Wyze - Duo Cam Doorbell

Blink and Wyze have sd cards to record events. I’ve tried Wyze and Blink and prefer Ring with $9.99 subscription.

You’ll want a battery powered doorbell camera. Eufy, Wyze, Blink, etc. nearly all of them either the manufacturer or a third party make mounts for renters. IMHO stay away from ring (I just ditched mine after 5 years), they recently announced that they no longer require law enforcement to obtain a warrant for video from your doorbell.

Wyze is. It perfect but best I’ve used for free I have both wired v2 and wirelsss / both rock solid for staying up and recording and voice /sound / alerts

I think Wyze is love or hate for people on this sub.. but I have a bunch of their cameras, including the Doorbell Duo, because I think they have a great price-to-quality ratio. There is an optional subscription that gives extra features, but they work just fine without it.

Doorbell works perfectly fine with Frigate. I've had mine going for 2+ years. There were some reolink issues historically (and I've had some issues with my Duo 2) but the doorbell is not an issue in Frigate or BI.

We have a Wyze and are happy with it.

TP-Link's Kasa or Tapo devices are what you want. Get a large enough memory card and you'll have 24/7 recording for a month. Great quality video as well. I previously had Ring, Nest, and Wyze doorbell cameras, my Tapo doorbell camera is superior to those.
