I think the main advantage of a robot vacuum is that they handle regular upkeep for you. They’re great for maintenance, not deep cleaning. I’ve got the yeedi s16 plus, and it handles carpets well enough. It doesn’t mess them up or anything.

FWIW, I have a Yeedi S16 Plus that would fit the bill. It has a roller mop that works great, and the base station can be set to quiet mode (as can the robot). It also avoids people really well, but likes to sneak up on my cats and scare them 😉 This is my fourth vacuum bot, and so far my only complaint is that it gets stuck on shag rugs (because it inhales them).

My Yeeti (which seems to use the same app/software as Deebot) calls it "clean carpet first" under "carpet settings".

r/RobotVacuums • Are there any robot vacuums that mop/vacuum, but not at the same time? They can do either or? ->

I’ve got a golden retriever and he has this habit of eating in a rush, so he always throws some of his wet food around. I got a yeedi robot to help with cleaning, and tbh I thought I’d still have to mop again after it runs, but turns out the food crumbs are pretty much gone after it goes over. I didn’t spend much on it, but its roller mop actually does the job.

Flat mop isn’t that great, especially when it comes to floor gaps or carpets. Roller mops do a way better job since they rotate and press down for a deeper clean. The Yeedi I got felt like one of the better value options in the roller mop category. Last time I saw it on amazon, it was going for under $700 when they had a discount.

I have a Yeedi robot vacuum and it’s the top home purchase for myself other than my espresso maker lol. It was pretty affordable too! I have two young boys so our floors constantly have dirt and crumbs plus dog hair. I run it 1-2 times a day and it works great

We have a farm, 3 dogs, and a lot of cats... People throw them out and they find their way for us to spay, although only three or four frequent the house, the others like the barn with the rabbits, ducks, chickens and so on. With me being in a wheelchair, I depend on robots to help with upkeep. When my second Shark died due to lack of replacement parts, I sought a unit that has available parts and would do more effective work on deep cleaning, mopping and edge cleaning. This seemed the perfect solution, after I also tried, but returned the yeedi (good mopping but questionable vacuuming despite the high suction reported). This is absolutely incredible and so much quieter than my previous devices. It also was the easiest to learn to manage its app, hooked quickly to my WiFi, and has done the deepest clean (judging by the huge amount of material in my dust bag). A couple of the dogs were snacking and one nipped the other's ear and he started running and howling, as this hasn't ever happened before and we were shocked. But once I got him to settle and get the wound cleaned, there was some splatter to attend. This vac got right to what was on the floor, quickly and effectively. It's mopping and vacuuming are astounding, so much better than any of my previous devices. From what I can see there is a supply of replacement parts and access to maintain the device....I am happy with this purchase.

We had Roombas for a while but just switched to Yeedi (?). It has a mop and vacuum. We used to have two dogs with our Roomba. The longer dog hair can get tangled, so you have to clean the brushes often. Now we have just the one short hair dog. The Yeedi (?) works well in the dog hair.

I got a yeedi robot vacuum when my baby was about 8 months. Every night after kids fall asleep, I tidy up the living room and let the robot vacuum and mop the floors. Sometimes I’m too tired to pick up toys, I just leave the mess and let the robot do its thing.

I think it's worth a shot. I’ve got a yeedi robot vacuum and I actually use it way more than I thought. In fact I just let it mop the whole floor, and I lie on the couch watching TV.

Looks like hair’s the main problem here. A robot vacuum helps a lot with that, you can just schedule it to run a few times a day, and it’ll pick up the hair for you. I have a yeedi robot vacuum, and I think its suction is decent, does a good job picking up regular hair from my carpet.

Hi everyone, I have been looking for an alternative for a few home appliances and one that I am struggling with is a robot vacuum cleaner. I currently have a Yeedi but not ideal for privacy I'm sure. I stumbled on (maybe via AI, I can't remember) AENO (https://aeno.com ) which seems to EU based and have a huge catalogue but somehow seems "too good to be true"? I found reviews on their IR heater but that's about it, while their website lists such a big catalogue. Anyone in the community here knows more about this company? Thank you :)
