Eufy 2K. No subscription, local storage, dead simple. Avoids all the Ring nonsense.

Eufy here too. I’ve a wired one and it’s been a great yoke for the last five years. No subscription unless you want it, not needed with local recording anyway.

Eufy is the way to go. I use Eufy for my home security (I pay for the monitoring service now, but didn't in the past), and I love it.

So if you are dead ho on no cloud storage, I would go with Eufy. The doorbell and cameras can work with the home base and the footage is recorded on that. They HAVE had some security issues, but I was super impressed by the CEO who answered the hard questions and discussed how they were patching the issues. I like the focal length on the first one for this use case much better. My $35 Eufy 2k cameras are on par or better than both of them.
