I also picked up the Aosu. I paid around $60. I have been pleased with it so far. I liked that I could use local storage. The video and audio are better than I expected and I have had no issues. It is easy to remove to charge the batteries.
I purchased the Aosu video doorbell on Amazon about 2 years ago (about €85). They offer a chargeable cloud backup. I just bought an SD card and placed it in the supplied chime receiver and it has worked out perfectly for me. No additional cost and as it’s battery operated, I simply remove the doorbell in the evening a couple of times a year and plug it in via a USB C cable and recharge it. I remain very happy with my purchase.
Think about any obligatory monthly subscription fees. We have an Aosu. It has an option to use their online service but works great with standalone version.
I've been using the Aosu doorbell camera, interior cameras, and outdoor security cameras.
The doorbell camera has good motion sensing, can be set to only react to people, and has package recognition. It has good daytime resolution and night vision. The app is also simple and straightforward. The battery lasts about 3 months before needing to be recharged. It also comes with a door bell chime. It has an optional subscription for cloud storage, but I have used a 64 GB SD card with no issues.

My AOSU doorbell is wireless and has a mounting clip that is screwed on the wall. Use a pin underneath to release for recharging. Not impossible to steal but not easy either.
