Yes - but all of the battery doorbells should see more than your doorbell 2 - the battery plus and battery pro look better than the battery doorbell 3rd gen.

It does, ring updated their help pages for it yesterday. The plus is not on the list however.

https://ring.com/support/articles/wtr7r/24-7-recording-security-cams?hasLangChanged=true - top one on the list. Mine is being delivered today so I can confirm when I install it.

I have the 2nd gen Ring doorbell and have never had an issue with it. The battery lasts probably 3 months. I have it set that it only detects motion in the front garden, though it will still detect a bin lorry or big van passing. The yearly subscription is €40

I am going down a rabbithole of video dorbells for my new place. I currently have a 2nd gen Ring dorbell and wish to upgrade it, preferably to something with onboard storage so I stop paying for the ring subscription, plus a battery mode as my new home has 1 foot thick stone walls so I don't wish to run cables outside. What drives me nuts is that ALL the dorbells I saw, from Tapo to Reolink, have a simple clip-on mounting to the plate on the wall. To me that is crazy, as anyone can just pick it up! My current ring old camera has 2 star screws which are hard to remove and at least create some friction for anyone wanting to steal it. Does anyone know of a product that satisfies both security and convenience? help plz <3

Have Ring cameras including battery ones, no problems. I have had bad luck with ring battery doorbells, they always eventually stop connecting to wifi and saying there's no battery detected. I've gone through 3 so I don't think I'd buy another Ring Doorbell.

yes i have one and i find it great, if you already have alexa devices in the house the ring doorbell works seamlessly with them, so when someone rings the doorbell, the alexa devices will notify you, saves getting an indoor bell chime. i have the battery one a few years and charge maybe 3 times a year. any decent doorbell camera is worth the small investment to be honest, doesnt have to be ring.

The Ring Battery Doorbell or Arlo battery doorbell work well with Home Assistant and expose button presses, unlike the Eufy C30 or C31.
