Hikenture - Extra Thick Double Self Inflating Sleeping Pad

I bought the inflatable mattress foam combo for camping per recommendation of an LIBer 2 years ago. I love it. Rei has the $400 version. When I car camped with my gf for 3 weeks on a road trip she got a foam topper for it, I didn’t think it’s necessary though. Big fan! I'll add another vote for Exped. I've got a Megamat Duo I take for car camping or no portage canoe trips with my wife. Exped 8R for hike-in winter camping too. I also recently got the single size Hikenture 4" foam + air mattress and it seems to be quite similar in terms of comfort but for only $100. For backpacking or longer portage trips where weight is a concern, I also really like my Thermarest NeoLoft pad.

We had the same problem with air mattresses when camping renaissance festivals who do very minimal prep/care to the camp grounds (level ground is a premium and you're dealing with a year of roots and growth since they're seasonal and only open for a few weeks to a couple months at a time). The wife and I share a mattress so we wanted a queen-size one or similar -- I wanted an exped duo queen but their pricing was a bit out of reach for me at the time. We went with this 'hikenture' off of amazon for a fraction of the price and have been happy with it. It comes with a pump sack that you blow into to inflate, then roll to force the air into the mattress. Every time we use the mattress it takes less sacks of air to inflate to our preference. I also bought a cheap USB rechargeable micro air pump off of the Bezos Bazaar that we're going to try this season. I got the hikenture a couple months ago (I already had their pillow) but have only used it one night down to the mid 40’s.      I was a bit cold overall but didn’t feel cold from the pad.  So no complaints.  

Buy the hikenture or naturehike Pads for like 60-80€
