Just picked up a Yeedi during black friday. We have pets at home, and it actually handles the hair well, at least I don’t have to walk around with a lint roller every day.😂 It’s not going to get things 100% spotless, but it just makes things a lot more comfy. Especially on busy days, I honestly find it reliable.

I have a Yeedi robot vacuum and it’s the top home purchase for myself other than my espresso maker lol. It was pretty affordable too! I have two young boys so our floors constantly have dirt and crumbs plus dog hair. I run it 1-2 times a day and it works great

Not the original commenter, but I had a cheap no name one and two sharks. Those three each lived about 18 months. I do use them heavily (at least 3x a week) but love them so much. I wouldn’t pay more than $300 for one that vacuums and mops with a station that cleans it. But that seems to be the sweet spot for me. Right now I have a shark and a yeedi. The yeedi app often stops working but the cleaning itself is fine.

We had Roombas for a while but just switched to Yeedi (?). It has a mop and vacuum. We used to have two dogs with our Roomba. The longer dog hair can get tangled, so you have to clean the brushes often. Now we have just the one short hair dog. The Yeedi (?) works well in the dog hair.

I got a yeedi robot vacuum when my baby was about 8 months. Every night after kids fall asleep, I tidy up the living room and let the robot vacuum and mop the floors. Sometimes I’m too tired to pick up toys, I just leave the mess and let the robot do its thing.

I think it's worth a shot. I’ve got a yeedi robot vacuum and I actually use it way more than I thought. In fact I just let it mop the whole floor, and I lie on the couch watching TV.

r/CleaningTips • I hate mopping. Should I just get a robot vacuum? ->

Looks like hair’s the main problem here. A robot vacuum helps a lot with that, you can just schedule it to run a few times a day, and it’ll pick up the hair for you. I have a yeedi robot vacuum, and I think its suction is decent, does a good job picking up regular hair from my carpet.

Hi everyone, I have been looking for an alternative for a few home appliances and one that I am struggling with is a robot vacuum cleaner. I currently have a Yeedi but not ideal for privacy I'm sure. I stumbled on (maybe via AI, I can't remember) AENO (https://aeno.com ) which seems to EU based and have a huge catalogue but somehow seems "too good to be true"? I found reviews on their IR heater but that's about it, while their website lists such a big catalogue. Anyone in the community here knows more about this company? Thank you :)

I see that you've gotten the message about dust bags. :-) I agree with what they've said, but to answer your question: Shark, some Eureka models, and a few Ecovacs and Yeedi models have bagless auto-empty stations. For the Eureka, Yeedi, and Ecovacs models, it's obvious from the product photos which ones are bagless -- just look for the big transparent dust container on the base station. I don't know if Shark even makes a robot vacuum auto-empty bin that uses bags, so you're probably safe with any of them. As for good brands, I'd probably rank them as follows, from best to worst: Ecovacs/Yeedi, Eureka, Shark. I wouldn't rate any of them as high as either Roborock or Eufy.
