steven-aziz 0.5I believe most video doorbells have an angled mount for situations just like this. My current video doorbell from Arlo came with an angled mount in the box.

bierbelly42 0.2Just FYI, I've not found anything completely european made in a similar price range, but have now ordered an Arlo camera. The company originally stems from the US, however, they sold their European branch to Verisure in Ireland (surely for tax purposes, but hey). The video data is saved on EU servers, doesn't need a subscription. Happy to report once its here.
It works. Better than the ring in my opinion.
DescriptionNo3971 0.2I moved from Arlo to ring because I had a ring alarm and wanted it all in one system. Ring has really been great for me. And nice it’s all in one subscription. I enjoyed Arlo but they kept raising prices and losing features. To answer your question, it’s probably the easiest solution that will usually just work without issues. Eufy is a contender but I think there’s still privacy concerns there with them.

Formal-Sprinkles-210 0.2DO NOT ever buy a Arlo camera. Since I got mine in November of 2024 I’ve had nothing but issues!! It disconnects randomly from my WiFi I have to talk to live support for 30+ minutes to get it straightened out. It also doesn’t advertise on the box you have to pay a subscription for all the “features” they say you have!!
