective mop and carpet cleaner and offers US based support. |**Model**|**Original Price**|**BDD Price**|**Discount**| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Ecovacs x9 Pro Omni](https://amzn.to/46CySzK)|$1,599.00|$899.00|44%| |[Eureka J15 Max Ultra](https://amzn.to/46UkK3x)|1199.99|$899.00|25%| |[Roborock Qrevo CurvX](https://amzn.to/48PvS4j)|$1,499.99|$899.99|40%| # [Over $900 ](https://amzn.to/48OKBMY) In this band are my top two recommendations. Let's start with my favorite robot of all time (a BIG statement). 3i has been making robots for other brands for a while, but the 3i is their first flagship. The S10 Ultra blew me away and became the only robot I've ever kept after testing. It will vacuum anything, without getting stuck or clogged. I mean, giant pieces of mulch. No problem. It cleans water on its own and generates more from the air, so it truly is set it and forget it. Totally autonomous. I've been yapping about it for months, and of everyone who bought it during Prime Day, I'd say people were split, 60/40. Most loved it, but some complained of a musty smell, which makes sense, since the unit is basically a dehumidifier (that's how it generates water). I've had mine for 6 months and don't notice a smell in a very wet state (Oregon), but it seems like something worth noting. So let's talk about the Flow. I tested the Dreame and Narwal roller mops, (and previously, the Eufy roller mops). Everyone is obsessed with roller mops, but the Flow is the first one I recommend. The flow improves on the Freo Z and X by not needing to be refilled constantly, and the vacuum improves over all other Narwal models. I still don't think roller mops are the end all/be all, so I wouldn't recommend dropping $1500 of this model, but I do think the Flow is worth buying at this sale price. |**Model**|**Original Price**|**BDD Price**|**Discount**| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[3i S10 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4o7hKIe)|$1,899.99|$1,099.99|42%| |[Narwal Flow](https://amzn.to/3IxMoLX)|$1,499.99|$1,099.99|27%| If you're looking for ALL the models on sale for Big Deal Days, they're [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1nvsulx/every_robovac_on_sale_for_amazon_big_deal_days/) or s[ee all sales models at once](https://amzn.to/4nt1sJH). Hey. I've listed every [single price](https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1nvsulx/every_robovac_on_sale_for_amazon_big_deal_days/) for the Big Deal Days sale, and my recommendations [per price band](https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1nzbtex/big_deal_day_recommendations_by_price_band_these/). However, I'm getting the same questions over and over, so here's some additional context. # Best Robot for Long Hair (human or pet) Hair is the foil of all robot vacuums. It doesn't just wrap around the rollers, it also gets wrapped around the sweeps and the wheels, and while it doesn't hurt the robot, it will make it less effective, and require you to clean it more often. This isn't a problem with short haired pets (they have a different problem). Yes, having high suction is important, but it doesn't always translate to getting more debris up. In the case of long hair, nothing beats a razor cutter on the robot, and the only line that has one that I recommend is the Eureka J15 line. I like this line a lot for other reasons, too, but if you've got a long hair problem, this is the answer. There are J15s at a number of price points. [Eureka J15 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4gUYACY) [Eureka J15 Evo Ultra](https://amzn.to/42tMbQF) [Eureka J15 Max Ultra](https://amzn.to/46UkK3x) # Best Robot for Short Haired Pets Now, you have a different problem, which is sticky hair. Short hair sticks to the floor, it climbs the walls, and you need a sweep that will effectively get it off the ground and move it toward the roller, where the vacuum can capture it. The sweep plays a critical role here, and the sweeps that are most effective are large, in constant contact w the ground, and move in opposite directions. Eufy e25/e28 have the right design for this, but I don't recommend them for other reasons. The models that I've found that do this best are the 3i G10, P10 and S10. I love these models for other reasons, but those sweeps seal the deal for me on short hair. It's just a bonus that they are also the only models that can suck up cat litter without clogging. [3i G10+](https://amzn.to/48znS7N) [3i P10 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4h1Sy3y) [3i S10 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4o7hKIe) # Best Robot for Carpet If you've got a whole house of carpet, I like the Dreame X50, Dreame L40, Eureka J15 Ultra, and Switchbot