This one is the 🐐 https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/_/R-p-307396
We’ve got these! They are bulky but extremely comfortable. Slept so well at glasto last year.
I have this exact one but use it often together with the camp bed air https://www.decathlon.nl/p/opblaasbaar-veldbed-voor-kamperen-camp-bed-air-70-cm-1-persoon/_/R-p-309887 I camped with only the mat at -2c and it was quite cold, but if better preparerd (have a better sleeping bag than I do and dont be a woman) I think it can be quite ok! It is comfortabele to sleep on, even without the camp bed air. Only downside is it just packs huge.
+1 for the Berghaus self inflating mattress or possibly the Decathalon version. I got the Decathlon one because it’s more affordable and definitely still more comfy than your standard air mattress. However, I go camping with my family a lot and have since tried out one of their Berghaus matresses and you do get extra comfort for the money. When I upgrade it’ll be because the Berghaus version is way easier to carry. The decathlon dupe folds into a big awkward rectangle that doesn’t fit under my arm (f, 5’7). Whereas the Berghaus rolls into a little sleeping bag/tent-style bag that is easier to chuck in a trolly or ikea bag of other stuff. In the meantime I’m going to try fashioning some longer straps for mine, but then risk it dragging on the floor so we’ll see. 😅 One cool thing about the decathlon version is that they have clips so you can clip the singles into a doubles if needed. I used to get a recurring knot in my back from camping on roll mats and air mattresses and it hasn’t come back since getting a self-inflator. And I’ve slept like a baby all the festivals I’ve used it for so what you go for depends on the pay off for comfy or extra comfy!
We’ve bought these for this year! Glad to see some positive reviews.
I've tried it as a cheaper alternative to Exped Megamat but immediately returned. It's about 25% thinner (7.5cm) than the Megamat and way less comfortable. When laying on the side my hips started to hurt because I could feel the ground underneath and when pumped up with more pressure it felt like sleeping on some stiff rubbery floor, hard to explain but again nowhere near as comfortable as the Megamat. I found it highly amusing that Decathlon calls this product "ultimate comfort". If you want an established product from a reputable company get the Exped Megamat 10 (which I have) or the Thermarest Mondoking 3D. As a cheaper alternative look for KingCamp at Amazon (I've got some products from them and they're really decent, definitely better than any of these Decathlon trash products. The inflatable bed frame works great with the Megamat 10)
I've got this, it's excellent!! Worth the extra bulk/weight for sure
QUECHUA Zelfopblazend Luchtbed Voor Kamperen Ultim Comfort 70 Cm Breed 1 Persoon € 99,99 https://www.decathlon.nl/p/_/R-p-307396?mc=8914320&utm_source%3Dmobileapp%26utm_medium%3Dshare%26utm_campaign%3Dproductpage= Heel fijn! Zeker als je er twee koopt en op elkaar legt. Dan kun je ze precies afstellen zoals je zelf het lekkerst ligt. 😉
