If it works, it works. I personally use this Hiipeak pad I got off of Amazon last minute one time- it’s easy and fast to inflate, comfy, and has held up. [https://a.co/d/gY7rJRq](https://a.co/d/gY7rJRq)

And it's decently insulated. We did a peak trip in dolly sods 2 weeks ago. It was pretty cold at night (35-40f) and I slept like a fuckin baby

Love mine, easy to put up and away. Pretty light in the bag, has an r rating of around 4/5. Found it pretty comfy to sleep on.

I had this exact sleeping pad. It’s a good budget option for summer and maybe spring camping, but the insulation is pretty bad for fall and winter and not to forget it’s pretty bulky and on the heavier side

Negligible R-value and mine continually deflates, do not recommend.

As long as your mindful of what your sleeping on top of (no sharp rocks/sticks), you will be absolutely fine with this. Ive had this exact pad for almost 2 years now with no issues.

These sorts of things are unrated lifestyle products direct from Chinese manufacturers. My experience with these products is that they are mostly fine and typically an okay value for the price, but I've never found their products to be trustworthy if you are relying on it far in the backcountry. But for a night or two near the car when the weather is above freezing? Perfectly fine most of the time. It'll get you off the ground and give you a little warmth. You'll notice they do not attempt to provide an R-value rating or any sort of promises. I'm sure there's a little bit of insulation in there, per their advertising (if you decide to cut into it, you may find a very disappointing thin layer of fiber batting). So the strategy for this would be to get this home, inflate it and sleep a night on your carpet. If that works out for you and no leaks develop, take it for a weekend.

I just used an almost identical version of this from Amazon on a 3-night trip into the AZ mountains. Held up great for those 3 nights and kept me warm / off the ground when paired with my sleeping bag. Also was manageable in my bag and compacted down well while deflating. I echo others that I worry about it longer-term, but I'm not a super frequent backpacker, so using it a few times a year for \~$30 new on Amazon was fine with me