K11+. That's not to say other robots suck at vacuuming, they don't. But I like these models specifically on carpet, and if you've just got one room with carpet, consider getting the K11+ for that room alone. Its cheap and great at navigating under beds, etc. [Dreame X50 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4h77Wfa) [Dreame L40 Ultra](https://amzn.to/48Rswhk) [Eureka J15 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4gUYACY) [SwitchBot Robot Vacuum K11+](https://amzn.to/4mOxq1O) # Best Robot for LVP Lots of people have LVP and want something specialized for it. In truth, there's nothing special about it. A robot good at hard floors will work for LVP. There aren't really robots that leave a lot of water behind anymore. # Best Robot for Area Rugs This is not a model specific problem, its a rug problem. Rugs have to be well anchored to the ground (a grip pad isn't going to cut it forever), and the lower the profile, the better. Think Ruggables. If a rug starts to roll up on an end, the robot is going to have trouble. If a rug has fringe, its a bad match for a robot. Even bathroom rugs are rough for robots. All that said, a robot with a lifting chassis is going to have an easier time getting onto a rug. Think X50, Saros 10/10r, CurvX. [Dreame X50 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4h77Wfa) [Roborock Qrevo CurvX](https://amzn.to/48PvS4j) [Saros 10/10r](https://amzn.to/4nyiwy5) # Best Robot for Small Spaces Get a Switchbot K11+. That is all. It's a vacuum only, but costs next to nothing, and is shockingly full of premium features. It also is a effective vacuum, getting into places no other robot can because of its size. [SwitchBot Robot Vacuum K11+](https://amzn.to/4mOxq1O) # Best Robot for Corners This doesn't exist. No robot is great at corners. In fact, most robots aren't great at the "edges" of rooms, they're mostly good at the main open area of a room. You have to let this go. The best you can do is get a robot with extending sweeps/brushes. A lot of robots have these now, and they're one of the best features. # Best Robot if You're Hellbent on a Roller Mop Everyone in this Reddit forum is convinced rollers are the end all/be all of mops. I disagree. They're fine. But if you're just absolutely determined to get one, get the Flow. Eufy's e25/e28 models were riddled with errors, and Dreame's roller mop leaks and streaks. The Flow was easily the best of the bunch. [Narwal Flow](https://amzn.to/3IxMoLX) # Best Robot for People with ADHD Also, my favorite robot. The point of a robot, for me, is autonomy. I want it to do the damn job, with as little required of me as possible. Otherwise, I might as well do the job myself. While most robots do help, they also require upkeep and new, consistent input. Change the water, change the filter, unclog it, find it where it got stuck on a cord, etc. And then, I tried the 3i S10, which i had zero expectations of, because I'd never heard of the brand. This is the robot to get if you're overwhelmed and just want the job done. It vacuums EVERYTHING without clogging. Does it silently. It mops well, and both makes its own water and sanitizes the water it recycles so you never have to change the water. It's got downsides: its effing HUGE and heavy. It looks like an exhibit at a science museum. Its expensive, and some people say it smells musty (it makes water via a dehumidifier, so that makes sense). But readers, I would marry mine. [3i S10 Ultra](https://amzn.to/4o7hKIe) \------------------------------- For some context, I [write about robovacs](https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1l48fms/i_write_about_robot_vacuums_for_a_living_ama/) both for an online pub and my own site. The 11 made the tower smaller and improved some other specs, but is mostly the same model. The perfect apartment, studio, or office vac. Performs spectacularly well as a vacuum, particularly given the price and stats, but it is ONLY a vacuum. I, personally, do not enjoy Eufy models, and on the whole, [did not enjoy the E20](https://lifehacker.com/tech/eufys-e20-robot-vacuum-ces-2025). I thought it was clunky and not particularly great at any of the 3 things it was trying to do, but people in this sub LOVE Eufy, so at this price point, if you're so determined, this is the one I'd get. In a similar vein, if you love Roborock, a brand I usually recommend highly, I usually think you should grab the most expensive one you can afford (with some exceptions). In this case, its the Q10 X5+, which is the least expensive RR model with auto empty. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[SwitchBot Robot Vacuum K11+](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1VV8DEM3PE45Q?