"As a hybrid worker, I find the Arzopa one to be super valuable. ... Goes in a backpack"
"Minipc powers/displays to a monitor via a usb-c. Very convenient and great for a travel setup."
"The portable travel monitor travels super well ... I spent probably 2 months traveling/living out of hotels this year between work and pleasure."

"I had a Big Agnes for a decade. ... It sprung a leak on a trip this time last year. ... I found the leak on a seam and called to ask about repairing it. ... They asked for a pic, which I sent as well as a pic of the valve cut off (per their instructions) and my new pad arrived in a few days. No charge. ... I’ll never buy a pad from a different manufacturer again."
"if they fail (which out of all the matt's ive had over the years are the most reliable) the customer service is second to none, you will get a replacement."
"For me the thermarest warranty has been worth its weight in gold ... every interaction I’ve had with them has been amazing, no questions asked replacement or repair"

"It’s the first ultralight mat I’ve used that doesn’t sound like a bag of chips when I move around — no annoying crinkle from the heat-reflective foil. ... The outer fabric is also surprisingly quiet."
"My favorite part is that they're soooo quiet. No rustling or rubbed-balloon sound when you roll over."
"Insulation instead of reflective layer is quieter ... Can’t stand the crinkly noise produced by reflective layer models. ... I find they’re less noisy than the reflective pads. ... Overall, i find expeds less noisy."

"I'm exclusively a side sleeper and my backpacking set up I wake up pain free, so proper support for spinal alignment is so crucial as well as adequate cushion for hips and shoulders."
"the Expeds are AMAZING. ... I actually get good nights sleep on trail with them"
"Lengthwise baffles are just so much more comfortable for me"

"The other two have a slippery surface that makes the last 1" on each side unusable since you slide off it anyway. ... the slipperiness is annoying for me since it just allows my leg to slide back down/off the pad (this is why I tried and ultimately moved away from the Nemo)."

"I personally hated the pitch lock system that prevents it from really folding/rolling as small as its competitor."
"the packed size, it's fkn big ... You really need to be sure you can fit it in your car or be prepared to strap it to the top. ... When I had a Jeep, it BARELY fit! Bottom right corner. When I shut the tailgate, it would nudge it and that was having to move the passenger seat up as far as I could and still be able to sit in the seat."
"It's about the size of 12 by 12 popup shelter folded up."

"But what makes me love the Exped Megamat is that the top layer feels like it stretches, sp the pad contours to your body like memory foam, just less thick"
"The toggles won stop a weighted foot or knee from dropping in between the mattresses but when sleeping it s not really noticeable."
"thinner and less cushy feeling"
Comfortable, I have one now. Before I had a Nemo pad I returned and honestly, kind of wish I had kept it. Only downside was it took forever to inflate. Also, these things go on sale/get returned all the time. I’d look for one second hand if possible.
r/CampingGear • MegaMat Duo Sleeping Mat - Medium, worth the hype? ->NEMO Roamer Sleeping Pad. I dont know how but this 4” thick air mattress feels like sleeping on a regular bed. It’s hands down the best choice that I’ve found.
r/camping • Couples What do you sleep on? ->The answer is exped megamat or the Nemo roamed. Expensive, but as comfortable as it can get.
r/camping • I am tired of air mattress to sleep on. ->Have you considered a camping cot? There are a lot of ultralight options now which are about the same price as a good sleeping pad for side sleepers. The only difference being is the weight, you’re looking at around 1.5kg for a cot bed which would be double the weight of a sleeping pad. For me, the extra weight is worth it for the comfort. For context I’ve tried Therm-a-Rest, Big Agnes and Nemo mats. If I’m going for comfort, the cot bed wins every time.
r/wildcampingintheuk • Best sleeping pads for side sleeping? ->My Nemo pad is more comfortable than my Purple bed 😂
r/WildernessBackpacking • How much better are “nice” sleeping pads? ->Nemo all the way!! They are luxury and pack up so small! I’ve been pregnant and camped with them and they are superb!
r/canoecamping • Need new sleeping pad for canoe trips (sidesleeper) suggestions? ->Up vote for the Nemo. Most used wedding present.
r/canoecamping • Need new sleeping pad for canoe trips (sidesleeper) suggestions? ->Just used the Nemo for the first time last weekend on the AT, slept on my side half the night and it was a night and day difference compared to my old zrest pad. So much more comfy. Held air incredibly, you can blow it up and make it very firm or leave it a little softer. Didn’t leak at all overnight. Wasn’t cold at all either but it was only in the 40s, so not a good test yet on that end. No experience with others listed
r/CampingGear • Any strong reason to choose one over the others? ->As others have said, an exped megamat duo is probably the best option out there but it's pricey. There's a few from other brands that are a similar design (soft top, filled with foam so labeled as self inflating, etc.). Alternatives would be Nemo Roamer, Sea-To-Summit Comfort Deluxe, REI Camp Dreamer, MEC Reactor. The foam filling and soft top make them way more comfortable than the massive intex matresses or the one you have posted even though they are significantly thinner.
r/CampingGear • Anyone here tried the Kingcamp air mattress? ->Yeah. I don't regret getting a fancy Nemo pad because it's at least light and warm, but I've still never had a good night on one.
r/WildernessBackpacking • How much better are “nice” sleeping pads? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
