I was in the same boat and I don't regret it at all. I actually looked at some yeedi models too, was gonna get the yeedi m14, but I ended up going with the s20 instead just because I really wanted a bagless one. But you can't go wrong with the m14 for kitchen grease. I gotta say the roller mop works pretty well, it doesn't smear dirty water around or leave any streaks.
Pretty much the same reason why I got the Yeedi M14. I wanted to try a model that doesn't smear dirty water everywhere, but I also didn't want to break the bank. I've been using it for a while now, and I'm really happy with it, much better than I expected.
For me, as long as it can navigate well, avoid small stuff and cables on the ground, auto-empty, and wash and dry the mop, that's more than enough. I got the Yeedi m14, and it's been easy to keep the floors free of hair and dust.
You might consider the Yeedi M14+. Amazing price for a roller mop on Amazon.
Yes. It is an excellent robot. Check the reviews on YouTube and read the Amazon reviews.
You might consider the Eufy S1 Pro Omni. Price/performance it can't be beat. I have it and it has performed extraordinary well. Obstacle avoidance is top notch and roller mopping is excellent. I tried the Aqua 10 Roller, Yeedi M14+ and the Z60 thinking newer is better. I returned all three. The Aqua 10 leaked. The Yeedi got stuck on carpet and the Z60 consistently got stuck on cantilever chairs. Newer is not always better.
1. Always ignore the advertised pascal values. They almost always don’t mean anything, especially by itself. 2. As a robot with an embedded spinning lidar, ecovacs, owner of yeedi, did not implement it well. I believe the eufy e25 is at a similar price. The yeedi M14 is a decent vacuum and mop robot. There definitely are longstanding issues with its app like dividing rooms. If that’s the case with your home, I’d return it and get a robot from a different brand as they usually don’t have this issue. I just don’t recommend its flagship sibling model because other robots at the same price do better. As a general statement; Just not all robots are good moppers by virtue as it has a roller mop. The more important thing is how it is implemented. This is also the case with navigation as we’ve seen brands with the same navigation setup of a lidar tower have different results when it comes to navigation. The DJI romo, relying on solid state dToF sensors (like the Saros 10R) and radar appears to be the best navigating robot yet doesn’t have a lidar tower.
My L20 Ultra just died after 18 months. I have a 3 year warranty on it i guess, but honestly I dont even want to deal with the headache or nightmare that is customer service and warranty. It Stopped taking clean water. I replaced it with a Yeedi M14 a few days ago. Meh.. Yeedi is LOUD, battery life sucks ass, no camera, has gotten stuck once a day so far (dreame almost never, ever got stuck). LOUD, makes weird noises. IDK. I think this guy is going back and Ill buy a MOVA or Dreame again
All three you listed are good budget options for mixed floors + pets, but they’re slightly different. Yeedi M14+ is solid value and simple. Mova P10 Pro Ultra is strong on mapping & suction, great on vinyl + carpet. Dreame L40 is very similar to the Mova and often cheaper. If I had to pick one for pets + mixed floors around ~$500, I’d lean Mova or Dreame.
honestly I wouldn’t go with either of these. First off, don’t touch Shark with an 800-foot pole. Their robot vacuums are underbaked and overpriced, and the tech is a few generations behind companies like Roborock, MOVA, and Dreame. If you have to pick between the two, the Roborock will give you a much better overall experience and a way better app than whatever the hell Shark pretends is inside theirs. If you’re dealing with pets, I’d personally go with the MOVA P10 Pro Gen 1 and grab the tri-cut brush. That brush makes short work of hair. I’d also take the Gen 1 over the Gen 2. The Gen 1 has slightly less suction, but it has a camera, which massively helps obstacle avoidance. Some people will claim the Gen 2 is great at avoidance, but no reviewer has actually found that compared to the Gen 1. Another great option is the Yeedi M14. The big perk there is the roller mop. If there’s mud or wet spills, it can actually deal with it, unlike plate mops or Shark’s vibrating pad, which basically push gray water around. Roller mops use an active scraper that constantly pulls dirt off the roller. Plate and vibrating mops still have their place, especially when paired with dirt detection like the Gen 1 MOVA P10 Pro has, but if you want the simplest answer: I’d go with the MOVA P10 Pro Gen 1 or the Yeedi M14. If you're willing to bump the budget up a little bit a lot more things open up for you like the Roborock Qrevo S5X, Dreame L40 AE, the amazing origional Qrevo Cruv, and the EcovacsT80.