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aip_sf_list_spv_s_ons_mixed_d_ZETGMH20VCWTGQZB8K55)|399.99|199.99|50%| |[3i G10+ (Extra 5% off code: G10USAVE5)](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/FVNUE2WZGPL6?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_DHPS311DEF2TY465HP1G_2)|449.99|229.99|49%| |[eufy Robot Vacuum 3-in-1 E20](https://amzn.to/4oi284o)|449.99|297.49|34%| |[Roborock Q10 X5+](https://amzn.to/4pDZjfb)|499.99|299.99|40%| # [Under $500](https://amzn.to/4o4MPMA) *If I were buying at this price point, I'd get:* The [Eureka J15 Ultra](https://lifehacker.com/tech/eurekas-j15-pro-ultra-robot-vacuum-mop-review) is better than it should be. I recommended this model during Prime Day, and got a lot of good feedback from folks who picked it up. *If you don't want to go with my top recommendation, I also recommend:* The Dreame L40 Ultra is a great deal at half off, and I thought it did a great job getting into spaces, but wasn't great at mapping originally when[ I tested it](https://lifehacker.com/tech/dreame-l40-ultra-robot-vacuum-review). But it was a damn good vacuum, and a pretttty ok mop. if you find that take disappointing, at this price point, you're still asking a lot of a robot, so set expectations appropriately. I mention the Ecovacs T30S for the same reason as the Eufy 3-in-1. Altho I found it a bit of a pain to put away attachments each time you wanted to use the handheld, I can see the advantage of having a combo unit instead of separate stick and robot. And, [in my review](https://lifehacker.com/tech/ecovacs-deebot-t30s-combo-review), I did think both did a relatively good job, and the sale on this unit is hard to ignore. *If you're determined to get a Eufy:* Get the X10 Pro Omni. it was the first Eufy in a while [I didn't hate](https://lifehacker.com/tech/eufy-x10-pro-omni-review), it was actually pretty decent. Its a lot more decent at this price point. *If you're determined to get a Roborock:* I liked the Qrevo line, altho I prefer the S8/Saros line for their mops. While the tech feels a little outdated to me, the S5V has a few little upgrades to the suction and the roller design that make it worthwhile at this price. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Eureka J15 Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1E209CQWY09EI?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_34VHK3G8D2127CHKQD4K_6)|699.99|489.99|30%| |[Dreame L40 Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1I876TQNP7R2I?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_34VHK3G8D2127CHKQD4K_4)|849.99|419.99|50%| |[Ecovacs T30S COMBO](https://amzn.to/4pxNCqa)|1199.99|449.99|63%| |[Roborock Qrevo S5V](https://amzn.to/48CuYYw)|899.99|499.99|44%| |[eufy X10 Pro Omni, black](https://amzn.to/4pTFKAp)|899.99|499.99|44%| # [Under $750](https://amzn.to/4nypaUV) At this price point, you are going to get some previous flagship, high end models that its reasonable to have high expectations of. *If I were buying at this price point, I'd get:* the 3i P10 Ultra. For a machine that does everything this does, as well as it does? This is the actual steal at this price point. It feels like a new brand, but its not, remember 3i has been making everyone else's robots for years. I'm so impressed w this model line, and I'm not the only one. Google around. *If you don't want to go with my top recommendation, I also recommend:* As a flagship, I thought the Ecovacs X9 Pro Omni [could do better](https://lifehacker.com/tech/ecovacs-deebot-x9-pro-omni-review) with large debris, but overall, was still impressed. What sticks out to me is how good looking it was. But with the price dropped to $700, I'm comfortable recommending it. The extending roller mop was my first to try, and I thought it did a good job as it reached to the wall and under toekicks. *If you're determined to get a Eufy:* I guess the S1 Pro? People in this sub love this model, [I did not](https://lifehacker.com/tech/eufy-omni-s1-pro-robot-vacuum-review), but it wasn't the worst. ::shrug:: *If you're determined to get a Roborock:* This time last year, I thought the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra was the [best unit on the market](https://lifehacker.com/tech/roborock-s8-maxv-ultra-review). It has the largest sweeps I've seen, and eats the biggest debris I've seen in a robot, all without getting clogged. It's the best roller mop I've tried (I tried the narwal and the dreame). And.... it has onboard sanitizing and makes its own water so you never have to change out the dirty water or refill it. [Here was my review](https://lifehacker.com/tech/3i-s10-ultra-robot-vacuum-mop-review). Now, that's the good stuff. It also weighs like 50 lbs. It looks like an exhibit at a kids science museum. Some people on here have said it smells mildewy (I