Having done about 600 miles with torso length GG Thinlight, I can honestly say it’s not for everyone/most. I now use 10mm Evazote cut to torso length and it’s really comfortable. If you want something thinner, I’d go with the Yamatomichi 5mm.

I have the Yamatomichi 15+ (cut to 125 cm) and their Minimalist after previously having tried the Switchback. I didn't like the dimples on the Switchback, I much prefer the smooth Yamatomichis. Also, their foam, despite being lighter, feels firmer which makes side sleeping much more comfortable. The negative with the 15+ is that it is bulky and is resistant to folding. I've seen a Japanese website where someone cut their 15+ into panels like the Switchback, taping them together with Gorilla tape.

I've have the GG 1/8" and find it too soft and fragile. The Yamatomichi Minimalist at 5 mm is far superior: for almost the same weight they use a denser foam (XLPE) which is also more durable (probably due to them using 7 mm foam heat pressed to 5 mm). Excluding temperature, it's actually pretty comfortable with proper site selection.
