I ran my old combo Xiaomi on the vacuum + mop mode as it couldn’t just mop by itself and with regular use, the motor became much louder.
r/Roborock • Qrevo slim first impressions - coming from someone who has never owned a robot vacuum ->Although it doesn’t have dustbin and dustbag drying, I’d check out the Xiaomi Vacuum Mop 5 or the Vacuum Mop 5 Pro which looks like a very solid cost effective option if priced at about half of its flagship peers from other brands.

r/RobotVacuums • I'm new, which vacuum should I get? ->The MOVA p50 pro ultra looks like a good choice. The Xiaomi vacuum mop 5 pro also looks good but the extra detergent offered with the MOVA and the dedicated detergent tank make it a better cost effective Choice
r/RobotVacuums • Choosing a robot vacuum in Malaysia ->No but I have their v50 and z60 ultra roller sent to be my MOVA as part of their Reddit collaboration program. I do notice that there seems to be a build quality issue with the p50 pro ultra mostly in the NA market where the front wheels break. Hopefully yours doesn’t have it but if you want it I’d still get from a retailer with a good return policy. However I do not know any retailers in Malaysia so I can’t really vouch for any in Malaysia. I personally lean more to the vacuum mop 5 pro since there’s that consistent Xiaomi support which has been pretty responsive and good in my experience when I got one as a gift from a family friend. Dreame and MOVA’s aftersales service should be handled by their distributor in the market they’re selling in for markets like south east Asia. As such, I have no idea how their customer service does in Malaysia as it can vary greatly compared to their reported customer service in the NA and Western European region which is handled by dreame’s and MOVA’s own customer service team. As for the dedicated detergent tank which is mainly used to wash its mops, which is common for models in this price range, adding about 20mL of robot safe detergent to the clean water tank does the trick if you want it to mop with detergent.
r/RobotVacuums • Choosing a robot vacuum in Malaysia ->The brush should work the same as the TriCut brush from dreame/MOVA. I only had the s10+ and the m30s (closest to the vacuum mop 5 and I only recommend it if you are in mainland china or their SARs as aftersales service is only possible if you ship it back to mainland china). Service with my s10+ was very good when something got stuck in the wheel. Build quality was very solid. I just didn’t like how it only vacuumed and mop and it died after a year or so since the vacuum motor absorbed all that liquid from the mop (the mop was set to the lowest moisture level). As such I prefer models that can vacuum first then mop as it greatly helps.
r/RobotVacuums • Choosing a robot vacuum in Malaysia ->i have this thing as well. Well, it works like a charm, though i haven't had any other robots before, i was sceptic about how it works. But it is doing really great job , in my opinion, it mopping even better than me xD. Mapping is a bit sketchy tho. It created map from first run, i did some adjustments, like no-go zones, and splitted some big rooms, but it could be better. Also there is no way right now to use this robot's map in homeassistant which i'm really waiting for. Integration into homeassistant is done via [https://github.com/al-one/hass-xiaomi-miot](https://github.com/al-one/hass-xiaomi-miot) and it shows many info, and allows for basic controls, like start\\stop and start full clean. Area/Room cleaning is not possible at the moment, so waiting for some updates.
r/RobotVacuums • Has anyone tried the new Xiaomi Vacuum Mop 5 or the Xiaomi Vacuum Mop 5 Pro? ->I got the pro model. Seems to work great, don't really have any comparisons to make but my apartment looks clean and its easy to use.
r/RobotVacuums • Has anyone tried the new Xiaomi Vacuum Mop 5 or the Xiaomi Vacuum Mop 5 Pro? ->I just got the 5 Pro this week. I was looking for a powerful vacuum cleaner with the minimum noise possible for less than $1,000. - The 5 Pro is 3 times more powerful than my working Roborock S7 and RoidMe Eve. - I used the Noise app on my Apple Watch to measure the noise. The noise levels are about that same, but there’s something in the 5 Pro that makes the noise less annoying. It’s softer or deeper, Not a screaming noise, although it’s about the same 69 dB. A hard to explain, pleasant surprise. - As for the cleaning, it does a really good job. It hoovered and mopped the floor and the water was gray… even though we had it cleaned a few hours earlier on the same day. - It’s not perfect though. I can’t get the map to recognize my house correctly. It’s a bit of a mess right now. I hope the robot updates and improves the map gradually. Also, it has not gone under the sofa and tv table (low areas), although it should do it after cleaning the rest of the areas. The other 2 robots do this without problems. This is maybe a map issue too, and should be solved with a new mapping. The battery: well, it does not last 120 min at full power. Maybe 90 min (have not measured this as there’s the mapping issue). For me, that means I need to continue using 2 robots vacuums at the same to get the all house cleaned as soon as possible (in 1 charge), otherwise I’d have to wait for the battery to recharge and carry on with the second half. (about 130 m of open space + 3 rooms). Overall, I’m glad I waited all this time to get a next get robot vacuum. Compared to my other 6,000 pA with no auto mop washing station, the 5 Pro is on the next level.
r/RobotVacuums • Has anyone tried the new Xiaomi Vacuum Mop 5 or the Xiaomi Vacuum Mop 5 Pro? ->It recognizes objects on the floor and marks them on the map. I think it goes around them. Not sure what it does. I just see the items on the map. I lift most things, chairs, toys, etc. https://preview.redd.it/r2br51jacoxf1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b8ca01a67897da623cf3b663e9ef37ceb854a6fd My other Robots pushed shoes and balls around. I liked that because they cleaned under the items. :D So far,the biggest issue for me is the mapping. (Not a small issue tbh). It’s a bit all over the place. Eg I tried adjusting room 3 size but the wall by room 1 does not stay where I leave it. Will keep on trying. I like being barefoot at home all day. We have a dog, wooden and concrete floors about (65/35) I can feel a nice difference. Worth it.

r/RobotVacuums • Has anyone tried the new Xiaomi Vacuum Mop 5 or the Xiaomi Vacuum Mop 5 Pro?