haven't experienced that but it makes sense, it IS a dehumidifier, that's how it makes water). You can search for people's impressions and other reviews besides mine, but that's my #1 recco. *If you don't want to go with my top recommendation, I also recommend:* The Dreame L50 Ultra has a noticeable discount, and has many of the charms [I admired in the X50](https://lifehacker.com/tech/dreame-x50-ultra-robot-vacuum-review), like some threshold climbing, some major suction, and hot water cleaning. *If you're determined to get a Roborock:* In this price bracket are both the Roborock Slim, the Qrevo and the CurvX. Here's why I ultimately say, go with the CurvX. With the retracting LIDAR, you're still getting a pretty slim robot (though, of course, not AS slim as the Slim), and for $50 more the Curv/Slim, get the CurvX, which has more suction, hot water washing, etc |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Dreame L50 Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1H34OZE61D1JV?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_34VHK3G8D2127CHKQD4K_3)|1399.99|849.99|39%| |[Roborock Qrevo CurvX](https://amzn.to/48d8bm9)|1499.99|849.99|43%| |[3i S10 Ultra (Extra 5% off code: S10USAVE5)](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/30BOBXMFSK3WK?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_DHPS311DEF2TY465HP1G)|1299.9|899.99|31%| # [Over $900](https://amzn.to/48OKBMY) This is where all the heavy hitters fell. My friend K says that the reason I'm trustworthy is that I'm always telling him to not buy things. So let me start here with what I'm NOT recommending, because you'll ask. I know everyone is excited about the Dreame Aqua and the Narwal Flow, but I think there are better roller mops out there, and I didn't feel either was significantly better than similarly priced non roller mops (the 3i S10). I really didn't love the Aqua, it leaked. The Flow was better. But not better than my picks in this category. The Saros Z70 is a fantastical concept I got super excited about, but wasn't great in practice. I haven't tested the X11, so that's my only reason I'm not recommending it. So what I DO recommend: The two models below are both excellent vacuums, mops and all around robots. They are highly comparable and while you could make yourself crazy comparing, stop. You'll be delighted with EITHER. I promise. These are great sale prices. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Dreame X50 ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1H34OZE61D1JV?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_34VHK3G8D2127CHKQD4K_1)|1699.99|999.99|41%| |[Roborock Saros 10R](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/3QN77VNVN022D?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aip_sf_list_spv_s_ons_mixed_d_3GVYP91HJC73QH3A2XK1)|1599.99|999.99|34%| If you're looking for ALL the models on sale for Black Friday, they're [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/comments/1p2d4qy). I've been testing and reviewing robovacs (and other smart home products) for a few years. I test products in my home, rather than an obstacle course, but I am the only one who tests each machine, so its apples to apples. I also have a messy house- pitted tile, rugs, wood floors, and carpet, with a few high transitions. I have a dog (and occasionally, chickens who breach the doggie door to come inside) and am a very physical cook, according to my kitchen floor. You definitely do not have to agree with my choices, but I think I have a different viewpoint than a lot of other outlets, mostly because I am the person responsible for cleaning my home, and I make all buying decisions. I want robots to be the accessibility and labor removing dream of the future, but I like to set realistic expectations. **Under $200** Cheap robots are getting better, and one of my absolute favorites is in this category. But generally speaking, these are vacuums. Yes, they come with mops, but those mops suck. Ignore them and enjoy a cheap, usually pretty good vacuum for the price. Pay attention, because at this price point, some models don't come with towers, meaning you have to empty them yourself, every day or so (unless you live in a VERY clean home). The SwitchBot is tiny. Its like a little M&M moving around your floor, but one that comes with ridiculously high suction power for the price, and a tower. It can get into spaces no other bot can, and it does it shockingly well. Its good on carpet, but shines on hard floors. If you've got carpet, go with the Eureka- its got a dock AND its bagless (which is a big deal to some people). But Eureka has just really figured out how to get a robot to deal with carpet well. I am also a big fan of the 3i G10. I included the Roborock, because look at that price drop, and RR's are, IMO, very reliable. Again... all three of these models have mops. They suck. Don't use them. