I use kasa from tplink. Local storage on SD card and I can access it via app.
Blink's main downside is lower video quality compared to Kasa, and the field of view is narrower. Kasa has 2K resolution on some models which is sharper. What's more important to you, sharper video or better integration? If you have Alexa devices, Blink wins. If you want higher res, Kasa.
Same. I had a bunch of Wyze cameras, but I've moved onto TP-Links Tapo system and am happy with it all. Their Kasa line is also good.
I've been very happy with my Kasa doorbell cam. No subscription fees required (you CAN optionally pay for cloud storage), all recordings are kept locally on the micro SD card, with a good storage time (about 7 days playback on my 128Gb SD at 2K resolution), it allows two-way audio to talk to someone remotely (works pretty well for me). And the night mode works well, with infrared night vision but also a small light that turns on in event detection. The 2K resolution is very good for my purposes. You can configure the detection zones, and schedule no disturb times for the phone app. Basically all the things you probably want.
Nope. Kasa for $39, does all the things the OP wants, and excellent image quality besides. See my top-level reply to OP.
Kasa and Tapo No subscription required. FWIW get a wired doorbell (the battery powered ones take too long to wake up)
I use the kasa powered one and its great. Amazon will often have an open box model for a great price, and thats the route I'd go (full warranty and refund)
I use a kasa kd110. It's a tp link tapo brand. Wired. SD card. No subscription. Cheap (about $40).
We use Tapo n Kasa Inexpensive enough to be practically disposable. I think my kasa cost about $40

Try the tapo or kasa doorbells. I kniw you say "apartment friendly" but if you have wires, a wired doorbell is super easy to install.
Nah. I bought a kasa (tapo TP link) doorbell without subscription. It is pointed outwards towards the public street.

I have been extremely satisfied with my TPlink Kasa KD110.
Ring has lower latency than Tapo (which also has local storage to no subscription) I found
