I had a Wyze Duo--really liked it. Was wifi and battery lasted about two months on average. I really liked it, since one camera pointed down and I could see all over in front of my door for packages. I LOVE Reolink, and this PoE never having to charge it, but i miss the dual cams. I can see a lot of in front of door, but not the full depth. Decent camera, integrated super easy. I use Synology's Surveillance Station and it records the video on all the Reolinks. I don't buy any of Reolink's advanced stuff or anything.

Yeah my house is pretty automated. Ive got an Alexa in just about every room, lights are controlled with plugs, and i have wyze cameras all over, as well as a wyze duo doorbell. I just dont have a thermostat. I dont think that's the "norm" but I know I'm not the only one.

I have a Wyze Duo Cam Doorbell. Works great. No Subscription. No electrical power

I have only had it for 6 months or so. Didn't have doorbell camera before this one. No need to reset or anything funky. But yours is 3-4 yearsold maybe that's all they are good for these days. Everything is disposable. It has that dual camera which is great as one points down to show the packages and one points out to see who is there or walking up

I've been a long time Wyze user. So far, most of the products have been fine, but my duo video doorbell will nod a signal. I've had other cameras and doorbells and knee exact same spot and they have had no problem

Multiple angles is definitely the way to go. We have a Wyze cam that covers the driveway walking up to the house, a Wyze doorbell duo, and a porch camera pointed out a window that shows anything sitting on the porch / stairs. Compaint #1 on the Wyze doorbells is the huge amount of lag from the time that someone presses the doorbell to when you can see who's at the door in the app. We had similar issues with our previous doorbell pro cam from them. Complaint #2 is we haven't found any good way to "hang up" the attempted call if someone opens the door. Once I've opened the door, I don't need the request for a VOIP call to keep ringing on my phone.

Wyze cameras. We have 4, 2 of them battery powered doorbells that can be hardwired in if you want. Set each device to "internet only" in your router settings, you may need to set up another network that's all "internet only".