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Roborock Q8 Max black](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/3JOR6YW9B5G7Y?ref_=aipsflist)|$599.99|$169.99|72%| |[Eureka E20 Robot Vacuum](https://amzn.to/40S3qde)|$309.00|$176.99|43%| |[SwitchBot Robot Vacuum K11+](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1VV8DEM3PE45Q?ref_=aipsflist)|$399.99|$199.99|50%| **Under $350** Its not even close here. That Dreame L10s was a flagship model, with the features to match. While this particular drop isn't high, this was once an over 1000$ model. Its got a great mop, (spinning pads, no rollers in this price band), sanitizes the pads in the tower, high suction, great nav. I've included the Eureka, even with a not great discount, because if you have a LOT of carpet, you might want to consider it instead. The Eufy in this price band and the Roborocks all have dramatically less features, they're budget robots. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Eureka E20 Evo Plus](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/3B7PW181H2UKM?ref_=aipsflist)|$299.99|$249.99|17%| |[Dreame L10s Pro Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/1F74O472G0T4G?ref_=aipsflist)|$449.99|$349.98|22%| **Under $500** On features alone, the L40 is the best buy. Outrageous suction, hot water wash, it has a cutter for long hair, etc. BUT.... that Qrevo, despite having less than half the suction of the L40, is better at vacuuming on hard floors and carpet. two reasons: Roborocks are good at positioning the sweep/rollers/suction in a way that works, and also, having a dual roller rather than one helps keep tangles from happening, the extending arm helps a lot to grab under things. I've included the S1, a robot I could not have been less enthused about when [I tested it](https://lifehacker.com/tech/eufy-omni-s1-pro-robot-vacuum-review), because people love Eufys (I don't) and they love a roller mop. This is the cheapest one available. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/2FZ74K5V0W0ZT?ref_=aipsflist)|$649.99|$399.99|38%| |[Eufy S1](https://amazn.so/iVBNAFI)|$1,299.99|$499.99|62%| |[Roborock Qrevo S5V](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/24B0YJFIE6TTB?ref_=aipsflist)|$899.99|$499.99|44%| **Under $750** I'm not ashamed to say my flabber was gasted by how competent the Yeedi S16 is. It managed to get the kitchen sparkle-clean after a full day of canning where the floor was a mess. It got debris easily, navigated complicated layouts and did a great job mopping. It had issues with bathmats, but all robots do. The X9 was a far [better mop than vacuum](https://lifehacker.com/tech/ecovacs-deebot-x9-pro-omni-review) when I tested it as a flagship, but at this lower price, I have few complaints. Its a gorgeous robot and tower, and its a roller mop and people are convinced they're better (I'm iffy, but that's neither here nor there). Finally, I could not let you pass on the J15, which I love as a deep cleaning vacuum with a good mop, but its definitely vacuum forward (and I mean on hard floors, too). The Eurekas have a very well designed triad of big sweep, roller and suction that gets a lot of debris, but more importantly, there's a razor that cuts long hair so it doesn't clog. I'm a fangirl, for sure. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[Yeedi S16 Plus](https://amazn.so/syHBN9e)|$899.99|$649.99|28%| |[ECOVACS DEEBOT X9 PRO OMNI](https://amazn.so/mT8uLzT)|$1,299.99|$679.00|48%| |[Eureka J15 Pro Ultra](https://amzn.to/4t0faGm)|$999.99|$699.99|30%| **Under $1000** The hill I will die on is that the 3i S10 Ultra is the best robovac, ever. It has it all: Gigantic sweeps which get everything, rollers that never clog, suction that actually picks everything off the floor. A roller mop that works really well. But... sit down. The damn thing sanitizes dirty water and then makes new water by acting as a dehumidifier. *You never change the water.