Yes - but all of the battery doorbells should see more than your doorbell 2 - the battery plus and battery pro look better than the battery doorbell 3rd gen.

I’ve put up 3 Doorbell Plus, my house, my parents, and my grandparents. I’ve been pleased with them, I’ve done two just off battery and bought an indoor chime and they work great 2-3 months on a charge 3-4 weeks in the MN winter. I wired one of them because I could, it helps by trying to keep the battery around 90%, I have had it not keep up during the winter though so it’s not flawless. Complaints, the subscription for recording videos is kind of annoying when you only have one camera, you can still use the doorbell without the subscription but you only get live view. I also don’t care for Ring as a company anymore but I’m too far into the ecosystem, the app is easy to use, and as far as battery powered and offering a full line up of products they are one of the few. I want to switch to Ubiquity but it’s all hardwired and much more expensive although it has no subscription for features.

If you are on the fence, test the Ring first. Most places have free returns, so you can pick it up, mount it, and see if the battery life works for you.

Get the battery plus wired if you can. If not wired. Never go with battery only. It’s a pain.

yes i have one and i find it great, if you already have alexa devices in the house the ring doorbell works seamlessly with them, so when someone rings the doorbell, the alexa devices will notify you, saves getting an indoor bell chime. i have the battery one a few years and charge maybe 3 times a year. any decent doorbell camera is worth the small investment to be honest, doesnt have to be ring.

The Ring Battery Doorbell or Arlo battery doorbell work well with Home Assistant and expose button presses, unlike the Eufy C30 or C31.
