I got a Yeedi M12 pro+, around $500. The app works fine, but I usually just yell at it to start cleaning most days. It can handle my low doorways (under 1cm). The station's neat though, washes and dries the mop pad, empties itself. Basically no work for me.

We have pets at home, and it actually handles the hair well, at least I don’t have to walk around with a lint roller every day.😂 It’s not going to get things 100% spotless, but it just makes things a lot more comfy. Especially on busy days, I honestly find it reliable.

r/HomeImprovement • What’s the one upgrade you’d add just to never deal with that chore again? ->Not the original commenter, but I had a cheap no name one and two sharks. Those three each lived about 18 months. I do use them heavily (at least 3x a week) but love them so much. I wouldn’t pay more than $300 for one that vacuums and mops with a station that cleans it. But that seems to be the sweet spot for me. Right now I have a shark and a yeedi. The yeedi app often stops working but the cleaning itself is fine.

While I can’t specifically compare it with the N30, I do feel that the M12 has done an amazing job for me so far. My downstairs is mostly manufactured hardwood with an area rug in my living room and a carpeted bedroom. It has done an amazing job so far. I have two cats…one of which is long haired and sheds. It has done a great job so far.
r/RobotVacuums • Yeedi M12 Pro+ vs Ecovacs Deebot N30 - which one would you pick for a family's first robot vacuum/mop? ->I just purchased a Yeedi M12. It has done very well so far, especially the mopping part. It automatically washes the mop periodically and exchanges the mop water. I found that it was even able to get up caked on Kitty vomit if I simply sprayed those areas with cleaning vinegar beforehand. I was pleasantly surprised. I avoided adding directly to the water as I thought it might potentially damage internal components. Vacuuming has also worked well. One minor issue is again dried up Kitty vomit. Mind you this only applied to vacuuming. There were occasions where it would stop because the roller became tangled. This was not at all unexpected though. Removing the clog was easy enough. Of course, if you set the cleaning remotely via the app this will pause all further cleaning pending action on your part . In my view, the couple hundred dollars above the most basic models is far worth it.

We used to have two dogs with our Roomba. The longer dog hair can get tangled, so you have to clean the brushes often. Now we have just the one short hair dog. The Yeedi (?) works well in the dog hair.