* Like, ever. Sure, it weighs like 70lbs and looks like a kids science museum exhibit, but its quiet and perfect and the child I always wanted :) There have been rumors of 3i's demise, a complicated story involving their company buying iRobot. But.. I have spoken to 3i and they assure me there is absolutely no news about them closing the 3i brand. And, this is is a good price for it (it was $1899 last year). But... if you're gunshy on a "new" brand.... I can make things easy. People are always trying to decide between the Dreame X50 and the Roborock Saros 10/10r. Get the Dreame (its such a steal at this price, and I didn't see a big difference between the X50 and X60 in testing). They try to decide between the Narwal Flow and the Dreame Aqua. Get the Flow (the Aqua leaked). And then, I have to always remind people how freaking awesome the Eureka J15 line is at vacuuming. |Model|Original Price|Sale Price|Discount| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |[3i S10 Ultra](https://amazn.so/jEfBGlZ)|$999.99|$799.99|20%| |[DREAME X50 Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/2TBXG31JJKDAZ?ref_=aipsflist)|$1,599.99|$849.99|47%| |[Narwal Flow](https://amazn.so/C7hNQxp)|$1,499.99|$899.99|40%| |[Eureka J15 Max Ultra](https://www.amazon.com/shop/amandablumstiktok/list/ZVLS0BAELRF2?ref_=aipsflist)|$1,199.99|$899.99|25%| **Over $1000** A testament to how robot prices are coming down, I don't think you should spend more than $1000 right now. There's nothing in that band that I think is a great buy or necessary. If you love to tinker or have a kid that does, there's a good price on the Saros Z70, but its for tinkering. I didn't love it at cleaning, and its an expensive tinker toy. I'm testing the Saros 20 right now, so nothing to report yet. And I don't think anything else in that band stands out. Spend less. **Some notes on recommendations** Whenever I do this, the comments often ask, "but what about the xxxxxx?" or "why didn't you recommend the xxxx?". The answers are, in this order, "it wasn't as good as what I recommended", and "because I didn't want to" :P If you still want to buy something I didn't recommend, go for it! For instance, I am not recommending any iRobots right now. I'm happy they were acquired and really excited at what Picea (which owns 3i) may bring to the brand. But the existing lineup sucks. I'm iffy on Ecovacs, and at certain price points they're worth recommending, but I've never found a flagship I thought was great. People love Eufy bots, but I've rarely been impressed. Still, one made the list. I based this list on what was for sale, not every robot available. I think these are good buys and I think you should buy them from Amazon or Costco. Costco, if you can, because of their return policy, and Amazon because they hassle you less on returns than the brands themselves, do, a real swing and a miss for the brands, IMO. I just got the switchbit k11 a few days ago for my modest apartment. Cheap and effective! I don't bother much with the "mop" feature since it's just a wet napkin basically.

Robot vacuums are amazing, just give your place a scope beforehand and make sure that it would be accessible by the robot; they are larger than you think - unless you go for the Switchbot K11 and the suction and mopping there is best for much smaller places. Chose one with a decent storage tank, especially if mopping, and good suction. Eufy are very good.

Thanks for the recommendation. Picked up two (two floors) and they are tiny yet mighty. Very impressive.

I got one during the last Amazon sale and it's worked great for me. I'm coming from a dumber Eufy model, but so far I'm loving this little thing. Plenty of suction, keeps up with the pet hair fine, gets in much tighter spaces than my old robovac, and doesn't get stuck in spots thanks to the better logic and mapping. As everyone points out, the mopping function isn't a selling point. It picks up a little crud, but then the pad dries out and it's doing nothing the rest of its run. Ignore that function or just don't expect much from it. I'd definitely recommend the K11+.

Curv, Saros 10 & 10R, SwitchBot S10 & K11+, and Dreame X40 owner. I like the detergent dispenser. I don’t have to add detergent to the water tank each time and it’s much more convenient since I mop and vacuum 2x a day so I change the tanks every 3-4 days. If you use a disinfecting floor detergent like I do, there won’t be a nasty smell on the dirty water tanks. Most of the reviews are going to be in Chinese because the Curv 2 Pro isn’t in most of the western part of the world yet. Not having a detergent dispenser isn’t a deal breaker; I just want larger water tanks so I don’t have to change it so often. 4L is too small, I’d be fine with a much larger dock if it means larger water tanks

I had an older Roomba that I rehabilitated. It lasted a few years but I had to untangle the brush at least once a week. I recently had a shark that was supposed to be good for pets. It lasted a couple of years. Weekly de-tangling. Just returned a switchbotK11+. It kept leaving rolls of pet hair so over the place. Looking the Dreame so far. My wife kinda like the mopping function.

If station size matters, check out the switchbot k11 or the ecovacs deebot mini. Both have much smaller dock compared to the usual one, so they fit in tight spots easily. They're not flagship models, but for a small apartment, they should handle the basics just fine.
