I have the Mi one (not sure if the model) and it’s quite impressive, has been running for 2+ years with no issues at all!

I had an original xiaomi robot from like 2016 that worked super well. It's only problem was that xiaomi made it so that you couldn't access the app from the US. So it would work great except you couldn't schedule cleanings, you had to manually start. I wanted to autonate so I bought two Eufy x8 pro SES units ( one for each floor) and that has worked fantastically. I gave the old unit to a friend and they are still using it

I have always wanted the iRobot vacuums to be good. My "go to" move until a year or so ago was to get iRobots. I've had several iRobot machines over the years. Not one of them has been of acceptable quality. The first good robot vacuum I had was a xiaomi from about 2015 that a friend got me. If they hadn't made it impossible for that model to connect to the Chinese server, I'd still be using it I've been pretty happy with my Eufy robots. They hit the right mix of inexpensive, quality, and features.

My old original Xiaomi MI robot vac has been going strong still with good battery life for over 8 years 😆 Just replaced the brush and filter a few times. I turn off when not in use once or twice a week to reduce battery depredation.

Yup, that's the answer, Valetudo the only truly local robot vaccum intégration in home assistant, and the l10s works wonders (from what i heard, I'm running a cheap Xiaomi mija robot vaccum on Valetudo) Roborock do have a "local polling" intégration, but you still need to have your robot be able to talk to roborock servers.
