i know its a bit late, but I love it. Its not the lightest, but its comfortable and warmer than my 0 degree bag. It is a little wide tho, 26 inches, so you need to make sure it fits in your tent, but that extra inch is well worth the comfort. R-value wise, it feels a little colder than a 5.0 pad, but i think thats because its a 4 inch thick pad thats 26 inches wide. It also doesnt help that I am small for someone 5'11. TL:DR -- Its a good pad, comfortable, doesnt bottom out, warm enough for 3 season and maybe a bit into winter depending on where you are.

This is why I've switched to Kilos elite pads after wasting decades and £££s on Nemo, Thermarest, etc. Kilos pads are at least 1/2 the price of the 'premium', but still unreliable, pads and easily the comfiest I've ever used. They look similar to the S2S Ether lites (which started leaking after 3 nights) but are way comfier for some reason.

I bought it and wished I wouldn’t have. First, it ships from Hong Kong, and takes weeks for it to even make to America. Then once it’s here it takes weeks to get it. It is comfy, it is big, but how long it takes to deliver and the quality isn’t worth it. Stick to brands you know and trust. Taking a risk on an unknown brand is not worth it. Same goes for SierraMadre research and the “Puffle” blanket. Stay the h$&& away from that company. I ordered one of there blankets on June 1st. Haven’t heard a word on shipping, can’t get ahold of customer service. Pretty sure I got ripped

Nemo Tensor, Kilos Gear AeroCloud Elite, Big Agnes Rapide SL, Thermarest NeoLoft. The Sea To Summit Etherlight XT is also comfortable but heavy and bulky for a backpacking pad.

But the kilosgear is lighter than all Therm-a-Rest wide pads and also much thicker?

I'm late to this but I have their Elite pad in the long version. It may be a drop shipped and a copy of someone else's design, but it's worked perfectly for me. I've had probably 21 nights on it over a few years, so I can't speak to heavy usage, but it's as good as new for me. Slept on it down to about 30 degrees and it's been comfortable and cozy. At 6'5" and a hardcore side sleeper, I need a big pad. This is huge in all directions and weighs 2 pounds. I've never slept better in the back country. I would happily buy it again.

FWIW, I use a Kilos Gear Elite pad. I recall that they use ASTM standards.

I have been impressed with a company called Kilo's Gear so bought the AeroCloud Sleeping Pad Elite in Large. It comes in at under 700g and is a slight bit wider than most.

I recently purchased the kilos gear AeroCloud elite large. I’m 6’2”, weigh 220 and this pad checked off all my requirements. I’ve only used it once and found it warm and comfortable. I’m planning several backpacking trips to the Allegheny National Forest in PA soon. I’ll update this post as I go.

A great little climb up to Winnets Pass from Castleton, pitched up, all going well..! Blew up my sleeping pad (Kilos Gear) which has been fine for the last 2 camps. Made my dinner and felt like I was bottoming out the pad more than usual, pumped it up again and went back to dinner. The pad was now noticeably losing air from the bottom left of the valve. Now here's the lesson, I had no foil mat or foam pad with me. So I had to spend the night trying to sleep on a completely deflated pad, my coat and the the compression sacks of the tent, pad, pillow and quilt. Needless to say I had a terrible night's kip and packed up at 04.30 to get home and have a nap! Never again will I camp without backup for the pad. Now to decide on a new pad, Big Agnes, Klymit or Nemo...

I've been in contact with them today and they've said that since I bought mine they've upgraded the valve. They've refunded me, apologised and are sending out the newer model free of charge. Can't really argue with that customer service.

Yeah aeros cloud. I used it previously and it was pretty good. Very comfortable, massive size (I got large) and pretty quiet. I don't suspect it's a common fault though.

For car camping, an Exped MegaMat. REI Camp Dreamer and there is one Amazon by LostHorizon. They all are all self inflating and combine memory foam with air. Backpacking, the new Thermarest Neoloft, Big Agnes Rapide of Kilos Aero Cloud pad. You can also try a mattress topper and/or closed cell foam mattress over what you have now.
