Wemo Smart Video Doorbell (WDC010)

I use a Wemo WDC010. Wemo is stopping support for their HomeKit products in January but the doorbell will still work. You can still buy them on eBay. Note: I was not able to successfully add the doorbell to the Home app on my phone (iOS 26.0.1) but was successful using my iPad (iPadOS 26.0.1). My previous WDC010 was added to my iPhone Home app no problem with an older version of iOS.

If you can find a Wemo Smart Video Doorbell Camera somewhere - even secondhand - I recommend it. I’ve had both it and the Logitech one, and Logitech’s constantly overheated in the morning (my front door faces east), but the Wemo’s been good, it’s just discontinued. It is wired and uses the existing doorbell power, which I prefer over battery-powered so I don’t have to remember to charge it. Aqara is a solid brand in my experience but I haven’t used the doorbell cam.

Used wemo belkin may fit your needs but the transformer needs to be powerful enough or else it gets glitchy

Mine has worked pretty well for last couple years! Didn’t need to do anything special like blocking internet access. Does need an occasional reset once every few months but I got it for $60 used so can’t complain too much.

The Wemo works great with Homekit. My biggest issue with it is it goes offline by itself all of the time. It happens at least once every 6-8 weeks. I've seen complaints from others. I don't think it's the network, since it's mounted with 20feet of the router. It can be fixed by removing the tiny screw at the bottom, hitting the reset button, then remounting. Then you run the risk of dropping the tiny screw that holds it in place. I received extra screw, and haven't used it yet. I do like that it uses the existing chime.

Have had Wemo over 2 years with no issues. The biggest things to consider is wifi signal at your doorbell and updating your transformer.
