Wanted to Chine in on this.  I recently got the Standard size Reland Pad with 5.5 R Value (ASTM).  At about 3.5in thick with vertical baffles it's surprisingly comfortable for a side sleeper.  For $50 (with inflation sack) I feel like a stole it.   This brand hasn't gotten much traction but honestly given that the stuff is frequently on sale for almost 50% off MSRP I'm strongly considering grabbing one of these bags to go with the Pad. I did notice that the Regular size Reland Pad is starting to go out of stock, so I'm wondering if they are refreshing the product range.

I bought an Ampex pad a few days ago and it's coming today. The brand is pretty reputable (it's not some random knockoff brand drop shipping from Alibaba). I did some digging and Ampex is owned by Insight 2 Designs which is a legit company that also owns brands like Core Equipment and Firefly! Outdoor. Insight 2 Designs is a company that like designs outdoor products for other companies, you can check out their website at [insight2design.com](http://insight2design.com), to check for yourself. Also many big brand companies carry their products, I saw Public Lands (owned by Dick's), Dick's, Kohls, Bass Pro/Cabela's, and I just saw the official government Veteran Canteens Service have a listing for it. The R value stated is ASTM rated, so it's comparable. You can check the reviews on the websites that people buy from. There are also some YouTube reviews for it, [Budget Sleeping Pads You Actually Want To Use! - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSdIzHaF-qc&t=807s), being one of them. Hope this helps!

Just got it today, feels great, it includes a giant pump sack. There is definitely insulation and for the first time you use it you can hear a lot of crinkle, but once on the pad it doesn’t crinkle that much. I recommend getting the long wide version cuz for just 10 bucks more it feels so comfortable haha

Yes it was noisy when folding and unfolding, but it gets quieter when on the pad and the film sets. However the pad does have vertical baffles which for me is fine, but I think some people may find uncomfortable but I as a side sleeper thing it’s fine. Uhhhh the pad is firm and doesn’t flatten when on it, and you can always deflate to help.

I like my Reland pad. It's 3.3" thick so if you're a side sleeper, like myself, you'll feel the ground every now and then. Comes with a pump sack, packs up great and isn't too loud moving around on. I've only had it down to the upper 30's but it performed well, no complaints! And $50 is cheaper than I got it for
