I don't quite think that's accurate. A number of people got the K10+ pro when I recommended it for Prime Day and bothered to post on here how happy they were. As a brand, I really like Switchbot and I don't think it ever gets enough attention. The K10+ Pro and K11 are WAY better than they ought to be w their stats. I've tested both. I don't love the S10 or S20, but those minibots? Magic.

The switchbot s20 is not a great vacuum or a great mop.

I was doing maintenance on my network and unblocked it while changing its IP address. I didn't immediately block it again because I didn't think it was a pressing matter, but 2 hours later my vacuum automation failed to run. After some troubleshooting I learned that nearly 2 months prior a firmware update came out from Tapo that changed its authentication method on the vacuum to some propriety bullshit that breaks 3rd party integrations. It's been broken ever since and the dev for the Home Assistant integration was struggling to get it working so I dumped the vacuum and got a Switchbot S20.

I can confirm that Switchbot vacuums integrated with Home Assistant don't allow you to mop or vacuum only, you HAVE to do both.

I started with an Dufy X8Pro SNES which was great but I wanted a dedicated mop. I moved to the SwitchBot S20 it's only been a few months but the vacuum and mopping is really impressive. It also has a camera to spot cables etc Once set up you can customise each room. So far I'm impressed. I have installed the SwitchBot S20 robot vacuum and mop and I have been impressed with how it performs compared to our previous vacuum. I have written a review here [https://www.thesmarthome.blog/switchbot-s20-review-a-major-leap-forward/](https://www.thesmarthome.blog/switchbot-s20-review-a-major-leap-forward/) I particularly like the AI obstacle feature. I have added it to HomeKit. I have managed to also add it to HA but the features don't seem to go beyond status and basic control. Has anyone any recommend integrations?

In HomeKit? Yes works well, just no real mopping feature, great mini hoover for upstairs.

I love this one: [https://www.thesmarthome.blog/switchbot-s20-review-a-major-leap-forward/](https://www.thesmarthome.blog/switchbot-s20-review-a-major-leap-forward/) does a great job too.

I still love my Switchbot S20 however it plays nice in HomeKit but although it shows in HA and it displays the current actions that are happening I can't seem to get it to automate. [https://www.thesmarthome.blog/switchbot-s20-review-a-major-leap-forward/](https://www.thesmarthome.blog/switchbot-s20-review-a-major-leap-forward/) it cleans and mops very well in need though.

I got a Switchbot. It has a little base that hooks up to the plumbing, so it fills and empties itself from there. I add cleaning solution once every few months. Also an actually good mop, no pads. One day I’m going to figure out how to make it water my plants for me.

I got a Switchbot because it seems to do the best job actually mopping, and that was my primary use case. Hard to explain but it does more than drag a dirty mat across the floor, like it has a proper roller that it cleans while it goes. Plus it has a little base you can hook up to the plumbing in the bathroom, kitchen, etc. that it can fill and empty from, so no need to manually manage any of that. Was really annoyed that it doesn’t have all the features accessible in home assistant that it does in its own app or HomeKit, but I think I can rig something together with the latter. Still mad tho. It’s also pretty big. It also doesn’t need internet to work, and is significantly cheaper than other options. The plumbing thing is really cool, and opens up a lot of possibilities. Like I bet I could rig it together to water my plants.

I got a switchbot. Runs over matter so after the initial setup I can yoink its internet access no problem. Was stoked that there’s a way to hook it up to your plumbing so it emptied and refills from there, without me having to do that. Was annoyed to find that the room map and being able to tell it to clean a specific area doesn’t exist on the HA integration, you can basically just tell it to run or not. It is possible to set that up in homekit tho, and I’ve seen some people use workarounds for it that way. I think that’s also just through matter, so am hoping to see that functionality built into HA.

It's upside over the switchbot (which I own) is the spinning mop pads. The switchbot just drags a wet wipe around the floor.

Yeah those swiffer pad junk was garbage. Switchbot didn't do too well with the roller in my testing video. Oddly the Eufy S1 besides a battery failure has been doing well in my tests. Crazy it can pick up dried muddy foot prints.
