Get the nature hike from Amazon: [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D4QXGBMC?ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_fed\_asin\_title&th=1](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D4QXGBMC?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1) It is insulated and pretty darn comfy.

I'm in north Georgia. Most of my camping is in April-June and September-October. So my gear is tailored to these more pleasant months (R4 pad, 20-degree down quilt) I can get colder at night than expected, a 20-degree quilt, paired with wool baselayers & benie is good down to maybe 28 degrees, I could always wear my puffy jacket if it dips closer to 20F. Warmer months I have a 40-degree quilt. For winter (I won't camp in that), a different setup would be needed. I probably would add a 2nd mat, foam. For survival if the air mat goes flat. I would layer both quilts, and get a down neck/head covering (forgot its name). Or buy dedicated winter camping stuff. But winter camping gear is heavy & I would not want to carry it the rest of the year. Weight matters

Get one from Nature Hike. We use **[Nature Hike Ultra Light Sleeping Pad](https://s.shopee.ph/8Kh5Xzq2oF)** para hindi ganoon ka hassle and kabigat dalhin. Even sa tents namin we always opt to choose UL. Portable rin ng storage niya maliit lang talaga. But, still your choice. Okay din if yung automatic na bilhin mo para hindi na kayo mahirapan mag inflate. My friend have it, yung **[Nature Hike Automatic Inflatable Pad](https://s.shopee.ph/4ArWaUxfp3)**. Mas thicker siya and mas may cushioned of course, compared sa UL.

My nature hike didn't even last one night, for what my anecdote is worth.

8.8R value is fake, Naturehike pads are pretty light and comfortable but are nowhere near pads like thermarest, Exped or STS. This is not possible for this kind of design and lightness to be so warm.
